Angellen *gets pelted with sandwiches* Ack!! sweatdrop I rarely go skyclad, for a seeming opposite reason from others who refrain from it. I'm pretty thin; 5'5" and about 100 pounds. And, as a lot of my friends (I tend to hang out with an "artsy" group) are fairly anti-media... Well, let's just say that most of my friends are in favor of curvier folksies, and while I do agree, it's harder for me as I am NOT one of the curvier women. My self-esteem is pretty shot and has caused me much grief, therefore I'm not comfortable performing skyclad on most occasions. *shrug*

Though some prefer to go skyclad for ritual, as it makes them feel for at one with nature, I myself do not.

She was all around curvy, but she had a flatter, more toned stomach than most of the skinny girls! I thought that was the coolest thing. And plus, she had confidence, like you do, and that always makes people more attractive.

Lady Dao I haven't actually performed any rituals (a little hard to with the folks against everything I do, including wicca), but I just could not see myself comfortable enough to go skyclad. I'd prefer loose, comfy clothing. Mind you, I wear loose comfy clothing all the time. ^_^ I find myself Skyclad at night in bed, which is when i am usually overcome wiht energy and purpose required for rituals, so i do them there, on my bed, in my permanent circle, skyclad.

Siphe I read in a book talking about Wicca, you knbow that Solitary Practitioners one and its said when you perform rituals the best state to be in is Nakedness and I was like OOOOOOK. So then i thought i'd ask everyone about it! So does anyone here when doing rituals be Naked? Don't be shy! I am only doing this for knowledge not because i'm weird!!! stare A big part of the ritual nudity is because of Gerald Gardner, who would now be classified as a dirty old man. The "official" reason is to have nothing come between you and the Goddess while you're in circle. However, I think that if being skyclad distracts you (ow whoever you're working with, if anyone) then it is not bringing you closer to the Goddess, but creating a wedge between the two of you. I've been to many circles, and never once has anyone been skyclad. Most have been family oriented gatherings, actually. I've read that many covens practice robed. I've never even changed clothes for a working, as far as I can remember. Then again, ritual garb and tools are important to some people. It is generally accepted, though, that an experienced witch doesn't really need anything besides their intention and their will.

No, I don't. Unless I am alone, I really don't feel at all comfort going skyclad around people I see everyday. But I do know Gardnerians perform rituals skyclad. Also there is Alexandrian(spelling?) they are like Gardnerians in many way, but they are more lenate on the choice to go skyclad.

Heck, if I wasn't so afraid that people would look at my chest area, I'd walk aroud skyclad 24/7! But, alas, I'm cursed with double d's, and i might end up knocking some one out!! lol! And besides, my family would completely freak! My sister is the only one who knows I'm wiccan. Well, just make sure you just took a shower, and you are waering clean clothes, and i dont know, get a pair of moccasins! their really comfy, and guess what??!! ----- no ruber soles!!! Yay!!!
