Do we Have to keep it in FF7's parameters? To be honest, my all-time favorite summon is Carbuncle, 'cuz if I was a summon, I'd rather protect my friends than fight their enemies for them. But if I HAD to stick within FF7, I'd go with...Phoenix, also. That's the only (somewhat) defense-minded summon that's coming to my mind.

my favorite summon is knights of the round but i also like bahumut zero but only for looks mostly.i also like hades i use it the most

Odin looks the best
Phoenixfire has the best power (specially while fighting the Weapons)
