Grace stood up panting, using the ropes to support herself. She'd pulled it off and Christina was poised in a prime spot, center of the ring. Did she dare do it again. She'd never pulled off two shooting star presses in one night before. Was it worth it. If it connected she might be able to win the match.
But what if she hit it, and Christina kicked out. Would she have the gas to keep going after that? What if she missed. Doubt started to flood her mind when a voice rang out over the thunder of the audience.
"You got this Gracie! Get her!"
Candy was shouting for her, even as the bright red handprint turned slightly dark. She was rooting Grace on. She snapped out of her doubt, climbed up the turnbuckle, and checked that Christina was where she'd been left. Grace took a deep breath and launched herself forward while flipping backwards.
Grace could leap like a gazelle, and she took flight towards her opponent.

Christina was cursing her back as she lay there feeling the pain of the flip. As she thought of getting up, Grace crashed down upon her injured torso, completely negating every other plan in her mind.

Grace landed hard against her opponents back. Her plan had succeeded, she managed to hit her finisher again. Judging by the road of the crowd, they had loved it. Gritting her teeth against the pain, and pushing a body that moved sluggishly; Grace tried to roll Christina over into a pin.

Christina was rolled over and put in a pinning predicament.
"1..."
She wanted to kick out but she was wracked with pain.
"2..."
She was dazed an hurt.
Before the ref could land the hand for 3, the lights were shut off. The arena was plunged into darkness. The ref stopped counting, unable to see what was going on. Despite her confusion, Christina was glad that the sound of the mat being hit stopped.

Grace looked around in confusion. Everywhere she looked the only lights left in the arena were the cameras of the milling audience. They created a sparkling dancing field of starlight. She searched for the ref but couldn't find him, noting that he had stopped the count. Standing up Grace made her way towards the ropes facing the stage, if someone was coming it was likely from this direction.

The lights came back on after a few moments. Christina was still down but was starting to roll over and crawl, trying to get back in the fight.

Grace looked frantically around. There was no one anywhere, no one but Christina, moving again. Grace knelt down and flipped several buckles on her boots. He feet came free, unburdening her of their weight. She slipped out of the boot and climbed the nearest turnbuckle. She could do this, one more shoot star and she would put her opponent out.
Without the boots she had to climb the turnbuckle, but she didn't have the energy to run up them even if she's worn them. Without the boots, she believed she could make the dive one more and secure her first victory; and a step towards the championship.
She reached the top, crouched and focused on her target; ready to leap across the ring!

Christina felt dazed but her senses were coming. She was expecting another move at any moment but before it could happen, she was interrupted by the sound of music flooding the arena. On the titantron were images of serpents as the song House of 1000 Corpses blared out of the speakers.
Despite Ramona's music playing and her titantron now bouncing between snakes and highlights of her moves, the stage and the ramp remained empty..

Grace was confused and bewildered. Ramona's music hitting, the lights turning off. The same old fear that had cemented itself in her gut rose up. It sent a chill through her body snuffing out the fire that drove her. She scanned, searching all over but after finding nothing a notion returned to her mind. She turned and spotted Christina, and without thinking she pushed all of herself into one last shooting star. She soared into the air, unfettered by weighted boots it was easy to see why she went by 'The Flying Ace'.
Her aim was spot on as she flipped towards her target...

The distraction posed by the music was enough for Christina to start pushing to her feet. She managed to get up just in time for Grace to leap and flip at her. Instinct took over and she sought to counter it the only way that she could think of. Her best counter from the entire match. She tried to nail a superkick to Grace while she was in midair.

A kick to the head unaided is bad enough, a kick with the weight of a bodies momentum behind it is so much worse; landing face first into said kick in free fall is unimaginably horrible. Grace somehow both lost and remained conscious. Her entire body's momentum was reversed and she slammed hard on her back, a minor bump compared to the near religious experience she'd just gone through. She lay sprawled out on the mat, confusion lost to agony, and brought an arm up to block out the blaring lights that pierced her brain.

Christina saw an opportunity now. She had to take it. She would attempt to move Grace a bit to position her before climbing to the top rope if Grace didn't give her any trouble. Once at the top, Christina would let out a cry of victory before leaping and attempting to land a Swanton Bomb onto the downed Grace.

Any hope Grace had of winning the match ended with the super kick, the swanton bomb ensured that she would no longer be getting up in this match. Grace shuddered once, all the training she'd gotten on recovering from a spasmed diaphragm forgotten, Grace struggled to suck in air with lung that just wouldn't. All thoughts of breaking the pin were blasted from her mind until finally her chest relaxed and she could breathe but by then it was too late.
"...3!!" The final count fell, and the bell rang as the audience roared in delight!

Christina rolled from Grace and got up. Skeezy Steve slowly got into the ring, still sore from the previous attack, and raised the arm of his friend.
"And here is your winner...Christina....Sparks..."
Christina was about to start her usual post match celebration when all the lights went out again. When light once again returned to the Arena, they were red, bathing the place in a terrifying hue. Grace, Christina, and Steve were no longer the only ones in the ring. Ramona sat in a corner, coiled and waiting. As Christina turned to face her, she ran forward and the punk was leveled with a fast and a violent spear. Steve immediately checked on her, allowing Ramona to back up and ready herself. As Steve rose to confront her, he was drilled by a spear as well. As the punks rolled away and curled in agony, Ramona turned her eyes to Grace, downed and beaten from her match.

Panic rose in Grace as she rolled to her side and pushed herself up to a knee. The red lights saturated the ring and left a heavy ambiance. Grace watched helplessly as Ramona took out Christina and then Skeezy Steve. She would have broken and tried to run had it not been for Candy's appearance at her side. Grace's friend hit her in the shoulders and held on as they watched, anxious for what Ramona had in store for them.
"Ruh..ruh.... Ramona?" Grace stammered.
