A lot of people I know read Obsidian Butterfly first, only to realize that there were other books before hand.
Which I'm doing my best to supply them. ^__^

*smacks forehead* I started with Cerulean Sins. It was only after I'd read Cerulean Sins that I realized there was a whole series. XD So I started over from Guilty Pleasures and read them in order BUT I had to skip over Obsidian Butterfly (my library didn't have it at the time) and go back to it once I had read Danse Macabre. I was so confused.

I started from the begging though I'm really tempted to skip The Lunitic cafe because I can't find a single copy of that book! I found one in Borders, but I had to get Circus of the Damned, and my dad payed for it. Now I bet that the book is out. Oh well. I'll have to keep looking and start getting the sirese in three's.

Dragon Queen Kimiko Ok, I'm a bad girl... who else besides me started in the middle of the series and is going back and forth from the newest to the beginning n back? I started with Narcissus in chains *flinches* don't hurt me u r never to do that again with anything else. it spoils the series once u get to an earlier book and start understanding the later book u started on. it's such a ruiner. can't, can't, CAN'T ever do that. but i'm just a big believer at starting at the begining of things. no worries, it's okay, i won't hurt u, just give u an ear full! biggrin

This is one of the few series I actually started from the beginning and was reading like 3 books a week until like NIC and obsidian and slowed to 2 a week so I finished the series fairly quick but my former neighbor introduced me to LKH with the Gentry series so I just had to read the Blake series too so she gave me NIC cause she did not like this set of books and I have been hooked ever since !! And today a customer at work told me the next Gentry book comes out in December and is something about Frost!!!! I'm like so excited about that since he is like #2 or 3 on my hot list in that series !!!!

xd I started in the middle because it was what my library had and I continued reading in a sporadic order. I think I read Guilty Pleasures after I had read most of the newest ones. It didn't really ruin the series for me, just clarified some random spots though LKH does a complete job of updating you on what happened in the previous book.

I'm bad too. I saw "The Killing Dance" and thought the cover was pretty. It took me years to figure out the shape on the front was a naked woman. redface 4laugh
