Eirex ran as fast as his legs would take him with only one thing on his mind now. Doctor. Doctor. Doctor... Within the town's border, he completely ignored those who called out in greeting. leaving them confused until they saw Riya approaching with an unconscious son in her arms.

He smacked hard into the door of the doctor's office, but rebounded quickly and pulled the door open. "Help! They fell in the water!" he shrieked at anyone within earshot.

Reaghan managed to come back to the waking world when he heard his mother say they needed help. But he was so cold! He couldn't control the shiver that his body was doing now. It was violent and unchecked, making him feel tired as his muscles contracted and released in an over compensated way. He made a small noise to show he was at least awake but that was all he could manage as his yellow eyes searched slowly for his twin.


Hugs on the other hand, moved so that he was right up against Ergon. Nudging the man and trying to prompt him into moving. He'd been instructed to hunt him and now they needed to go home. The Perzi was not a fan of being out in the snow like this and he wanted the warmth of their house. He made a disgruntled sound and headbutted Ergon to gain his attention. Hugs hoped that mixed with a very grumbled yowl would get his point across.

Eirex barely heard his mother, still shouting until someone hurried to the lobby. A startled nurse took a moment to absorb what she was hearing and seeing before she spun to fetch the doctor and get a room prepared.

Now that someone was paying attention, nevermind the curious folk peering in the door from outside, he turned and saw his brother looking around again. "It'll be okay." He hurried over and pressed a hand to Reaghan's frozen cheek. "We made it. It'll be okay."

The doctor swept into the room and quickly but gently nudged Eirex out of the way so that he could scoop Reaghan out of Riya's arms. The other two looked well enough. "Did he get out on his own? Are you two okay, Riya?" he asked, wondering if they would need any other beds.

Reaghan relaxed a little when he saw his twin. Of course he heard his mother too. But the shivering wasn't under control. It made his eyes water up some. Why wouldn't his body listen and stop doing that? When the doctor took him from his mother he made a strangled noise but didn't have the energy to move his body. Everything was slightly painful anyways.


Hugs huffed when Ergon seemed to flop over. So he did what any other rational Perzi would do. He bit him. Or to be more precise, the beast moved in close, sniffing and nuzzling at the man's neck before locating the soft skin there and chomping down. A growl followed. He wanted to go home. Ergon needed to get up so they could go home. Movement needed to happen.

To show he was in a hurry he bit down on the man's hair next and pulled like he was trying to drag him through the snow.

The doctor winced upon hearing about Ergon. That wasn't good. Hypothermia would set in quickly if he'd been in the water. "You lot. Go make yourselves useful and follow their tracks to find Ergon," he called to those looking in. The group nodded and turned to leave. He adjusted Reaghan in his grip more securely and turned to head back to the rooms. "It would be more efficient if they had someone to show them the way.. but I know I cannot ask you to leave your boy like this." With a small nod, he hurried into the back rooms with his new patient to begin the slow warming process.

Eirex bit his lip and switched to hold his mother's coat hem again. Everyone was rushing around now, and he had calmed enough to know he should get out of the way of the adults now. "Mother.. Can I stay here with Reaghan?" he asked softly.

Reaghan tensed his whole body and tried to turn his head. It was slow going but he eventually got to see his mother and twin from where he was being held by the doctor. He listened to as much as he could but his mind seemed to catch up to things slowly.


Hugs snorted when he was called stubborn. The perzi was called that quite often and took it as a compliment since Riya often said it. If his earthling called him that then surely it was a good thing. The small beast moved around to behind Ergon and nudged him with his head to get him moving faster. Hugs knew that the sooner he got Ergon home the sooner he could be warm again.

Eirex gave Riya an appreciative smile. After another tug on her coat, he tried to go after where he had seen his brother get taken.

Instead, a nurse came through with a tray of mugs with steaming cups of tea. She gave Eirex a small smile. "Give the doctor a moment to work, sweetie. He's going to make sure Reaghan is stable and then you can go sit with him." She looked at Riya and held out the tray. "You must be chilly after such a trauma. Here, drink some tea and rest."

Eirex pursed his lips and peer up at Riya. "Do we have to wait? I want to see him now. He had his eyes open.."
