'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Victor was taking a deep breath inside the darkness, his mind fracturing apart as he sorted through his mind and memories till he found the emotions he needed to falsify having. He couldn't use his black Durians... They would be too obvious, so he was prepared with a tanto and a serrated short blade for his weapons of choice. They called back to his earlier years but he hoped no Atlesians will notice him as the platform shook. He made sure to ask his allies for some small help Incase something happened. 'Incase they figure out who I am and begin to try and attack to catch or kill, think you could provide me a chance to escape?' He asked of them as he never did get a straight response. He sighed as he slowly emerged to the music filled arena and looked to see two targets, one being some named the Blazing Polearm and the other named the Dragon Goddess. His eyes seemed dead, his face obscured by a mask as he looked to the crowds... Scanning for someone in the stands, namely the student named Lunia. He closed his eyes and walked off of his platform and onto the sandy beach as he remained calm, cool, collected. He opened his eyes and saw the Polearm user primed to attack. He smirked under his mask and looked to the goddess. He needed to avoid his waiting tactics as he began to do a light jog towards the Polearm. He brought his left hand up and sheathed the tanto, pulling out a kunai as he threw it at the Polearm user. "Don't just wait you know! The action is waiting to erupt!" He told her in a voice that seemed a bit on the lighter end, alluding that he was young.

Standing in her pod. she had to shake it off. All the nerves and butterflies in her stomach. Her first major fight. The chance to show off what she had been doing these past three months with her mentors. It was a little uncomfortable to be going against a member of her team. There was no place to have sympathy. Soon the pod would start to rise and she had to calm down. Closing her eyes, she would remember everything she was taught. Even the things she learned from the elder. All that was going to be put into use in this fight. She was smart and a strategist. This was possible if she played it smart and did it how she does it. This was going to be a piece of cake. AT least, she hoped that it was going to be because she knew nothing of this third person. She never liked going into situations blind. There was no time to go her research while she trained. As the pod came above ground, there seemed to already be some act talking place.
Aeralin was already being attacked why another opponent. Pyrve had to think whether or not she wanted to get involved. One wrong move could cost injury to her teammate. Then an idea went off in her head and she hoped that it worked. Loading a ice dust into her pole handle, she would plan this out as best as she could. As Victor attacked Aeralin, she would extend her pole handle and use it as a spare to try and in case his right leg in ice. Coming up behind him, she stuck the pole into the ground near his foot before quickly moving away. If Pyrve's plan worked, he was stuck in ice. If Aeralin did manage to dodge his attack, that would give her a chance to regroup.Yes, Pyrve was coming to the rescue of her teammate right out of the gate. It was better than attacking out of turn.
That match up was intriguing and to be honest, the added element of surprise to the match up was lovely by the moderators of the exhibition. Looking on, he felt something was weird but he did not know what though. It seemed like he was being watched. Why? The twins would eventually leave and the next match up would occur. This was what he was waiting on. Looking to see Pyrve was in the match, he would message Wu on his scroll. This was it. The woman he was here to spy on finally revealed herself. He was not sure who was who when came to nicknames but her nickname gave him a little bit of an idea why Wu fond her so special. Had to be something about her. He chalked it up to the semblance. He did not try to teach anyone of the other slaves and captives he took. Sylvester always fond that fact weird to him. Smiling, he was concentrating on the match before he felt a tap on his shoulder. "WHAT?! NO WAY!!"

"Your time is up. Elder Wu feels you do not know how to act and get the job done. Back to HQ. Elder's orders" Bashmu stated. Sylvester was upset but after a moment or so he ended up leaving in a pissed off mood. The popcorn he had was thrown to the side dumping onto some unexpected person. From the outside, it looked as if he was having his seat taken because was in the wrong seat. Did they even have tickets? Was it first come first serve? Who knew. Either way, with Sylvester gone, Bashmu would take a seat crossing his legs as he rested his hands in his lap. He was going to enjoy the show. Taking off his shades, the battle was beginning. It seemed that it was going to be 2v1. Whether they were friends or teammates? Bashmu did think it over. He felt was a smart idea. This white haired dude, Bashmu felt had some skills. Especially because of his use of pole arm. No one just picks that up to use. Too difficult. Similar could be said for the other two but they seemed young and inexperience. Looking at his scroll, he would take a sip from his flask. It was filled with Mimosas. Let's see what these rugrats can do huh? he thought to himself. Hopefully the show would be a good one. "Why does Elder Wu want you?"
And it began! The stranger decided to run towards her unsheathing his blade and throwing a kunai towards her, Aeralin smirked as she spun in place clockwise and grip Maha with only her right hand, after a full circle she slashed the air in front of her, hitting the kunai and deflecting it to the right, she then continued on another spin right in time for Pyrve to freeze his legs and prevent him from moving. While spinning again she finished it with Maha behind her while taking a big leap forward with the momentum from the swing to then before landing she would swing Maha towards the stranger from above “gotcha” Aeralin said with a smirk right before impact. Not even a moment passed from her powerful chop and Aeralin was not done her onslaught, the moment she finished swinging she ungripped her right arm from Maha and sliced upwards and leaped into the air, only to come down with another cut from straight up to end her flurry.
As Aeralin finished up her combo she looked at Pyrve “appreciate the help, but don’t think I’m proud of how it came out. Your next” she crouched a bit, then ran straight towards Pyrve with a huge grin. She would have run faster if not the holes she tried to carefully avoid, that is if she even noticed them. 'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Victor could hear the sound of sandy movements coming from behind him right after he launched the kunai. His foot was never caught as he turned around on his right heel and moved towards the source of the sound. He brought his right leg up and instead stepped upon Pyrve's pole handle up past her dust as it was used on the sand, creating a slick circle behind his foot while her pole was temporarily trapped in ice and sand. "You think me a novice, trust me when I say I've got more combat experience than you." He told Pyrve with a smile as he could hear the clang of metal and thought it best to not stick around. He kicked off of her pole to help her get it unstuck from the frozen grains of sand as he turned around. He watched Aeralin being in the process of coming down as she missed him, his feet landing away from the both of them before she did it again to towards him. He glared and brought up both of his daggers, his aura coming up for the briefest of moments as he blocked the attack and was sent skidding along the sand backwards, kicking up a cloud of dust in the progress. His aura vanished as he didn't want to draw suspicion before he watched her turn on her ally. He sighed a bit and pondered before he smirked. 'This is a contest but it would do me no good to make it even so let's make her look good.' He thought before he ran back at Pyrve. "Good idea, taking out the versatile threat!" He told Aeralin as he remained on the sandy island for the most part. He brought out his tanto knife and would jump over Aeralin to attack Pyrve with a swipe from each of his daggers.

That was okay. Her first attempt at trying something wasn't successful. The fight was only beginning and things could get better for her or worst. As much as she wanted to be flawless in this fight, she was going to make mistakes. That just happened. It was out of her control. At first, she thought because she was helping her teammate, they were going to do a little teamwork dream work. It seems she was finding out very quickly it was indeed everyone for themselves. Plus she had now made herself the target, You would think she'd be upset by this. Not at all in the slightest. They could come for her. She was after all combat ready. A little 1v2 wasn't going to put a damper on her mood. They had already been introduced to Trinity, but she had more tricks up her sleeve.
First, she was going to take of Victor. Who literally just jumped over Aeralin to attack her. Putting her axe under her arm, she grabbed her shield and loaded it with purple low gravity dust. With mercy loaded with dust, she'd detonate the area around her. With Victor sent flying, she still had an Aeralin charging at her. Placing her axe back in her hand,Pyrve wasn't going to stand still and just wait on her though. Starting to create her own run, she would re-extend her pole arm and attempt to met Aeralin with a 270 degree rotating strike to Aeralin's right hip with her axe that by the time she followed through it would have made a whole circle spin. And it probably was going to in case her hip with ice if it hit because she did still have the ice dust in her polearm. Hopefully this would show that she was ready, they could keep coming and she was going to keep knocking them down.

┏━━━━━━━━┓ Aurelia Hayes ┗━━━━━━━━┛ ✬Deputy Head Mistress of Beacon Academy✬ Shadow Education Minister✬
Aurelia watched as mist obscured the arena. How interesting. Free Runner Rabbits? That could only be - yes as soon as she thought it, the announcer said Ren and Rena's name. A pair with interesting semblances to say the least. She approved of the obstacle course, which may seem odd to some. Considering Beacons' only objective at this juncture was to train fighters to beat back the Grimm threat some may wonder what an obstacle course may have to do with that. However, reacting to the unexpected, being able to navigate unfamiliar terrain and maneuver quickly through the environment were all incredibly useful skills in the fight against Grimm.
Things got off to a rough start as both the twins slipped and fell off the rocks. Ren had made the mistake of trying to show off, something Aurelia hoped he wouldn't do out in the field. Rena nearly crashed into her brother and missed her landing to avoid it. Something that could easily happen in the field. Coordination and being aware of your teammates were important. How interesting, she thought after it was announced the twins would also need to dodge water balloons. She rather enjoyed seeing Ren's danger sense in action, though how much danger could a water balloon really hold? That would serve him well out in the field. As would Rena's determination along with her jumping ability, as nearly caught up to Ren before taking a balloon to the stomach. Rey wasn't the only one to suffer from tunnel vision, giving stage 1 to Ren.
Stage 2 started off with a series of rings, and Aurelia was happy to see Rena figure out a way to make use of her natural gifts by jumping most of the rings. Ren wasn't so clever, and his danger sense seemed to be little help while he was dangling from the rings with nowhere to dodge. Both the twins made an impressive display of avoiding bumper turrets that Aurelia could only envy. She had always had poor balance, forcing her to use combat styles which left both feet planted on the ground. An unlucky balloon sent Rena into the water, but Aurelia was more interested to see how she recovered. And recover she did, quickly swimming back to the start and jumping over the bumpers with determinations. It was Ren's turn to be clever was he hung on the bottom of the platform to avoid a series of water balloons. The announcer said he wasn't sure it was legal, but frankly, Aurelia wasn't worried. After all, a Grimm didn't follow the rules, it just went for the kill. The move had cost Ren a bit of time though, allowing Rena to catch up.
Time for the rock wall. The crowd gave a collective groan as Rena jumped straight into a chunk of ice thrown down by her brother. Even Aurelia mentally cringed as the wind dust was set off, sending Rena into a wall, though it wouldn't do to show it physically. She was disappointed to see Rena give up. Granted her aura was shattered, but Aurelia would have liked to see more determination from a Beacon student. Show the people of Vale that they won't give up in the fight to protect them. In fact, she felt Beacon pride as Ren's words were picked up by the microphones. That they had to ready for anything and how he wouldn't lose. Technically speaking, he had already won, yet he was still determined to finish the race. It wasn't smooth sailing as the lone rabbit hopped across the obstacles, but heart, determination and a little bit of luck made up for the places where his skill wasn't quite there yet.
As she had in the previous shows, Aurelia used the intermission to add notes to the student's profiles. Rena made good use of her superior jumping ability, however, she needed to work on being more aware of the environment around her. She would also like to see more determination from the student, though that was something hard to teach. Maybe it was the effects of that last push from Ren, but she was having a hard time coming with something specific he needed to work on. She could write "show off less" but that seemed hardly fair to judge him on in an exhibition show, and hadn't seemed to impact his performance. He certainly hadn't breezed through flawlessly, but there didn't seem to be a specific area that needed work. Finally, she settled on ending her notes for Ren with 'training seems to be going well, after noting his heart, determination and correct attitude for a huntsman.

As Aeralin charged towards Pyrve she heared Victor applauding her for targeting Pyrve couse she was the versatile one, it annoyed her a bit, she didn't focus her couse of versatility but because she wanted to go show her friend what she was made off, she didn't give a damn about what she could dish back. Unfortunately it did bite her, as she got closer she noticed Pyrve spinning and readying to attack, miss judging the timing she quickly moved Maha infront of herself, taking the full force of Pyrve's weapon, Aeralin was sent flying sideways as the axehead Maha was frozen. Aeralin got up on her feet, glowing in bright flaming collors as her aura healed her up, she checked for any damage on Maha beside of the obvious chilly blade "that was one hell of a blow Pyrve, but you know it wont work on me again right? Come on stranger, it's time to charge ger again" she said as she jogged towards Pyrve. If he does plan on charging in with her, she would attempt to grab him by one of the legs and smash him on Pyrve, if he dodges her grab she will ready Maha for defence If Victor stays behind Aeralin would spin Maha on her way to Pyrve, small flaming particles would come out of Maha's back as she swung it around, when she got close she would attempt to hit a slash to the legs, then spin counter clockwise and slice from 3 o'clock, right after that she would stab streight forward. The blade head might be frozen but its still a strong blunt force with the chilly edge. OOC: any flaming particle that will be on Maha's swings are Visual only, they are harmless (even when semblance is activated, the flames will be alot brighter and noticable but they aren't something that deals damage) Post count: 14

'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Victor watched her apply something to her shield as he landed his jump and swung at her. Being infront of Aeralin did have a perk for her as his serrated Knife came into contact with her shield. He was about to apply pressure before she created a brief moment of weightless zones around him before she pushed him away. He was sent up and away, but not too far as Aeralin ran underneath him as he flipped over and landed into a rollback, standing up on his feet 6 meters away from the duo. He watched as Aeralin was knocked off to the left side from his point of view with her weapon coated in ice. Victor looked towards Pyrve and his eyes focused, his stance lowered as he was still on sand, just at the edge where the heels of his shoes touched water. 'She's highly defensive.... I can deal with her easily.' He thought as he heard Aeralin motioning on for another charge. At their point he'd be charging at her from her front while Aeralin would be charging from Pyrve's right. "Already using both of your dusts huh? Let's hope they were a good investment." He told her as he started to run towards Pyrve while Aeralin did so. Yet as he breached the 5 meter line to Pyrve, he slipped his left hand up and grabbed a blue thin bladed throwing dagger and a simple dagger from from his bandolier. He applied his aura to the blade, priming it before he soon hopped a bit to skid, kicking up sand a plenty to obscure the vision for him as he stayed away. As Aeralin got close he threw the dagger first, aimed at Pyrve's torso. If she blocked it or not did not matter as the real threat he threw next was the Blue Kunai as he was attempting to use his distance and accuracy to try and freeze Pyrve's foot in place and throw her off balance for Aeralin to land a solid blow. 'That weapon of hers.....she's a heavy hitter while this Pyrve is a tank. This is just not my day.' He mentally thought before he jumped away to keep a distance of at least 4 meters from them.

It seems it just wasn't going to be Pyrve's day for a little while. That was alright. She knew that this match was far from over and that she was going to have her chance to retaliate. They were not just going to abuse her in this match. She was mad. Oh no by all means she wasn't mad,, but she was going to get even. That was for sure. First, she took the blade to the tummy by Victor. Carefully pulling it out, she would use her aura to heal it. It was just a scratch. Sadly that was enough time for Aeralin to knock the hell out of her. Using her shield, she stuck it into the sand to stop her from flying too far away from the two. Putting the dagger in one of her dust pouches as a reminder of her pain, she was ready to make them pay. They had gotten their licks in.
She was going to start with Aeralin who was the closed to attack at the time. Running at her, she extended her pole arm in a downward angle. Mercy was ready to deflect any attack that Aeralin may try on her in the process or if Victor tried to sneak up on her. She attempted to swing at Aeralin legs from from right to left and retracted the pole arm to trip her and send her backwards into a pool of water behind her. If that worked, her mind would go to Victor whom was keeping his distance. "Smart man." She mumbled under her breath. Pyrve thought it was time to get creative Creating her run, she stuck her axe into the sand and used it as a cata pole to launch her forward in Victor's direction. As she went forward, she grabbed the handle of her axe and took it with her. From the looks of it to victor, she was going to be attacking with her feet. It looked like she was going to super kick him right in the face. Instead while still in the, she back flipped and cocked back her axe. As she came down upon her, she attempted to swing right on the right side of his head/neck area. Using Mercy, she would stick her landing having dealt the damage she wanted to deal. "Now I feel even." She spoke.

Aeralin had a huge grin on her face, she loved the feeling of successfully pulling out a full-on assault of blows. She held Maha with her right hand making it face down and the handle up above her back “come on Pyrve I know you can do better! Show me what my dad saw when you fought the bandits!” Aeralin wanted to tease her a bit, to make sure she would hit her the best she could. And indeed it happened, Pyrve charged at her while extending her polearm, Aeralin attempted to slash from above, only to have Pyrve use Mercy to block her attack, then slashed at her right leg. She didn’t have enough time to react to the attack, she fell down backward on her head while having her leg bleeding from a deep cut as she sunk into the pool.
About fifteen seconds after Aeralin finally managed to get out of the pool, her head was still dizzy as her legged glowed in flaming colors from her own aura healing it. “I guess that’s what some people would call karma” she mumbled with a smile, she is not done yet. Seeing the two still fighting each other she started to walk quietly towards the two, though once she was close enough she sprinted and leaped into the air while spinning, trails of very visible flames followed every move of Maha, she would then land between the two with a spinning cleave “hope you didn’t forget about me yet!” Aeralin roared in excitement.

Victor watched as the sand dispersed to reveal that Pyrve took the blade and was using her aura to heal where it hit. Unfortunately that meant she had little knowledge on how to use aura defensively, a bad sign for this school as he contained his grin for blood. It would be a bit before the wound would vanish and Aeralin did not let up. He remained standing where he was, thinking while he saw Pyrve landing her attacks upon Aeralin's legs, who also didn't use her aura to avoid damage. "The school failed you two." He told them both as Aeralin was sent flying into the waters as he began to walk towards Pyrve. His eyes focused as he barely closed any distance while he pulled out a crimson dagger. His last one created a small field of ice, and this one he had designed for an explosion. That's when it happened, she used her axe like a pole vault and launched herself towards him. Considering the fact the weapon's pole is hollow, he had little to worry about as she spun around mid jump. He had nothing to worry from her legs, she lacked proper strength from what he saw and when she spun to perform her actual attack he stepped in. He brought the dagger hand and his left hand up, grabbing underneath the head of her polearm as he aimed to use her momentum against her. "Flashy moves like this are going to get you killed." He told her in a dark whisper, his eyes focused as he was a professional, someone who has fought so many times that attacks like this were easily counterable due to how flashy they were. He swung with her momentum, and if she did not let go, he was driving her hard into the sand with little to no time for her to use her shield to save her. If she did let go, he'd be holding her weapon while she was sent flying away to leave him in the center.
Regardless of how Pyrve acted, he would have little time as he noticed Aeralin's shadow coming over him. He would leap away, either with or without the polearm from how Pyrve reacted to gain distance as he chuckled. "Glad to see you're still kicking, that means she missed your knee." He told Aeralin, knowing now that she was drunk off of adrenaline as her blood still covered the sand behind him from Pyrve's attack.

Victor was talking a whole lot of s**t. Yes, she didn't use her defensive aura that time, but it wasn't going to happen again. He got lucky with that dagger. Aeralin got a taste of sweet karma for talking her s**t too. It seems the fun wasn't over as she flew over Aeralin who made her fancy landing. Victor countered her attack and now had her pole arm in hand. Thank goodness she had a landing strategy when it came to just using Mercy. Now Victor was in the middle of Pyrve and Aeralin. He may have had her weapon, but she still had the skill set of a ninja. Aeralin seemed primed to lay waste. Was Aeralin finally going to work with her team leader to take Victor down or was she going to keep fighting against her? Pyrve didn't know the answer, but she did know she needed her weapon back. That left a big hole in her game plan without Trinity. Running towards Victor, she would use his trick, she's kick up sand. Making her way towards him and Aeralin, she'd let the sand settle just enough to attempt to kick him in the right shoulder blade. Hopefully that was enough for him to drop her axe with enough time to swipe it before Aeralin cooked up a plan.
Aeralin tumbled a bit from her injury, the landing wasn’t nice on her leg but she didn’t care since it was very close to fully heal, Aeralin chuckled at Victor’s remark while slowly walking towards him, she made it look like she was barely able to move “you think this would stop me? You know… there is a reason why I came in this match with this nickname right?” Aeralin said as her aura suddenly exploded around her, making it seems like she is actually on fire as a smug smile appeared on her face. At this point she was close enough to sprint towards Victor before he could adjust to her speed change, lifting him up by his throat and slamming him to the floor “there is a reason why I never used my aura to block the attacks, let’s just say I am drunk on adrenaline” she said as she noticed Pyrve starting to make a run towards them, she quickly threw Victor towards Pyrve and slashed the air in front of her in an X shape, then a straight cut from top to bottom, every cut left a burning trail behind Maha. Right after she made each slash, a burning wave of aura lunched forward in the exact length of the slashes. She hoped she could hit both of them at the same time, she could not stop herself from smiling from the feeling, though she knew exactly what will happen once it turns off.
