He nodded. "For a beggining student, yes, it is. You may add or drop certain classes, but you must have at least four. I'm not sure if there is a maximum or not, but you must have time between them all. I'm not sure how Hitsuga-san will alow the band program to happen. If you want to drop Phys. Ed for Music Theory, though, I'd much appreciate it." He smiled helpfully.

"Yes, I think I'd prefer Music Theory over Phys. Ed." Elizabeth looks up at her teacher, and returns his smile with a small one of hers. "Um. I had asked Hitsuga-sama about rules, and anything else I needed to know last night. She told me that today would be a better day to discuss that, as it was getting close to curfew. Should I ask her again today, or find another student to ask, or can you tell me about the rules?" Nervously she looked down at her tray, fidgeting with the silverware sitting on it.

He thought for a moment. "Well, I would say that Hitsuga-san or Yuromeshi-san, our Dean, would be the best people to ask. I'm a new teacher and I'm still learning myself. And, if you went to a student, you'd probably be mislead by them." He shook his head. "This is a correctional facility after all. Goodness, come to think of it, how did a sweet girl like you get into this aweful place?"

She nodded understandingly as he talked about the headmistress and dean, and how he was a new teacher. Smiling at the thought of being mislead by the students, she looked down when he asked her how she came here. "Well, my parents didn't like the people I was hanging out with, not that they were ever around to see my friends." Elizabeth scowled at the table. "I skipped school a lot, and my parents decided the final straw for them was when I was caught stealing." She looked up at her teacher through her eyelashes, trying to see his reaction.

He was surprised. Stealing? That was definately something he didn't see coming, but peer preasure can be an aweful thing. "I'm sorry, Shehan-san, I did not mean to reopen a wound. Don't worry, as long as you keep yourself in check, then you should have a pretty easy time here at Midori Kaizen. Just be careful, okay? I'm sorry, but I must leave now to do some work. Please excuse me."
He got up from the table and moved out of the cafeteria. He thought to himself "Well that's one member down, and I need about twenty-nine more to make a band. Dear me... why did I ever get drawn into coming here?"

She noticed the look of surprise on Nagenami-sensi's face. Everyone is always surprised when they find out I steal. I don't get it. "Thanks for the advice, I can't wait for Music Theory." As he was walking out, she realized something. She didn't know if she had to get official permission to change her schedule. "Damnit. And he's too far away for me to ask. I guess I'll risk it and not worry about it. Now I think it's time for me to find my way around this place." She cleared off her place and picked up her schedule and map. "Ok....looks like I have....Health first. Now where is that classroom?" As she talked to herself, she walked out into the hallways to find the rooms.

Nyas found her way to the cafeteria with little trouble, and she snorted to herself. For all that Renji-kid's warnings, security seemed pretty lax. Nothing compared to that Military School. She flipped her ID card into the air, and caught it as she came up to the food lines. She snatched up an apple and bit into it as she grabbed a tray and silverware. She looked over the food with hungry eyes, and finally decided on some french toast. She grabbed a cup of coffee on her way to the checkout line. The lunch lady scanned her card, and gave her a disdainful look.
"Where is your uniform, young lady?" she said haughtily.
Nyas looked at her as though she had just asked why she had turned purple. "In my room?" she replied in the same tone, rolling her eyes and turning away. She didn't see the woman pull a remote out of her pocket.
She was suddenly aware of a jolt not unlike the one she had experienced the day before, and she nearly dropped her tray. She turned and looked back at the woman with a glare.
"THE HELL! b***h!" she shouted, chucking the cup of hot coffee at her. It splashed over the bitter hag's lap and Nyas smirked at the scream of pain erupting from her lips. By this time, the cafeteria was silent as a graveyard. Nyas sat down sweetly at an empty table, completely oblivious to the other cafeteria staff pulling out a walky talky.

Miko had skipped into the caf. It really was her preferred mode of transportation. Skipping that is. She was a skipper. Most students gave her weird looks, and it grated on more than one faculty member's nerves, but she did it anyway.
She hummed softly herself as she loaded up her tray with donuts and fruit juice. One apple, one orange, one fruit punch. It was the way she started every morning. She stood in line behind some dark haired girl, obviously new. After all, she was still wearing her street clothes. Miko looked down at her green tinted sailor uniform and grimaced.
Miko snorted as the girl sassed the lunchlady, quickly clapping a hand over her mouth. The last thing she needed was to get in trouble herself, and the new girl was already asking for pleanty. She fiddled with the cat ears on top of her head , readjusting the headband and waiting for the lunchlady to get it over with and shock Nyas already. She didn't have long to wait, and true to form the cowardly old woman waited until the new girl's back was turned before she acted.
Miko gasped as the girl anfrily flung her coffee at the lunchlady, her mouth dropping open in shock. Was the girl brave or stupid? Either way, that one action had guaranteed her a loyalist in the form of Miko Nanahara.

The lunchlady that had watched the whole scene dial in security on the walkie talkie, just in time to hear the Dean's voice over the link asking for security to head over to the boys dorms. She sneered. Detention was going to be a packed house tonight. As soon as the Dean disconnected, she spoke up.
"When you're done there, get over to the cafeteria. We have a new one who just needs to learn right quick"
Nyas meanwhile, continued to eat her breakfast as if she hadn't a care in the world. And she probably didn't. After all, she had seen worse, hadn't she? She bit into her french toast, and noticed the girl with the cat ears staring at her. She gave her an appraising glance, then raised a brow.
"Oi kid, what are you staring at? And what's with the cat ears?" she growled. Kinda cute, she was. Nyas liked the childishness of her, and the pink hair was interesting, but the cat ears were a huge turn off.

Miko looked around before placing a hand on her chest.
"Me?" She blushed then, ducking her head. She had been staring? How humiliating. She quickly scurried over to the table and sat across from Nyas, setting down her tray in front of her.
"Sumimasen....I didn't mean to stare... I just...Do you have a deathwish or something?" Miko asked abruptly. Her eyes darted in the direction the scalded lunch aide had been. ?Don't you know what their gonna do to you?"

Nyas looked at Miko impassively and shrugged. Yah, this kid was definately cute.
"Nah, nor do I really care. Can't be as bad as military school." she said, waving her fork in the air. "I ditched that place so they stuck me here."
She shoved another bite of french toast into her mouth and swallowed seemingly without chewing. "It'll take a bit more than a few volts of electricity to break Nyas Aldhin. So, what's your name then, kid?"
She didn't notice the security guards come in, and talk to the lunch ladies behind her.

"Milatry school? Wow, you're a reall badass, ne?" Miko couldn't hide the stars in her eyes as she looked at the girl with obvious hero-worship. Nyas was just the type of person the Nanhara's had tried their hardest to make their youngest child avoid. How would they feel knowing they'd pretty much surrounded their child with the element they were trying to keep her away from. She giggled softly as she was asked her name.
"Nanahara," she replied. "Miko Nanahara." Her own breakfast was forgotten in front of her. It was like dining with a clebrity or something. She kept playing Nyas' actions over and over in her head, watching her throw the heated beverage at the woman who had jolted her. It was all so exciting! Miko swung her legs beneath the table, propping her chin on her fists as she smiled brightly at Nyas.

Nyas raised a brow at the girl. What on earth the kid done to get her sent here? She certainly didn't radiate the kind of attitude Nyas would have expected from a troublemaker.
"Badass? Um...yeah, I guess you could say that..." she said, shrugging. Well, that was probably the label she got, she admitted candidly. Not like it really mattered. "Parents got sick of me bein' right so they shipped me off to some bootcamp. I got sick of the drill seargent so one night I snatched a pair of wirecutters from the grounds keepers and left."
She shrugged again, as if going AWOL was an every day thing.
Finally, she grinned at the girl. "So, what a cutie like you do to get sent here?"
Before Miko could respond, a security guard approached her on either side. Nyas looked up at them, clearly annoyed.
"Miss, I believe you need to come with us now." one of them said. Nyas looked him up and down with a who-do-you-think-you-are expression on her face, and laughed. Her laugther was cut short by a sudden powerful jolt of electricity through her system. Once she caught her breath, she jumped out of her seat, pushing a guard aside as she did so. "THE ******** IS UP WITH YOU PEOPLE!" she shouted. She was brought to her knees with another shock. "Gah...wh-what is up with you b-bastards and y-your j-j-joy buzzers?" she hissed, hands at the collar around her neck. The guard watched her impassively, and upped the voltage. Nyas shreiked and her eyes rolled into the back of her head. When the charge stopped, Nyas collasped on the floor, twitching as the residual electricity charged through her nervous system. One of the guards turned to Miko and nodded at her as if he hadn't just dropped someone right in front of her eyes. His partner grabbed Nyas's limp body by the collar, and dragged her out of the cafeteria.

Miko was grinning, just about to reply when security made their unwelcome appearance. She groaned, softly at first at their arrival, then louder as Nyas began to backtalk them as well. It wasn't that it didn't impress her, it had definitely done that. It was just that Miko knew all too well what the outcome would be. She winced, covering her eyes as Nyas dropped to the floor. She lowered them just in time to see one of the guards nod her way before they dragged hr idol away.
"Oh....don't hurt her, onegai!" she wailed, shoving her tray away as she rose from the table on an impulse. The guard that had nodded to her turned back to shove away the approaching girl, sending her crashing to her butt an knocking her cat ears crooked.
"Now stay there like a good kitty, ne?" he chuckled, nodding to her again.
Miko watched them go, not daring to rise again until they had left the cafeteria. She then climbed to her feet, ignoring the buzzing and hissings of gossipping schoolkids around her. She dusted off the back of her skirt and returned to her seat at the table, frowning at Nyas' abandoned tray.

Cyndir entered the cafeteria in time to see a dark-haired girl being dragged away. Another new student? And she was already on her way to detention it looked like. He sighed and got some cereal and milk. e turned around, looking for a place to sit, and spotted a familiar pair of cat ears. He headed over to the pink-haired wearer and called out to her. He wondered breifly at the tray beside her. Miko never had anything but donuts and fruit juice for breakfast.
"Ohayoo, Miko-chan..." he said, coming up beside her. He tried to put on a smile, but wasn't quite sure if it was working. "What's up?"
