there was a level of satisfaction to nailing Nuke with that move that Drako hadn't anticpated. The champ himself had been dropped with it several times, but never had he done the dropping. Now, however, he has to finish this.
Drako remains on his knees, reaching over to grab Nuke's hair to pull his head up just enough to start clocking him right in the forehead as he aims to open the Redeemer up this time

The fans that had booked tickets for tonight had actually hoped, possibly even expected, Nuke Fusion to come out on top tonight.
But as that Tombstone Piledriver connected, it was almost as if you could hear a pin drop in the entire arena. Drako essentially mounted Nuke and started to throw strike after strike.. and The Redeemer just wasn't fighting back.
The camera zoomed in on a child beginning to cry, his father pulling him in closely to shield him from what was happening. Nuke looked almost lifeless as the pummeling continued, and continued, and continued..

Drako eventually stops, only because it's time to see if his old foe is finally bleeding. And possibly because referee urges him back to check on whether he can stop the match.

The ref leans in to check, but .. still no blood. Nuke wasn't fighting back though, as his eyes slowly came to focus on Drako again.
"You.. you.. can still be redeemed.."

Drako kneels down to pick up the chair he'd dropped earlier.
"Redeemed? Sure, let's do that. You know, isn't there a god who swears his blood is redeeming? Let's see if that's just him or if a Nuclear God's blood will do."
The Harbinger needs Nuke up just enough to attempt to bash him one more time, the goal to absolutely wrap said chair around his head

Nuke looks up at Drako, who is now wielding a steel chair in hand. His eyes roll back again but he fights to regain his composure, forcing himself up on to his knees.
That's when The Redeemer opens up his arms, looking at Drako, and utters two words.
"End it."

Drako might have hesitated for a moment. It's weird, whatever is happening here. Then again, he said what he said and frankly he hates this guy. So he hauls the chair back and swings forward, aiming straight for Nuke's head with all the strength and frustration he'd been holding in since Backlash

The chair can swinging in, Nuke braced himself, but with open arms..
Crash!
The chair connected and The Redeemer dropped to the ground, his head bouncing off the canvas. The crowd were silent for a few moments as they tried to understand what had just happened, the ref sliding to the ground and checking Nuke.
Moving his head and neck carefully to the side, the camera showed a split across his forehead, which was dripping blood at a steady pace. The referee immediately called for the bell to be rung, signaling the end of the match!

the bell rings, revealing to Drako that he had succeeded. Nuke was once again bleeding at his hand, and this time, his hand alone.....well, his hand swinging a steel chair anyway. As his music hits the PA, Drako glances at the chair and tosses it to the floor.
"Here is your winner, Drako Damone!"
Standing where he is looking down at the Redeemer, Drako's expression is quite unreadable.
JR: The champion stands victorious here tonight over his long time rival in Nuke Fusion but is he done here tonight?
King: Maybe he wants to send a message before the title match at Survivor Series.
Adrian approaches Drako and hands him the belt, which the champion takes and looks at for several long moments. This was the very belt he'd used to bash Nuke's skull in months ago at Backlash. Could he be considering doing it again?
No, not this time. The Soaring Dragon has made his point as he steps away and heads up the ramp with Adrian behind him.
JR: It looks like the champ is satisfied with getting his win here tonight. I was expecting a Syndicate beatdown here tonight.
King: The statement is made, JR. Nuke Fusion is laid out and bleeding.
Drako stops on the stage and looks back down, the title belt on his shoulder. The Soaring Dragon is satisfied, a demon excised here tonight. Now he has to look forward to the younger fusion next month
