Larissa was happy that the Knight wanted to include her. She wasn't sure what they could do, but Knights were very interesting, so knowing more was helpful in gaining knowledge about them! Still, she didn't have much time to reply as the skeleton sent out it's attack, hitting her, and other creatures started appearing. Imbrium was attacking with both sticks and puns. Larissa wasn't sure which one would hurt more.
"I'm able to heal if anyone gets hurt badly!" She yelled out, hoping that she wouldn't have to use it. It was limited after all. But if anyone looked like they might be knocked unconscious or worse, she would be happy to use it on them and anyone else in the nearby vicinity since it could work at 10 feet.
There was no time to use her other attacks though as a Knight told them to shield their eyes and she did so without hesitation. She did not want to be blinded or whatever it was that the magic would do!
Tjilaki wasn't sure if the monster was taken damage or not. She searched for visible marks or of any hint that the monster was actually taken damage. She looked around for a bigger rock to throw at the monster.
She also kept an eye out on the others that were helping with the monster. They were of course new faces to her. She hadn't really meant any other senshi. Except for one and she was wasn't here in the group that was.
She hoped that Aokigahara was able to light a lantern.
When the monster roared in distress she nearly jumped in glee. Sounds like it was taken damage. Good. She didn't want to do any kind of early victory or anything of the sort they still got a long way to go.
She yelp when she heard someone yell for everyone to shield their eyes. She looked over to see very pretty women raising a staff in the air. She quickly covered her eyes still being conscious of where the monster was.
Tjilaki felt like someone was guiding her. Someone was lightly pushing her onward toward the monster. She picked up a much bigger rock than the one she had before and flung it toward the monster.
As Hydor straightened himself out and readied himself for another attack, it didn't miss his notice that some other super toed the edge of the path. There was a moment where he pondered if, despite Aokigahara's warnings, they were going to lose someone to the creepy ******** woods anyway. "Watch it!"
He didn't get a chance to make any further commentary before more s**t happened, s**t that actually affected him, and he stared with wide eyes as a literal ******** ghost appeared and started wailing at him.
"Yeah, we're working on it!" Hydor gestured around them at the giant skeleton. "Maybe you should get out of my goddamn way!"
They only pleaded with him more, which drew further frustration.
Getting into an argument with the spirit who seemed more interested in screaming at him effectively derailed him from being of any use.
Of course, lighting the lanterns made the skeleton angrier and made it start summoning s**t. He didn't necessarily expect the first shot to come flying at him as one of the initial targets considering he kept himself at a distance but realized that perhaps it was fair enough as the shadowy energy hit him in the chest. At least it didn't hit Basiluzzo--
"I'm fine!" he shouted in response, rubbing at his chest as he regained his balance. "Just watch yourself, Ar," he sucked in his lips, "Basi."
He felt another energy in his veins, and he glanced toward a senshi who howled at the sky before charging forward. He was going to guess that was Skoll of the Skoll's Pack Offense-- "Thank you!" he shouted over to her, before turning his attention to the skeleton.
Alright.
He found something bigger on the ground, squinting at the skeleton before hurling it with the strength his build and his level provided him. Combined with the boost from Skoll, he let out a whoop when he realized that was going to leave a mark.
DMG: 3 + 9 (Cybele!) = 12 (just gonna count the first rolled dice there dfgdfg)
Viatrix bounced back and forth on her paws, staring up at the skeleton and growling at it in the way only a cat could threaten. The spirits and the energy flying around didn't seem to bother her, though perhaps that was partially because her attention was more focused on her Charge of the Day, Anser.
She felt suddenly much faster.
Even for a cat.
She growled up at the skeleton, jumping up and slashing at it.
-- Wait, did Anser recognize the source of the boost?
She remembered the way she and Cybele had worked together to see if their powers would combine in any way that was interesting; in the end, Cybele's power combined with Anser's to make her the most agile and aware she could possibly be. Her eyes widened as she felt that sensation again, and the skeleton was nearly forgotten as she looked around for--
"Cybele!!" shouted Anser over the din, jumping up and down and waving in her direction.

Monoceros startled a bit at Hydor's exclamation, smiling sheepishly at him and mouthing a "sorry". It wasn't like he wanted to go get lost forever or anything like that, but knowing his brain, it was better to give himself a toe of temptation to jumpstart the part of his brain that actually enjoyed self-preservation over intrusive thoughts/impulses. Get the fear response really cemented before he did something stupid like actually step off the path. And then learn the very hard way, forever. Learning the hard way was one of the only ways he could convince his dumb brain to shut up most of the time.
Not that there was any time to explain that, nor did he think he owed such a thing to this guy he'd not met before, but if it came up later, at least he knew what to say.

Dark shadows burst from the monster as their attacks pounded it, shooting out to strike at the people who had hurt it. Ida felt one smack her square in the chest and she staggered, hands pressed to her sternum. Her breath wheezed as she struggled to stay up right and draw a deep enough breath.
"God damn it..." She groaned, her mouth pulled into a grimace. There were others shouting around her, and while some where pained, as hers had been, it didn't seem to have damaged their spirit any. She could take heart from that... they were all still fighting. A familiar call warned her in time to throw up an arm and Ida looked away as a blindingly bright light flashed from an upheld staff. It took moments for the starts to clear, enough that the senshi wasn't sure she could attack without accidentally hitting someone... so her magic would have to wait.
Bending low, she scooped up a large rock and tried her best to judge where the monster way by the sound it made, aiming high enough to maybe arc it above the heads of her fellows... Ida threw it as hard as she could, her body still aching.

MONSTER HP: ???/??? [hp will be revealed after a certain point….]
The spirit that accosted Hydor looked befuddled, for a moment, at his reactions, and then smiled. They--for it was difficult to tell much about them--reached out, and touched his shoulder, and vanished into little pinpricks of light. Hydor would find himself overcome with a feeling of warmth and courage.
The great skeleton, though, roared its anger, as Aokigahara darted to the next lantern.
Two lit. Three to go.
That clearly made the monster furious, and as lights danced around the combatants--perhaps the remnants of whatever other energies sought to help or harm--it leaned back, and for a moment, everyone present (or everyone living, at least) would feel as if the air was being sucked out from around them, before the monster let out a billowing cloud of dark, clinging fog--fog that smelt of rot and choked anyone who breathed it in. Even Aokigahara, skidding in next to the third lantern, fumbled with his long sleeves to cover his face.

Oh. The girl definitely knew her. She was waving and calling Cybele's name, which really left all of the ambiguity out of the situation.
Cybele sort of half-smiled over at her. She'd known that something like this was likely to happen eventually. She just wasn't sure how to process the wave of mixed emotions that was very quickly washing over her while simultaneously fighting a giant skeleton.
At least she was saved from having to think of something to say as the monster breathed out an awful, putrid fog. It crawled up her nose and throat and left her choking and coughing and not thinking much at all about what the teenage senshi's name might be.
Then, even that faded into a certain stillness. It was an odd feeling, not quite like her magic, but Cybele could not help but think that there was something else in the air, something trying to help her.
Holding up one of her talismans, she swung at the skeleton again.
