an innovative counter to an old move, as Drako finds himself flipped and launched with a monkey flip. The champ couldn't say that he'd ever had that happen before and quickly attempts to get to his feet again

Cyrus spring back to his feet after landing a successful Leone family favorite, but Drako was up just as quickly. ******** it. Cyrus rushed at the Soaring Dragon, looking back the champion up with a series of haymakers!

Drako is rocked, once, twice, thrice, with haymakers from the slightly heavier challenger, driving the champion back against the ropes.

With the Dragon backed into the ropes, Cyrus would try to lift Drako onto the ropes to set the champion up for an elevated suplex powerslam.

Drako was already reeling and Cyrus is wisely taking advantage, lifting him onto the ropes and then up before dropping him with the suplex powerslam. the champion crashes to the mat and on the outside Adrian winces, clearly concerned at the new turn in momentum

The ring shook as Drako was slammed into the canvas. Cyrus was tempted to go for the pinfall there, but it was time to the people what they came to see. Rising to his feet, the Lion stepped over the ropes and began to climb the bars of the Power Dome. Cheers erupted from the fans as he ascended the cage. When he got to the spot just above Drako, he'd release his grip and dive into an elbow drop aimed at the champion!

after just crashing violently to the mat, Drako isn't his usual quick self, so he's down and prone. Unfortunately, he's a prime target for an off the cage elbow drop that he's moderately certainly killed him for two seconds with all the air it knocked out of him, again leaving him laying on his side gasping for air

The crowd went nuts after the King of Beasts drove his elbow into the champion! That one went both ways as pain shot through Cyrus' arm. He rolled to the side grasping his elbow. After a moment he finally shifted himself onto Drako, to make the cover.

the fans feel like they're going to get what they've been waiting for since Backlash as the referee drops to make the count
one....two...thre...
Drako narrowly rolls his shoulder off the canvas, keeping the title with him for the moment, though how much longer could be in question

Drako is off his game, not entirely sure of where he is. As the challenger pulls him up, the champion drops back to a knee, purposely struggling against the goal of his challenger. pulled up and his arms hooked, he drops down again with more intention, attempting to yank his arms free and swing the right one up for a hell of a low blow

Oh for the love of god, why?! The Lion's knees trembled and his entire body rocked after being struck below the belt. He doubled back a few steps before suddenly falling backwards into the canvas, holding himself in pain.

there it is, the cacophony of boos Drako had been waiting all night for. As the champ remains kneeling after dropping the challenger, a familiar smirk crosses his face. It was a close call, and he might not have been able to survive whatever Cyrus had planned but every man has the same weakness to exploit.
the champion pushes his hair back from his face and gets to his feet again. Time to make it worse. He would reach down to pull Cyrus up again, then again attempt the inverted atomic drop he'd gone for earlier but aiming for the same area he'd just targeted

Pulled back to his feet, the Lion was quickly picked up for another attempt at the inverted atomic drop. Sympathetic groans could be heard throughout the arena as he was dropped right on his groin. Bouncing off Drako's knee, he immediately hit the canvas as his legs gave out on him.

The champion had gotten exactly what he wanted there. Plus more boos from the crowd. But now it's time to get a little more interesting. The champ attempts to grab Cyrus' legs and aim to catapult him up into the cage wall face first
