With class over for the day the young Uchiha would continue with his training as promised. There were a few tools that needed sharpening and with things being quiet at the academy for the moment and no extra work from his instructor, He’d figure now was the perfect time to freshen up on some needed training. Heading to an area away from the obstacle course, rather the outskirts of the academy he’d arrive at a lush scenery hidden away from the public. A secluded area He had found since arriving at the academy. It wasn’t the best training grounds for large scale techniques but it did have its benefits when training other techniques including his shuriken Justu.
“Even if grandpa and mom isn’t here to scold me through my training I won’t forget about my daily routines they drilled into me. I can’t forget what I came here for” He’d think to himself calmly while gathering target boards around the area and placing them throughout the landscape. “I have to get stronger not only for their sake but mine, I need Power to protect those that matter too me and if I’m going to achieve that type of power then I need to work” His thought continued. With the target boards set up in different areas in the forest it was now time to begin. Focusing chakra through one of the lightning seals on the palm of his hand a kunai would appear instantly before him as he caught the small blade in his left hand. Eyes darting to his left as his head turned simultaneously as well. The long haired Uchiha would bring his left arm across his chest then outward as he flung his metal weapon in a straight line towards the target. The metal kunai would whistle through the air before arriving at its mark with a loud thud. “Bullseye” He’d declare with his hand still drawn towards the board as he had hit the target directly in the center. Preparing for another maneuver the Uchiha would crouch down before yet again utilizing the lightning seal technique to bring forth 3 shuriken’ for each hand. Still in a crouching stance While holding both his arms crossed before him. Tengoku would propel himself into the air in a flash, once in the air the young male would flip his self upside down then into a circle motion as he threw each Kunai towards their target while being upside down. Upon landing on the ground back into a kneeling posture Each kunai would thud upon collision with the metal equipment being stuck in the center of their bulls eye. He was getting better at manipulating his ninja tools and his aiming was improving as well. Practiced ▰ Uchiha Art: Manipulated Shuriken Technique
Rising from his kneeling position again, The young Uchiha would extend his hands outward toward his sides. Once doing so 2 kunai would appear again from his palm area instantly. Bringing his arms back across his chest the Uchiha elbows would bend before hurling 2 kunai forward towards their target. The kunai would travel in a wide curve on opposite side of each other as they intercepted the target board in a pincer formation “Clack”. Practiced ▰ Mirror Throwing | Rank X | Simple
With majority of the targets in the secluded area being filled with kunai and shuriken, there was now just one target left. “ The last target huh, maybe I should’ve brought out a bit more” he thought calmly as his eyes glared at the last board before him. Placing both hands together he’d began channeling chakra around his body that took the form of a thin layer of unseeable chakra. This technique was something for protection purposes and for what he had planned next. Practiced ▰ Flame-Resistance Technique E rank
Once the fire protective silhouette finished forming around his body, He’d extend out his right hand once more as 3 shuriken appeared instantly between his fingertips.”Although I’ve only practiced with this technique a couple times l think I should be okay. Just don’t let the flames get outta control and burn the forest down.” he’d note to self as the young male took a deep breathe before exhaling “Here I go!” Bringing his right hand across his chest he’d launch the 3 metal projectiles in a radial formation. Upon their release the Uchiha would then breath flames onto the metal equipment as they were now coated in black flames approaching the board. Once connected with the target, the board would explode causing minor debris within the area. ”Alright, Guess I’m a natural when it comes to molding chakra with equipment” He’d suggest With a satisfied smirk as the young uchiha was happy with the results of his hard work. Haven’t used that much chakra the young Uchiha once more would continue with his training. Focusing now on non elemental techniques he’d began to form hand seals while molding the right amount of chakra for his technique. ” Ram, Tiger, Snake” he’d recite a couple times as once his phrase ended and the final hand seal was made a doppelgänger of himself would emerge from the smoke before him. ” You can count on me to give it everything I got Tengoku” the clone declared confidently before his master while giving a thumbs up. The clone although a perfect replica of the young male was more hospitable than the aloof boy causing a slight sigh as he folded his arms before him while still observing the doppelgängers features as it eventually started to mirror Tengoku in his observation. He had successfully made a clone of himself somewhat. Practiced Bunshin no Jutsu | Rank E
Building off the clone technique he’d try for something a little more difficult, the transformation technique. Requiring some focus before attempting, he’d take a deep breathe before exhaling calmly to relax himself as well as his body. Once in a clear mind state the uchiha would then began weaving different hand seals together ”Dog, Boar, Ram” he’d mutter too himself while upon completion the doppelgänger before him would now poof emerging from the smoke as his academy instructor ” You can count on me to give it everything I got Ten-“, ”Shutup, You don’t have to say that every time you appear” He’d cut the doppelgänger off while rubbing the back of his head in a embarrassed manner. He’d need more practice with his clones. But for the most he was satisfied with his results even if there were some discrepancies in the instructor clone features, the transformation technique was still a success. The clone would later disperse leaving the long haired boy too himself for a while. Practiced Henge no Jutsu | Rank E
It was beginning to become late as the sun was starting to fall over the hidden valleys mountains, The young uchiha would yawn as he stared off into the sunset and his yawn was soon followed by a growling stomach. He had lost track of time and was starting to get hungry ”This should be enough for today”he’d suggest while placing a hand on his abdomen. Deciding that this is all he’s capable of doing for time being he’d conclude his training for the day and rest up. Once all his tools were gathered and any mess he had was cleaned up, Tengoku would began to channel chakra through his legs as once the right amount was gathered the young male would almost seem like he disappeared leaving only leaves were he last stood. Moving through the village at blinding speeds. Practiced Body Flicker Technique [ Shunshin no Jutsu ]
A lone black cat made their way into Tanigakure's Academy from atop one of the outer walls surrounding the area. The feline gracefully landed on its feet, like most felines do, bounding off across the Academy floor, past a couple of classrooms. It was mysteriously empty here, for a place of learning. Not many teachers or students to be seen within the cat's point of view. This area was of particular interest, due to a certain caretaker's alluring claim that this was the perfect place to make 'friends'. Whatever those were, they sounded wonderful. So here the cat was, to find out how much truth there was to this claim.
Stalking into a building, the feline's body would suddenly morph from a cat into a small child. Their emerald green eyes scanned the empty classroom for any signs of life, the corners of their lips curving downwards slightly at the realization that no one was around. However, a shelf lined with books and scrolls caught their attention. Not because they intended to read them - though, they would surely give it a good attempt - but it was simply something they could get their hands on. Tao's ears flickered in curiosity, their tail waving thoughtfully behind them, as if they were contemplating what to do. The decision was made shortly after to approach the shelf. Several of the books were pulled out of the shelves, followed by scrolls. Eventually the feline-child would find themselves surrounded by reading material, sprawled out on their back with a book in hand.
Brows furrowed as Tao tried to piece together what was printed inside of the book. Their reading wasn't the greatest, and unfortunately they could only make out a few of the words. It didn't take long for them to toss the book aside and pick up a scroll. This scroll contained various pictures of figures performing specific actions. Hand seals, movements, and the like. It interested Tao enough for them to sit up and cross their legs, bringing the scroll closer to their face. Though the scroll was being read upside down, the pictures inside of the scroll are what interested Tao the most, the end of their tail swishing back and forth excitedly as their eyes took in new images of the many figures drawn on the scroll.

“Hmmmmm….” Kotone rubbed her chin thoughtfully. The girl was bent down, hovering over a singular paper tag placed on a table. She squinted her eyes at the paper as she hummed to herself. The lab at Tanigakure Academy was empty… as far as the Genin knew, so she was making use of her free time with some light experiments. Learning how to use kaifu paper had been briefly touched upon in her studies in the academy, but she felt like there was something more to them. So today she was going to test them to their absolute limits.
Kotone tapped the paper a couple of times with her finger, eliciting a few dull thuds from the table underneath. She let out just a fragment of chakra from her finger into the paper, using the seal to store some of her chakra inside of the paper. It was a tiny amount, resulting in a few light sparks of electricity that fizzled out in less than a second. “Hmmmmmm.” Kotone pulled out a notebook and began to jot some notes down. Some quick math regarding chakra input versus energy output. She snapped the book closed and pressed her finger to the paper, channeling more of her chakra into the paper. Kotone tested the minimum amount of chakra in order to pull a reaction from the paper. But now she wanted to see how much it could store. So the Genin began to gradually pour chakra into the paper, closing her eyes to focus the energy. She was focusing intently, not paying attention to the reaction in the paper as it began to generate a field of arcing electricity. The paper began to ignite into flames at the corners as the chakra began to build and build. It wasn’t until Kotone could smell the burning that she opened her eyes. “Uh oh…” she whispered, moments before all of the chakra exploded from the paper.
The resulting blast sent the girl flying out of the lab, forcing the door to slam open violently. Black smoke billowed from the lab as Kotone collapsed against the wall across the hall, covered in soot and smoking lightly. She groaned and sat up against the wall gingerly, and then pulled out her notebook and began to jot down more notes before resting her head against the wall, letting the coolness soothe her head.

It had been a fairly normal day out and about in the Tanigakure academy. Like many other ninja of the village, Iori had been out and about getting a head start on the day. They had been fairly restless today, with little to do after their morning training and exercises that kept them entertained. A bunch of push ups, sit ups and every other imaginable kind of "up" that a ninja could do! They roamed through the halls of Tani academy while dragging their feet as they awaited for something to do. A couple of students would run by them, busy fussing about as the group stumbled their way to class. A bumbling third person would bump into Iori, sending the contents of his arms all about the way. Books and papers were strewn about as Iori was just...sort of there. They looked down at the student and would offer a smile down at the child. Soft hands went to gently gather up all of the books and things for the academy student. Putting a hand on his head as the boy looked up at Iori. His hands moved in a silent arrow towards the door, with the boy's savior watching as he scurried behind his friends. Iori watched with a warmth in their heart, happy they could be a hero to at least one person. They beamed to themselves, placing their hand son their hips while striking a smug pose to nobody in particular. They continued to their heart's content onto their next big task!
At least until the room besides them exploded.
Iori was blown into the back wall, feeling a heavy weight slam into their front while stunned from the incoming explosion. After the ringing ceased in their ears, the person would get off of the stunned Iori, the void shinobi shaking their head to get their focus back on what had just happened. That person was just walking away could be hurt! The swordsman pushed themselves off of their seating place and stormed in front of the girl. They whistled to gain her attention, before reaching for the scarf around their neck and gently reaching to clean their face the best they could. A bit intrusive, but Iori at least wanted to make sure that the girl was alright. Iori silently pointed to their mouth and shook their head, introducing their self muteness and then making a cross with their fingers, then pointing to the girl with a shrug, asking her if she was in need of a medic.

Tao miraculously was able to discern some of the contents of the scroll they read, despite it being upside down. The feline-child had been so engrossed in it, that they were completely unaware of the small crowd of students entering the academy. That was until a sudden explosion caused a powerful quake in the area, along with its thunderous boom that shook Tao out of their concentration, shooting up to the ceiling in their feline form, clinging to the ceiling.
Looking around, wherever the explosion was, it wasn't in this room. Everything appeared relatively safe, save for anything that might have been loose on the shelves and tables that were now all over the floor. Like any cat should, Tao released their death-grip on the ceiling and fell gracefully upon their feet. Their tail swiped at the scroll they were reading, grasping it firmly to bring it along while they investigated. It was probably none of their business, and generally, people seek to move away from sudden explosions. Tao's curiosity would get the best of them again, however, as they stalked out of the classroom they were in, into the open academy area.
Immediately upon exiting the classroom, it wasn't hard to notice the large mass of black smoke billowing out of one of the classrooms down the way. There were two others outside, one of which looked a little worse for wear, yet carried on as if nothing had happened to them. The black cat that was now watching these two Genin approached them directly, slipping between the young swordsman's legs so they were now standing in between both of them. The cat looked up at the boy, then turned to face the girl who was sitting against the wall. She was writing something in a notebook. If Tao was more confident in their reading capabilities, they might've been more interested in figuring out what it was. That, on top of witnessing the soot that covered most of her body, and the smoke raising off the girl, was a clear sign that she may have been caught in the explosion.
Listening to the advice of their caretaker, Tao was going to attempt to 'be helpful and kind'. It was likely meant to help the otherwise lonely child to make friends in the academy, but truthfully it was a reminder to Tao to use their 'gifts' to heal people. They'd do their best to live up to the caretaker's wishes. The cat before the two Genin suddenly shifted into a small child, bearing feline ears and a tail that wiggled enthusiastically in greeting. Without any further warning, they'd approach Kotone, should she let them, placing their palms on their arm. A gentle pulse of chakra emanated from their hands, throughout Kotone's body to reveal any possible traumas - internal or external - to Tao.
Whether or not they were able to discern any additional info from the diagnosis, Tao continued by removing the soot that covered her. Their hands remained on Kotone's arm, and for the most part hadn't moved a bit. Yet, the soot disappeared from the Genin almost like magic, along with any other dirt or residue that may have made contact with her. She'd be as clean as she was before the explosion, if not a little cleaner. On top of that, by the nature of their touch and the cleansing ability they used, Kotone received a rush of adrenaline, through an increased circulation of her blood and breathing that could aid in the prevention of any further diseases for a brief time.
Afterwards, the feline child removed their hands from the Genin, stepping back and falling on their rear. Tao sat, clinging to the scroll they carried with them. Their head tilted slightly, examining the girl curiously, likely speculating her new condition.

The wall behind her head was nice and solid, a cooling pressure against the ever growing migraine. The rest of the wall, however, was… soft. It was a surprising cushion that kept Kotone from being injured too much. The blonde girl groaned and slowly began to roll to her feet, but was stopped when a whistling hit her ears. It was quiet, but sharp, and relatively close to her. It made her jump as a small squeak escaped her mouth. Her hand flexed, squeezing whatever was cushioning her from the wall, as she whipped her head around for the source. “Ah!” Her brows shot up as she finally realized that she’d been flung into another shinobi. Kotone jumped to her feet, covering her mouth with one hand as the other reached down to help the other Genin to their feet. “Ohmygosh I’m so sorry, are you okay? I tooootally didn’t mean to crash into you like that!” She explained in a rushed manner, so fast that it was almost impossible to make out what she was saying. “I just had a reaction in the lab and was stronger than I thought! Like suuuuper strong! Like super, duper, extra strong! And then BOOM!” She exclaimed, waving her hands above her to articulate her point.
Kotone paused once the new shinobi started to play charades. “Oh! No, I’m fine, I'm fine.” She waved away their concern with a slight laugh. Then the girl tiled her head, looking at them with a puzzled expression. “What about you? You took a pretty big crash there.” Before Kotone got her answer, she was met with a tugging on her sleeve. The girl looked down and saw, she presumed, one of the students at the Academy. “Wha-” She managed to breathe before the girl felt chakra flowing into her. It was refreshing, like a cold stream. Yet it somehow energized her like a coffee, giving the hyperactive Genin an un-needed energy boost as her pain and fatigue faded away. Kotone stretched her arms above her head with a small groan before she turned to thank the small… cat child. “Thank you very much.” The blonde bent down, resting her hands on her knees, as she praised the young cat with an enthusiastic nod. “Medical jutsu is so freakin' hard, and you pulled it off with aplomb. Consider your first patient success! What's your name?” She grinned, tilting her head to the side.
“Out of the way!” A boisterous voice shouting from the hall made Kotone rise and turn, just in time to see a man rushing around the corner. He was big and muscular, with a hard jawline, and dressed as a Chunin would be. “I heard an explosion! Is everyone alright?!” He yelled, resting his hand on the wall as he caught his breath.
“Yeah, everyone’s fine Coach. There was just an accident in the lab.”
“Good.” The man called Coach rose to his full height (a staggering six foot five) and crossed his arms, doing his best to look like he commanded authority. “Now I just need to find my assistants.” He grumbled. “A few of the Genin are supposed to take their graduation tests today, and my helpers are nowhere to be seen. Probably eloped or something…” He muttered that last bit.
“Do you…” Kotone hesitated, shooting a glance at the student she’d crashed into. “Do you need some help?”
"Would I ever!" Coach replied, his energy level shooting back up. "If you two are doing anything, can you help me run the tests?"

The warmth of Kotone on their lap was enough to cause Iori to redden in embarrassment. This was about the closest they had been to a girl! Did they always smell so good? And feel like a heated teddy bear?! By some miracle, the girl did manage to slowly get up off of them. The whistle, however, did catch the blonde by surprise as she jumped in surprise. Iori felt her grasp tighten around their body as she squeezed before meeting their gaze. The ninja blinked as they locked eyes for a moment before the girl finally let them go after jumped off in surprise. Iori pushed them off as a dull pain became known in their head. At the girl's question, they would hold both hands up to try and calm things down some. She was frantic, talking so fast that Iori had to slow down what she had just said in their mind to fully register what she might have said. The poor aspiring ninja had to back up and waited for her to finish before giving her a thumbs up in response. Their little introduction was interrupted as a much smaller target, a boy with cat ears on his head, would make himself known to both parties. Iori looked down to watch the little guy go about performing some kind of medical jutsu on the girl. She appeared to have been refreshed by the effects, though it had always confused Iori. Nevertheless, the effects were a welcome gesture to her.
They kneeled down and offered the kid a quick pat on the head, with Iori smiling at them before sudden shouting down the corridor caught their attention. The blonde jumped and went to then gaze at whoever was coming towards them. A wide spread, well built man quickly approached the group with an expression of worry came barreling through. He seemed like some kind of academy teacher or something, though they couldn't say for sure. The void swordsperson did feel a little dwindled from the height difference between them. The girl from before looked over to her and asking if Coach needed help with replacing his helpers that had gone missing. Having nothing else better to do, they shrugged with a smile, quietly nodding to the blonde, as if it say, I don't see why we shouldn't help.

From behind the towering figure known as Coach, a smaller frame quickly approached the site of the lab explosion. Black hair bobbed with each foot that feel in their full sprint through the halls. Coming to an abrupt halt a few feet directly behind the Chunin, the new arrival stiffened his posture and proclaimed in an elevated tone of voice: "That was loud! Is anyone injured?"
Passive Effects: ▱▰▱ Boy in the Bubble | No matter the context it is being used in, whenever Dabi begins molding or using his chakra in any fashion, his sweat glands begin to release water (not sweat) in the form of lightweight bubbles that expand on his skin and rise into the air. ▱▰▱ Black Lightning | Raiton techniques are black in color, have disintegrative properties, and impart full body paralysis equal to the rank of the technique if 10 chakra is added to the black lightning per rank. Ranton techniques become naturally paralytic at no extra cost. ▱▰▱ Conductive Destruction | Ranton users are masters of their elements so one Raiton and one Suiton ninjutsu can be self-Koraboed for only one offensive activation. This ability can only be used once per three posts. If both Raiton and Suiton techniques are used in the same post then they are all reduced by 5 chakra per rank of the technique.
Kotone's praise brought a big smile to Tao's face. They couldn't really explain how or why healing others came so naturally to them, only that this 'gift' should be used to help others. It felt like they did just that, giving Kotone's reaction, and their diagnosis providing no further details on her injuries. When Kotone asked for their name, Tao paused for moment. They looked to the surrounding soot covering the ground, twirling their tail about before delivering a couple precise strokes, spelling out "TAO". The cat-child spun, expanding their arms in a grand gesture as they introduced themselves. They were capable of writing small words at the very least, which Tao would continue to thank their caretaker for.
Iori, a boy that accompanied Kotone gave Tao a pat on the head that caused the cat-child to open their mouth in shock. Something about the gesture made them giddy with joy, Tao hopping up to their feet, and body visibly vibrating. Their tail started to spin so quickly, that it propelled them off of the ground, arms and legs wiggling ecstatically while suspended upside down. That was until the sudden arrival of a rather large and muscular man appeared on the scene, yelling loudly. It scared Tao out of their excitement, falling to the ground below right on the top of their head. They were... surprisingly sturdy for a small fellow, for if the short fall did hurt any, Tao didn't appear to show any signs of it. They remained upside down on their head, staring up at the massive Chunin that towered over the three.
According to the Chunin, they required some helpers for some graduation tests Genin were supposed to take. Tao wasn't sure what "eloped" meant, but knew that it sounded like the makings of a hide-and-seek game, if the Chunin was having trouble finding their assistants. Kotone was the first to offer help, and when the higher-up asked if Tao and Iori wanted to join, Tao immediately accepted the offer. Responding with a plume of smoke, as it cleared, the image of a small cat-child would be replaced with an exact replica of the Chunin. The doppelganger nodded their head, flexing their newly acquired muscles in various poses as if modeling for a strength competition. Tao admired this form a lot, even going as far as giving one of their bulging biceps a kiss. Maybe they could grow this big one day with enough training...

“Great!” Coach cheered, clapping Iori on the back. The motion was casual, but the man’s big size conveyed more strength than he’d meant to the Genin’s shoulder. “I’ll wrangle up the students and then we can get started! Oh hey, there’s one!” He reached down, picking Tao up by the scruff of their shirt. “Now where’s the-” Coach started to look around, but was stopped by the sudden appearance of Dabi screeching around the corner. “Ah, there’s another one!” He reached out and also grabbed Dabi by the back of his collar. “Now, let’s go!” His voice boomed through the hallway as he stomped outside. Kotone gave Iori a weary smile and a shrug before following the larger man.
A few minutes of walking later and Coach unceremoniously dropped Tao and Dabi. Once the group was outside in the training grounds, they would be welcomed by the comfortable expanse of nature. Trees grew around, large enough to almost completely form a dome over the grounds with their branches, filtering out all but a few rays of sunlight. “Alright listen up! Your graduation test is simple!” He uncrossed his arms and held up two sheets of paper: one blue and one red. “Tao, Dabi, the two of you are meant to each gather one of these sheets. However you do it doesn’t matter, so long as you demonstrate what you’ve learned in the Academy.” As he spoke the hulking man walked over to Kotone and Iori, giving both of them one sheet of paper. “Dabi will try to get his from Kotone, Tao from Iori. We’ll give the two assistants ten minutes to prepare, and then you two will have thirty minutes to find them and get your paper. Understood?”
“Got it!” Kotone smiled and gave the man a salute. Then she caught Dabi in her vision before giving the boy a wink. “I’m not gonna go easy on you, so make sure you don’t hold back, okay?” There was a silent moment as Coach gave the group just a few minutes to mentally prepare. The overhanging forest was silent as he pulled out a stopwatch.
“And…. begin!” Coach exclaimed, slashing the air with his hand. Almost instantly Kotone disappeared in a blur of motion, moving to hide within the forest.
Slpsh. Splsh. The sounds of brush strokes were all but what gave Syun-ho a sense of peace while enjoying her break from practice out in the Academy Field. Everybody else was off doing what all youths in the Academy did, seeking out teachers and guides to further progress their knowledge in the fields of ninjutsu. Away from the hectic havoc, packed neatly in one of the many corners, was a young child who had remained happy in her own world of practicing her ink skills on one of the many sheets of paper surrounding her. Like the goodest noodle she was, Syun-ho sat just outside the range of what other kids were up to. Some commotion nearby did cause her head to raise and watch the ensuing small gathering. One of the teachers held two older kids in his hand and some of the academy students like herself. "Is that some kind of exam? Or some exercise?" Golden eyes gazed graciously across the landscape of each idle ninja. A girl with pretty yellow hair was sent off and left the others behind. There was the tall teacher, a boy with cat ears, and a...person. It was hard to tell much about them at this point, but they did look like a proper swordsman. Syun-ho leaned forward from her seated position at the group. After a while of just staring at them, imagining what it would have been like to be so far along in her studies, the mixed blood student continued painting one the paper around her. One page had been filled in with her doodles and so it was sent off. A flick of the wrist had sent it careening away as the next still sheet was placed in front of her as a brush was raised to continue its practice. Slpsh. Splsh.
"I wish I could just graduate. It feels like I've been in here for months..."

Coach seemed happy at the agreement to help, though Iori did wish that he showed his appreciation bit less...strong. As the hand made contact, they were pushed forward again while stumbling and trying to catch their balance again. Poor Tao also seemed to not be spared from his overly excitable wrath, as the young cat was picked up by the scruff of his shirt and pulled away. Even another person barreling down the hall got taken by Coach. Iori looked over to Kotone, the only other person who was there to watch this all go down and offered her a weak expression, as if to wonder if they should step in or at least try and help the kids from their fate but she'd give a sort of look as if she could read his mind. The ninja gave a small huff and follow the group outside before anymore damage could be done to them.
The entire group was outside and Iori had to admit, it was a pretty nice little academy student exercise. They sat beside Coach alongside their blonde friend who they had just met after being blasted into the wall. The adult was all excited for the little ones to go out and do well for their exam. They remained still as Coach walked over them, though was clearly intimidated by his sheer power. He handed Iori a sheet of paper that Tao was going to have to get from him. They smiled down at the little guy and gave a friendly whistle, as if to say I'll wish you luck!. The Coach would pull out a stopwatch to then have the two helpers take off. Right behind Kotone, Iori launched themselves into the dense forest to hide for their target to give chase.
Reina entered the academy for the first time, the beautiful young woman with a wide smile and positive bubbly energy exuding from her face. Finding her sensei, Reina would bow with great respect, smiling once more. Her inquisitive eyes absorbing the entire scenery of the place. After some explaining about the various amenities of the Tanigakure academy, Reina decided she would get into learn her starting techniques before getting into some more complex learning.
"Whenever you're ready to start, Sensei. I am eager to learn."
'Sensei is... kind of cute actually.'
She would be taught the standard shinobi skills. Showing her the Clone Jutsu, followed by Transformation Jutsu, and finally Substitution Jutsu, her sensei explained that she would be supporting Reina every step of the way. Following the motions, the first of the basic techniques she was going to try was Transformation Jutsu. Using the Dog to Boar to Ram handseals, she then transformed, a poof of white smoke momentarily hiding her. In the new form, she was akin to her sensei, just like he showed her. Next up Reina would learn the Substitution Jutsu. They would borrow some logs from the pile in the academy room to replace positions with. This time, the series of handseals were more starting with Tiger to Boar to Ox to Dog and finally Snake. Having her sensei throw a gentle kunai, Reina tried to have real life application practice for learning it. The kunai would hit a block of wood as she swiftly evaded the attack. A big smile on her face at her success, she practiced this move another 4 times. [Rank E | Substitution Jutsu learned]
The last technique from the standard shinobi list was the Clone Jutsu. Something everyone knew and had to learn like normal. Following her sensei, Reina pays close attention as he is able to create up to 2 copies of himself. Using her handseals from Ram to Snake and then Tiger, she is able to make 1 copy of herself. Reina proceeded to practice the Clone jutsu a few more times to be sure she got it. Wiping her forehead, she was ready to move on. [Rank E | Clone Jutsu learned]
As a standard shinobi skill, her sensei thought it prudent for her to learn the Release Jutsu. A counter towards genjutsu techniques, another sensei joined them casting a genjutsu on her sensei. Using a single handseal, her sensei jutted chakra to her brain. Following the same situation, Reina found herself hit with a genjutsu that was essentially something showing a scary ghost. Using the Release Jutsu, she jutted chakra equal to the strength of the genjutsu freeing herself. [Rank E | Release Jutsu learned]
The following techniques her sensei wanted her to understand were mobility based starting with the Body Flicker. Showing Reina, she formed a Tiger handseal and seemed to poof into some smoke disappearing and reappearing 50 feet further. Reina was ecstatic as she liked to go fast, especially when she was riding pets and such. Forming her own Tiger handseal, Reina would then move rapidly disappearing herself and reappearing at a further distance. With some practice, she found herself trained in the Body Flicker. Next Reina would be taught some skills with learning chakra control. That would start with the Art of Tree Climbing. The major point of practice here is to climb without using arms or hands. Focusing chakra, Reina found herself at first putting out too much and being pushed away or putting too little and losing her footing. Eventually, she figured out a solid balance and put her chakra control to work climbing up a nearby wall in the academy. The next training would be even more difficult. The final general shinobi technique would be The Art of Surface Walking. This technique would have been very useful back when Reina lived in Amegakure, but even now it was a strong skill. The constant stream of chakra control had to be maintained this time using a repellent force to walk across. A pool having been made for her via Suiton, she began practicing. Falling in a couple times, Reina learned quickly to protect herself from dampness. She was soon walking on the surface of the water like an expert. [Rank D | Art of Surface Walking learned]

Continuing her training, Reina felt she would learn some Doton Jutsu for her academy requirements. The first of the 3 techniques she planned to learn was the Rock Throw Jutsu. Channeling chakra into her hands, she began molding chakra into form a 3 foot wide stone. Then hurling the stone, she found herself taking to the Doton fairly well. Next Reina would learn the Earth Military Movement Jutsu. Forming a handseal, she would manipulate chakra to move beneath the earth. At first she could not immediately go beneath, but after a few more tries, she was able to move beneath the earth. She would practice this technique a few more times carefully, knowing it would be a technique that might set up future ones or be built upon. [Rank E | Earth Military Movement learned]
The final technique Reina sought to learn was the Swift Earth Jutsu. Forming a single handseal, she would slap her hands and begin molding the earth into a conveyor belt. With more chakra, she was able to move forward, faster. This could be a great jutsu for travelling across a battlefield or moving objects without lifting them. Reina would practice it a couple more times to ensure she understood the technique's capabilities. [Rank E | Swift Earth learned]
