Trent would get help back to his feet, but looked to pull a quick one on Kofi. Clutching the arm of Kofi, Trent looked to fall back and bring Kofi's head into the apron

Ooof! With the unexpected move by Trent, Kofi's head would bounce off of the ring apron hard as he fell to the ground holding his head!

Trent would begin to crawl backwards and lean against the apron. Staring at Kofi and regrouping

Kofi would crawl towards a near set of steel steps, still holding his head. That was a nasty bump!

The official would be at the 5 count as Trent began to fight back to his feet. Still maintaining eye contact on his opponent

Kofi would use the steel steps as leverage, crawling up them as he could hear the referee counting.

Trent would then lean back and roll inside the ring, beating the challenger inside as he began to make his way back to his feet

Around the count of 7 now, Kofi would crawl his way onto his feet, on the ring apron, and get into the ring through the middle ropes.

Trent would look to run up and strike Kofi in the head with a big swinging kick while he was entering the ring

Kofi was hit with the kick to the head, falling down to the mat covering up incase anymore attacks were incoming, he was in a bad position.

Trent would pounce on his opponent looking to land stomps on any exposed area. Showing a bit more aggression on this match

Kofi was hit with the stomps, trying his best to cover up as much as he could but was still taking damage from Trent!

The Champions killer instincts were coming in. He needed to show his dominance and had a lot to prove against someone like Kofi. Trent then dropped to the mat and looked to wrap a headlock around the grounded Kofi. Looking to bridge into it and wrench on the neck

Kofi would be trapped and bridged into the headlock but would instantly use his in-ring awareness to grab a tight hold of the bottom rope next to him!

Trent would keep the hold until the count of three, looking to get in the free damage before having to relieve the hold
