Cyndir's eyes widened breifly for a moment as Sanzo answered him and pulled him close.
As soon as he felt the heated contact of Sanzo's lips against his, all other considerations left his mind and dark lashes fluttered softly closed as he leaned into the kiss. It truly felt as it should be. See? No more hiding. No more fighting.
A small sound of surprise formed itself in Cyndir's throat as the kiss suddenly turned passionate, and before he could register what was happening, he found himself responding. His arms went up to Sanzo's chest, as his mouth opened and willingly returned the kiss. This is what you wanted all along. This is why you always felt the way you did. His hands trailed up Sanzo's chest and went over his shoulders. He wanted the moment to last an eternity.

Gwen ran down the hall toward Sanzo's room. She knocked politely on the door. "Sanzo? It's Gwen..." she called. She found the door unlocked so she opened it and saw Cyndir and Sanzo locked in an amourous embrace. "Oh, I'm SO sorry, I'll just be out..." she blushed and slid out the door. She sat leaning against the wall on the hinge side of the door, blushing furiously.

Cyndir's ears suddenly perked at the sound of a door opening. With sudden cry of fright, he instinctively broke away, and whirled to the door just in time to see Gwen duck out. She had seen...No...He forced his eyes shut, as his face drained of color. He covered his face with his hands.
Stay calm...Stay calm...Stay...
Tears stung in his eyes. Someone had seen them. He wasn't ready for this! What would he do? He stood there, frozen where he stood, covering his face. Don't run. Don't run. Stay calm. Don't run. Not now. Stay calm he chanted in his mind.

Sanzo was deep into the kiss betwwen he and Cyn when the door opend suddenly and closed just as quickly.
'That voice...Gwen...what the...Cyn...no'
Sanzos concentration on Cyn had been broken and suddenly Cyndir whipped around and covered his face.
"Cyn-kun, stop, don't just leave me again." Sanzo wrapped his arms around the boy and squeezed with all the strngth he could manage. He laid his head on Cyndirs soulder and whispered into his ear.
"It's ok Cyn-kun, I'll talk to her, she won't tell, I'll make sure of it. I'm not here to hurt you Cyn-kun, I love you. Please don't leave me...I really kind of need to be with you right now. If you like we can both talk to her. I'll even buy coffee at the union. Please Cyn, just calm down."
He just held Cyndir hoping it would keep him from running off. He dare not kiss him again, he might scare the boy off...again.
"Well Cyn-kun, what do you say?"

Cyndir drew in on himself, as Sanzo embraced him tightly and his words slowly managed to find their way into Cyndir's head. He fought back his panic, and clung to him, burying his face against Sanzo's neck as the taller boy rested his head on Cyn's shoulder. He knew he was probably blushing again, but as long as he kept his face hidden...
"Sanzo-kun...I..." he mumbled, voice muffled against Sanzo's neck. "It can't...it can't happen...not again..."
He felt his cheeks get damp as a few tears slipped out. Their cruel taunting echoed in his mind. He took a deep breath, and nodded slowly, but still didn't release his hold on Sanzo.
"Don't let it happen again..." he whispered.

Sanzo brought a hand to the boys cheek and wiped the tears that trickled down.
"I..I promise Cyn-kun. I won't let it happen again....never again."
Sanzo turned Cyn around and looked at him, one hand still on his shoulder. "I'm going to ask her in okay...that way she can hear it from both of us...it's gona be okay Cyn-kun." Sanzo leaned foreward and kissed the boy on the forehead.
"One second please, don't leave yet Gwen-chan." Sanzo yelled towards the door.
"Could you help me put a shirt on Cyn-kun? I can barely move my arms as is."

Cyndir nodded wordlessly, as Sanzo called out the door, and he picked up the shirt Sanzo had dropped earlier. He sighed and wiped his cheek against his shoulder to rid himself of another tear that seemed to find its way out of his eye. He caugth sight of the tattered, blood-stained shirt on the floor near the dresser and bit his lip as he held up the fresh shirt. He couldn't stand looking at those wounds, and had to avert his eyes to prevent himself from getting sick.
"Sanzo-kun...you sure you're gonna be ok?" he asked softly.

"Yeah...ugh...I'll be fine...ugh...Thank you. Ahhhh"
Sanzo struggled as Cyn slid the shirt over his arms and across his back. The friction against the wounds made the shirt irritating to touch. "No...no buttons...it already hurts enough."
Sanzo sat down slowly on the bed, gingerly dropping onto the blanket. "C'mon,...ugh...sit here Cyn-kun, its okay...ahhh...I'd like you to sit next to me." He softly patted the blanket a few inches fom himself.
Sanzo turned his head towards the door and invited her in."Oi, Gwen-chan. You can come in now. Sorry for the delay."

Gwen had sat out in the hall, still blushing. She remembered how she'd felt when her best friend had first seen her sucking the face off her first boyfriend...This is a tender subject... she thought.It needs to be handled easily, casually...she thought. She heard her name called and slid up the wall and opened the door cautiously. She dashed inside, closing the door softly behind her and looked at Cyndir sitting on the sofa.
"Hiya!" she said brightly to him, he looked like he needed a hug. "You know what?" she said to him, "You definately need a hug!" she walked over to him and pulled him into a warm hug. "I know we don't really know each other yet, but hugs always make everyone feel better." She let go and smiled again. She sat down on the floor cross legged and gestured to Sanzo that he should sit beside Cyndir.
She looked from one to the other and expectantly at Sanzo.

Cyndir winced at the obvious pain Sanzo was in as he helped him get the shirt on. As he he called out to Gwen, Cyn gulped nervously, and had just been about to sit down next to Sanzo, when the girl came in, all smiles and cheerfulnes. He was abruptly seized and given a sound hug. Surprisingly, he smiled, and sat beside Sanzo on the bed. She wasn't...weirded out? By the fact that he was with another boy? The shock from that alone was enough to leave him speechless. With a sigh and a bashful smile, he leaned on Sanzo's shoulder. Testing the waters, so to speak. He looked at Gwen, to see what her reaction would be. Could it be that there were people that wouldn't harass him for it?

Gwen watched Cyndir tentatively lean on Sanzo's shoulder, and look at her watching for her reaction. "Awwww" she sighed. "You guys are so cute together!" she smiled at them. "Look I'm not a leper!" she added after seeing the look Cyndir gave her. "So, I take it this is new to both of you...?" said after a minute.

Sanzo couldn't help but blush as the girl smiled. She was actually embarrassing Sanzo nearly as much as Cyndir.
"Look Gwen, I really want to ask you a favor. What you saw when you first opened the door, could you...um...please not tell anyone."
Sanzo's head tilted to the side a bit as he stared at the girl from the bed. He wrapped his arm around Cyn's shoulders and shifted a bit of his own weight onto the boy. His back felt like it was on fire again.
"This is just as much for my sake as Cyndir here. You see, we've both been ridiculed about certain things in the past and well...I can't stand to see anyone mess with Cyn-kun, but at the moment I'm kind of...well...worthless to stop it. I can barely walk right now, let alone protect someone. It's just...well...we'd really appreciate it if you just...you know...kept this quiet."
Sanzo gazed at Gwen across the room waiting for a response. Had Cyn not been there, it would have been harder to explain. He hoped the girl would understand why he was hard pressed to get her silence.

Ariko ran out the door and a few doors down across the hall to Sanzos room. He knocked on the door and called out.
"Sanzo,...you up..., class in five minute man. C'mon Taiki-sama will tatter our asses, hurry up."
Ariko dare not enter Sanzo's room without permission. They may have been friends since damn near day one, but he never popped in without invitation.
"Chojin, I know your in there, I hear you talking. Can I come in at least, I feel like an idiot out here."
Ariko banged on the door, he wanted some response. Even a '******** off' would suffice.

Cyndir ducked his head, a blush coloring his cheeks as Gwen gave them such a warm smile. The tint grew darker as she said they looked cute together. A shy smile spread across his face. It faded though, as he felt Sanzo lean against him and admitted his current physical weakness. He looked up at Sanzo, concern in his eyes. He couldn't help but still feel a bit guilty, even if he didn't voice that sentiment. He looked at Gwen hopefully. She'd understand, right? She seemed so kind-hearted. Her comment had done much to boost Cyndir's confidence, but he couldn't forget the cruelty of his high school class mates, nor his mother's constant carpering on the matter.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Cyndir froze involuntarily, but relaxed again as he heard Ariko Sato from the other side. He looked up at Sanzo.
"You're not really expected to go to class...Are you? I mean...Detention...They wouldn't...." he said. He couldn't hide the blatant worry from either his voice or his eyes.

Sanzo looked at the door when he heard Ariko on the other side.
"Hmmph...gym...like I can even get there in five hours, let alone five minutes. Oi Ariko, come in, it's open."
The door opened and Ariko entered the room.
Ariko turned the knob and entered the room. He was suprised that Sanzo had guests, Cyndir was on the bed next to Sanzo, and that girl from the roof was here as well.
"Hey, didn't know there was a party going on. Where's my invite Chojin, lost in the mail? What's up Cyn-kun, you're up early. Hi there...um...Gwen wasn't it, you were on the roof last night right. Sorry I was such bad company, the stars always knock me out."
He looked at each person when greeting them, then turned his attention back to Sanzo.
"So, five minutes til class and your half dressed, I swear if I wasn't...you okay Sanzo. Why are you leaning on Cyn like that?"
"I'm not going to class today Ariko, I already had a 'meeting' with Taiki-sama in detention today. My back is ******** killing me, Cyn here is uh...just taking some of the pressure off me, I got the s**t beat out of me."
Sanzo pointed to the shirt on the floor.
"HOLY s**t SANZO!!! WHAT THE ******** HAPPENED!!! TAIKI-SAMA GAVE YOU YOUR PUNISHMENT!!! MY GOD, YOUR LUCKY YOU'RE ******** ALIVE!!!"
Arikos jaw dropped at the sight of the shirt, he was speechless. He picked the shirt up off the floor and held it in front of him. His eyes widened at the spots of blood lacing the shirt.
"Sanzo, I...I...I'm sorry Sanzo, this is...horrible."
