( ooc: Well I just made us move.... I want to keep this rp going and regardless of what Kao may have done in the dark my character could have ran into into the statue for all I know a dog or animal of any sort could have moved right past a statue without really noticing it so it really doesn't matter)
Kaida though about it for a moment and then glanced around. "Does anybody have a source for fire that doesn't involve an explosion?" Kaida didn't feel like blowing things up right now. All she wanted to do was see what she had run into and get the heck out of this darkened forest.

Edge took in to consideration what he had on him. "Well I have Flash tags and explosive tags which I use but other than that nothing which would give continous light for so long." He kept his ears open and considered briefly to use the Chakra Sonar technique but it would be a waste of chakra for now and he had to trust in his fellow team mates.

*as Kaida ran into the statue, an eerie feeling could already be felt rushing through the area as they entered...near-silent movements were made in the trees around them...*
*one of many puppets that emerged aimed its right arm at Kaida from behind, and shot a kunai at her from a distance...the kunai would not be soundless, but it can't be seen with just sight... another puppet aimed its left arm at Edge, and shot out 3 shurikens...*
*the statues seemed to be the key that unlocked the puppets...but which statue?*

(Okay, I think your starting to enjoy screwing with us way to much) Kinoru walked over to the nearest statue and started to feel around it (That means on it to) trying to find a button, or a switch, anything you didn't normaly find on a statue

*there was nothing unique about the statue that Kinoru touched...but shifting noises could be heard from the marble statue a short distance away...a smell of decaying wood seemed to be around the marble statue...a small creak could be heard as a puppet guarding that statue raised its arm at Kinoru, and a bowstring could be heard as a single arrow was fired towards him...*
((you'll see what I'm doing eventually...))

Kinoru ducked hereing the Arrow, then he called over Kao to guid him to the puppet and the statue. Before the got there Kinoru started to do and seals, then when Kao gave him the signal that the pupet was dead ahead he preformed a jutsu. "Dual Piercing Fang" Kinoru was aiming for the puppet, hoping that even in this darkness the jutsu would it it's tartget.

Kaida could hear the kunai coming at her and turned to look around with no luck in seeing it but with the luck that it had just bearly missed her making but a small rip in her clothing. "What.... She turned. "Guys move!!... She kept up against the statue she had run into which had been the marble one. "Kinoru... help us..." She couldn't see what Kin was doing nor could she know what he was doing just by sound alone and with the luck of something else she tripped and landed right against Edge causing him to fall with her allowing the shuriken to pass him by. "screw this." She cried out. "Edge give us alittle light... even if its only for a moment its enough...."

(You couldn't have heard the Kunai or the shuriken cause they made no sound, I heard the arrow cause it did make a sound. Plus if you ran into the statue you would have hit a pupet, and my jutsu would have hit you)

Edge could tell he was lucky to have Kaida make him fall from whatever was around. "Ok you got it." Using one of his Kunai he threw the tag into the air setting off the flash to give the others what light they needed to see what was around them at the time.

((ok...time differences and details missed as well...the kunai was "nearly soundless" and shurikens often create sound as they travel through the air, so the kunai and the shurikens were meant to be heard, as well as the arrow...Also, Kaida would have had plenty of time to dodge the kunai, go up against the statue, and then fall upon Edge being that Kinoru not only had to duck his arrow, which was fired after the kunai and shurikens, but also call Kao over to the statue, attack the puppet, wait for a signal, and then perform hand seals...so, everything is justified so far...okie? ^_^))
*Edge's light tag lit the area up for brief seconds, allowing Kinoru to confirm his aim with the addition of eyesight...However, as their eyes quickly adjusted to the light, mass amounts of puppets, with weapons drawn, could be seen rushing and falling upon them...*
*As Kinoru's Piercing Fang attack(Tsuuga)((not sure if Dual Piercing Fang (Gatsuuga) is even possible at the moment because Kao is not in a human form and not even close to Kinoru at the moment)) rushed along and destroyed the marble statue, the puppets immediately seemed to go lifeless, the weapons retracted within the puppets' wooden bodies, and they fell limp into a pile on top of Edge and Kaida...*
*Also upon the destruction of the statue, some vegetation a short distance away parted, revealing a path and bright daylight...As the light shined through, a tree off to the left of the newly revealed path once again had 5 circles engraved on it in a vertical line...the first circle still had an X on it, but the 2nd circle now displayed a newly cut check-mark...*

Eyes adjusting to the brief light she was almost terrified at the great number of puppets around them. She had landed slightly on top of Edge and moved herself off only to be covered by the lifeless wooden puppets as Kinoru had destroyed what seemed to be the source of their life. She made a funny sound and quickly pushed the puppets off of her to stand up. Glancing over in the direction of the vegetation which by the time she was on her feet had moved she stood there in awe.
"Look at the tree... the mark.. we passed this test..." She turned then and helped Edge up and looked around a moment for Kinoru and his pet. "Kin are you alright?"

Kinoru looked over to Kaida "I'm fine, I should be asking you that question. At least we past this time, come on, it's pretty obviouse we should follow this path" Kinoru walk out onto the path with Kao glad to be able to see again

Edge sighed at being covered by puppets. Thankful that Kaida helped him up he was glad that there was a check this time however it looked clear that each trap was a test for them. That could mean that the remaining circles were the amount of traps left to go through however that was merely a guess and he wouldn't put that to the test.
