The Quaffle struck Rey hard enough to nearly unseat her from her mount as it continued on its way through the hoops to score another goal against the Puffins. Rey was a bit dazed as she went to collect the ball. 'That'll leave a dandy bruise, I'm thinkin',' she thought as she chucked the Quaffle off to Alynn, who flew past her to collect it.

"You all right?" asked Alynn, as he sailed past Rey to grab the Quaffle. Last time he saw a hit like that was when a kid he knew got beaned in the face by a dodgeball. He caught sight of Rey offering a thumbs-up as he launched himself on a fresh drive on the Axolotl goals. He knew he was swimming with sharks here, so he raced up the pitch, getting a nice head start, before giving over the Quaffle with a shovel pass to Roxie
