Heather had found a room eventually. She had caught Amkia after threatening to put him in a cage he did what he told and perched happily on her shoulder. She unpacked the little things she had brought with her, her flute, food for Amkia and a little more things the Heather rarely went without.
Picking up her flute and putting it in her belt she ran outside, she felt somewhat like dancing. She didn't notice anyone else apart from Amkia, then again he was always with her and hard not to notice. She stopped suddenly and chuckled happily, "Amkia, maybe we should find someone, make a good friend and go wandering?" She smiled as the canary chripped happily on her shoulder and rubbed his face against hers. The youngster sudden;y got a boost of energy, she wanted to look around, but with someone.
She paused and looked around, looing for anyone to go with her.

Menelie Noting Ro's jaded expression, Caroline elbows her gently. "You 'eard him, Rojiza. Tell 'im hello."Rojiza sweeps him the grandest curtsy she can manage. The coin skirt inside her knapsack clinks quietly at the movement. She smiles at Pierre, trying to be optimistic about the situation, but really. He's a boy. How fun could he be? "Here now, we've got more friends to come with us," Emelyn said, pleased at the sight of the rabbit-girl and her mother. Without prodding, Pierre ducked his head, gave a slightly obnoxious sigh, and said, "Hullo." "So ladies- where are we off to?" Em said, gleeful at the chance to be in a village. (One where people weren't trying to kill them or take their children.)

"Well, Ro and I havenae eaten yet--perhaps finding a fruit or bread vendor is in order." She smiles and puts an arm around Lesh briefly in a small side-hug. "Shall we?" Rojiza brightens considerably at the sight of Ani. She waves at her friend the rabbit-girl, thinking that today might not be so bad after all.

A noise sounded through the street. But only two souls were quiet, calm enough in their own peace to hear it. Heather and Amkia would be the only ones on this cobbled street to hear the noise. It sounded like a flute- some hollowed, haunting thing...
And it was coming from down a quiet, moss-covered alley near the inn...

Pan had come out of the inn, sniffing at the fresh mountain air and stretching at the glorious day. She carried a bag full of herbs, her horns hidden by a scarf and her hooves hidden by a skirt. She had planned to find some venders to trade of sale her herbs to.
Comming out, Pan had noticed Heather with Amkia. She smiled in her direction and waved, "Out for a bit as well now? Care if we go along the way together. I plan to try to sale some herbs but after that, I'm unsure what I want to do." Pan gave a wry smile at Heather reaching her hand to the canary hopeing to pet him and trying her best not to scare him.
"Hey there little bright sun." She cooed at the bird. "He's cute, what's his name? And he seems so tame." She gave a puzzled look, "Is he you know.. one of the fortunettes?"

"Hello..." Leshya'e smiled at Caroline and Emelyn, bowing her head slightly to both of them, "Oh yes, lets, I'm curious to see what this place has in store for us."
Anezka glanced back and forth between Pierre and Rojiza, "Hello..." Having not really seen much of Pierre since she was but a wee rabbit, she was a bit weary of him. Slipping to Shy's other side she gave a big smile to Rojiza, gesturing to her neck, showing the squirrel child that she still wore the trinket she gave her.

Heather had heard the strange sound, it wasn't anything unusual, a flute, one not that unlike her own but that tune, it was just, so, strange. She had been about to go down the alley when she saw the other and smiled.
Amkia put his head in the girls hand, he loved attention and it always made Heather chuckle. "You may come if you want, I was about to go down that alley, I heard something strange." She looked down there again and then turned back to the other, "This is Amkia, and yes he is." She smiled feeling somewhat proud to be his mother.

"Off we go, then! I'm starved," asserts Caroline, putting a hand on her belly. "Through the centre of town--that's where the food will be." She laughs heartily. Ro blushes shyly for a moment before returning to her normal outgoing self. She gestures to Pierre, a question in her eyes. She searches for a suitable gesture for 'name', but finds none. Sighing with a small frown, she resorts to mouthing. What is your name? she mouths slowly, hoping he understands.

"Ooh, food sounds wonderful. Maybe a sweet pastry? I could go for something baked- we've been so long without." As they walked along the street, Pierre answered Ro's mouthed question with a shrug of surprise. Why did she care?
"Pierre?" He said- more a question than anything else. "And you're... Ro-something, aren't you?" He didn't care if his mother heard him. He was being good, as far as he was concerned.

"You heard something strange? Like what?" Curiousity shined bright in her blue eyes. "Well, maybe it's best we go together. Hopefully it wasn't anything too dangerous." She didn't like the idea of getting in the middle of a band of theives and alleys seemed to be infested with them at times.

"Oh!" exclaims Caroline in response to Em's fine idea. "That sounds fabulous," she agrees, following Em's lead down the city street. Rojiza nods after committing the name Pierre to memory. Rojiza, she mouths. Ro-hee-sa. She really hopes he understands her. Correcting perceptions of one's name is quite difficult. Her ears perk up at the mention of pastry. Pastry....she hasn't had a pastry in forever. At the thought of a good almond and walnut tart....she smiles pleasantly to herself.

Heather smiled, "Amkia will peck their eyes out if anything happens!" She chuckled and stroked the canary cheerfully. "It was a flute playing so I doubt it would be theves, it was a strange tune though." She looked down the alley and sent Amkia down there first. "Come on! He will lead the way!" She then ran after the golden bird.

The bakery has a glass window filled with sweets, and a kindly, round baker with pink cheeks and a high pouf of dark hair piled atop her head. It is only two buildings away from where the group of gypsies with their children are...
If Heather gets down to the end of the alley... she will find the source of the noise. It is a small, wizened old woman, sitting, almost invisble, she's so slight- up against a dark wall... playing a shining pan flute. ((NPC- I'll manipulate her.)) Do Heather and Pan dare to approach her?
((X: If you don't find someone to rp w/, I'll give you some'ought to do, as well. ^___^))
