As Drako predicted, Trent would begin to climb to his feet, but he was still feeling the effects from the punch. While slightly blinded and distracted from the fight, Trent would have been struck with a nasty super kick that would send him back on a trip to the mat

Drako isn't done there. His right arm is hurt, but he only needs his left arm to do what he has in mind. He quickly reaches down to pull Trent up, hoping he'd still be pretty much out of it, as he would aim to finish him with the Dragon Shot and go for the pin

Just like that, Trent was basically forced onto his feet and planted with the Dragon shot and covered
One Two Three!
Trent was out after the finishing maneuver of the champion! A technical great into a very physical match with a decisive win for Drako!

Drako rolls off the pin as his music hits the PA and the crowd cheers. The champ is still clutching his right arm as Trent had really done a number on it there.
"Here is your winner, the World Heavyweight champion, Drako!"
Drako rolls to his knees first, then pushes himself to his feet, careful to let the referee raise his left hand in victory and taking the world title in this right hand. Damn it felt good and the champ is on a roll now. In the past three shows, he'd beaten the boss, become world champ, then beat the boss up again and gotten a hard fought win against a game opponent. Can't get much better than that, even if his arm will be a bit stiff the rest of the night. As he leaves the ring, he's rather satisfied with that, but he still has to keep his eye on the main event later
