"I...I dont know what to do...I dont want to be hurt...but I want to trust you.." He moved foward a little but then stopped. "Ehh..."

"Nande?" He asked, "Why do we have to live that way?" the flesh doll's eyes became more aware and intelligent as it continued to speak, "Do we have no other purpose? Do we all have to....die?" whispering the last word quietly, his head turned back to look at the person taht he still held by his wrist.

Killian moved closer to the enterance. He got to the point where he was almost out then he reached out quickly and snatched some food. He quickly went back into the back of the opening.

Verloren's eyes shot wide and he jumped back

"How dare you, just because you live in a hole that doesn't give you the right to theif off others, especially when hes WILLINGLY offering you this food, for the love of ... I was just trying to help damnit. But to hell with ya"

Verloren stood up his eyes filled with hurt and he threw the food through the opening and stormed off, cursing himself, untill he bumped into the someones shoulder. He blinked and turned to apologise but they seemed to be in one heck of a hurry, Verloren furrowed his brow in concentration, the man looked ... out of place. a black suit white tie and shades, like the FBI or something, but he seemed, meaner, and he was quickly followed by another two one shouting "ANy sign of the boy here?"

ANother turning to call back caught sight of the empty box by the hole in the wall and raised his eye brow in satisfaction

"I think so ..."

Only his voice was cut off as he was thrown across the pavement by a powerful shoulder bardge from Verloren. Now he could see the kid was running from real people.

He looked at the other two and growled loudly standing between them and the opening ....

The man approached verloren slowly and spoke calmly

"Get out of my way kid, this isnt your buisness, hes just a bum"

Verloren growled again and lunged on the man, other people running screaming from the scene as a gun clattered across the pavement

"LEAVE HIM ALONE" Verloren growled again his voice deep and booming now as he raised his hand it becomming wider and the nails elongating as it slowly become a lions paw as he brought it down against the mans cheek leaving 4 deep gashes on his cheek as he lept at the other man and swiftly kicked his legs from under him and giving him a harsh backhand the muscles in his arm also changed providing much more strength enough to smash the mens head into the pavement and knock him out

Verloren looked at the boy and immediatly any violence in his features vanished.

"I do not know who they are, but i said id protect you, and your safe haven doesnt seem so safe anymore"

He reached out and grabbed the boy without another word

"We better get out of here before one of them wakes up, they'll have no idea where to even start looking, and ill cook you another meal"

He panted as he ran dragging the boy through the crowds toward the apartment block

Verloren lept a tight grip on the boys hand

"Oh hush ... would you rather i let them shoot you ... i thought not"

he ran into the building and up to the thrid floor quickly unlocking his door he practically threw the boy through as he locked it behind him and stood panting for a moment

"Uhhh .... bathroom is through there, go take a bath or shower ill cook you something, if after the bath and food you still wanna leave ... i cant stop you"

He smiled and went off down a small hallway into a large open area which was the living/dinning space, sectioned off in the corner was a small kitchen, there were three doors on the hallway two on the left one on the right, the ones on the left led to the bedroom and bathroom, these also had a connecting door, on the right was a spare room which was currently full of boxes of junk.

"Sorry bout the mess ive not been here long" Verloren called through as pans could be heard clattering about
