The robot is clamoring over the dirt mounds, a little shaky and struggling to get its balance. Even when it seems to find a flat surface, it stumbles. Its calibrations are most likely damaged, but that’s not surprising considering the state it was in when the Mauvians found it. It’s likely that there was meant to be something far more threatening about this defensive mode, but thankfully the damage it has already taken is working in the Mauvian’s favor. Unfortunately, it’s not completely helpless. It swings its four upper limbs in the air and tries to charge at the Mauvians even though it can’t really seem to focus on any of them. Sometimes, it seems like it's trying to kick them, only its balance is so bad it just topples into them. It’s fairly lightweight, but that should be expected of the supreme Mauvian crafting. However, it still flails about with enough force that it could easily bruise. And then, when it seemed like an unbalanced, rickety, four armed and flailing machine couldn’t be more obnoxious--it starts shooting lasers out of orifices it didn’t have two minutes ago. Small, tiny cannons are rapidly firing little lasers and the robot looks like it’s hosting its own poorly choreographed rave. It’s wild, but hardly enjoyable when the lasers have the capability to sting, blind, disorient, or stun. Quote: The strange, robotic attacker is still fighting frantically--Mauvian tech or not, it can’t recognize friend from foe. It’s taken some damage, but not enough to slow it down. It’s not giving up, and neither can you! Roll 1 100 sided dice at the top of your next post to continue attacking! You may choose to be hit by the robot or any of its lasers and take what damage or affliction you desire. You may participate in the ORP even if you missed a previous prompt, however it may affect the outcome of certain events. Rolls cannot be made up once the next prompt has been posted! All Mauvians should roll to search for the mysterious capsule! Players can miss dice rolls without repercussions but will not be able to make up for missed dice rolls. Posts will occur ~every 48 hours. Please make sure to include your Mauvian’s name at the top of their post (in red if your Mauvian was not affected by the electrical wave that trapped them in human civilian forms and blue if they were affected by the electrical wave), along with a tally beneath it!

Soleiyu hadn't quite caught everything the other two were saying, but Liryn's enthusiasm was somewhat reassuring. He nodded as politely as he could, but it was difficult to focus on pleasantries when all of a sudden the Mauvian robot was not only swiping at them but shooting at them. He let out a startled yelp as a laser came dangerously close to his face, and though he ducked away in time he was still seeing stars.
The idea of Mauvian tech was like a piece of home, nostalgia for a place he couldn't really remmeber. It was something he wanted to touch and investigate and explore.
...It was something he didn't want to kill him.
"This is not normal!" he said to the two at his side, more out of frustration than anything else. It may have been a bit of vanity that had him reach up to touch his hair, as if to assure it was all still attached to his head. "--Of all the things in Destiny City, a piece of technology that beautiful has to be our enemy?"
It hurt.
Probably not as much as the lasers would if he got careless. He wasn't in any position to get closer so picked up half crumbled brick from the dirt pile he'd been sifting through, hurling it at the robot.

Etoile
What was with things that wanted to attack cute little kitty cats like her? Okay, maybe she technically wasn't a kitty cat at the moment, but all the same, Etoile didn't like this one bit. Picking up a piece of loose concrete (or whatever it was), Etoile hurled it at the robot, just barely dodging a laser in return, with a slightly singed skirt to show for it.

At first, Miss Kitty was disinclined to fight. It was a robot, her Ally loved robots, and for all her crankjly, mature-adukt crochetyness, she loved Ally as much if nortt more than anybody loved their person. Ally loved her before she awoke, doted and cared,. so if Miss Kitty could bring her a "robotic overlord" Miss Kitty was going to do it. But this was.... Well she wasn't su-- Pew! One of the lasers shot past her wrist and left a considerable buren, and the woman hissed, fingers twitching briefly in a gestture like a cat baring claws before she stormed the robit and snarled. " Wroing move." She snapped at the flasiling, malfunctioning robot, and one steep toed boot make it's best attempt to kick the machine furiously, a teeth-bared snarl on her face. MoonKitsune Still near Arthur, she's content there

Fantasia(( Rolls = 63 + --- + 25 = 88 )) So new to this world and it's rules Fantasia had been terribly slow with her responses anyway. Now with the combined shock of a human body as well as the sudden attack, Fantasia had been stunned into surprised silence. It wasn't until a laser grazed her shoulder that she was finally able to respond. Glancing at her new companion, Fantasia offered a small smile in way of apology. Her arms would ache later, but then that seemed like hardly an issue now. Adrenaline numbed the pain and hurried her on as she stooped down to grab a scrap of debris and hurled it over her head at the mechanical attacker. "Damn these cumbersome limbs," she cursed out loud as the rock sailed overhead, barely hitting anything of note.

Chip81, 26, 38 (145) Fighting something is a lot harder when you can't just will a trebuchet or beam of energy into existence. As such, Chip hung back from the thing, looking around for a good option to use more indirectly... It was a construction site, after all, there was bound to be something. A steel beam! He was gigantic now, surely he could pick one up... ...Nope, not possible. He'd just need to rig up a pulley system tied to a brick, then maybe he could sling some heavy chunks of something at it. The boy rubbed his chin thoughtfully (It was surprisingly fun to do, this chin rubbing thing!) as he assessed how exactly to go about it.... Entirely heedless of any amount of chaos going on around and near him.

TomlinRoll 1 = 41 Roll 2 = 38 Roll 3 = 84 Total = 163Tomlin fell back as the lasers started shooting, crouching near Soleiyu and Liryn in an instinctively feline pose. There was a hell of a lot more of him than usual to get hit. Liryn was right, it wasn’t in good shape, but still far more functional than was good for them. Tech was more Liryn’s domain than his. And if he’d had any doubt Soleiyu was one of them, his words upon getting shot cleared it right up. They were both going to have a blast when the blasted thing stopped blasting them. It was erratic. If it hadn’t been a robot, he’d have said it was in pain. “Not sure it’s our enemy,” he said. “Maybe it was just… expecting cats?” Then again, for all they knew it was the cause of their transformations. He spotted an opening and darted in again, attempting another kick. He got a laser in the face for his efforts, a momentary sting and a blinding flash. He rubbed a hand over his eyes, sparks and afterimages all he saw. Great, went well with the rest of his reduced human senses.

LirynQuote: Score tally Roll #1: 19 Roll #2: 82 Roll #3: 59 Total: 167 "It's probably just confused" Liryn agreed as the robot shakily clambered over one of the dirt mounds and attempted to charge in their direction - well ok, so it didn't seem to be especially targeting Soleiyu, Tomlin or himself given that it seemed to be trying to attack everyone currently gathered all at once - although there had been that robot at HQ too a couple of years back - back when their technology had briefly started playing up - and it had attacked–
A flailing upper limb came a little tooo close to him, forcing to Liryn to shift awkwardly out of the robot's way, the human body he was currently stuck in lacking the feline grace and agility of his cat form - he managed it, albeit barely, only to yelp from the stinging as a follow up laser struck his side.
It cut his brief musings on the HQ robot short, especially as more cannons firing even more lasers in random directions seemed to have cropped up.
"No this most definitely isn't normal" Liryn admitted as a laser just missed the top of his head, reaching down to pick up a largish stone - and whilst a part of him would have liked to have studied the stinging lasers - it wasn't something that was going to happen whilst said lasers were still shooting at them.
He tossed the stone at the robot - well okay more like he tried to toss it in the robot's general direction.

Runelucia
So, Rune by and by spent living her approximately week-long-so-far life with this mysterious affliction that left her as un-mauvian like, and a lot more like a human civilian. She took this in stride and spent much of the week with her most wonderful friend Tochi. She had a fantastic time, even if it involved sharing an already and thoroughly occupied room shared by two occupants. Tochi and Rune spent a great deal of time indulging in their shared hobby of idols, which entailed singing duets together, wearing matching outfits, and even starred at each other’s v-tuber channels as guests. And, Rune relished at the convenience of being able to play her beloved idol rhythm games at the local arcade looking like she belonged rather than sneaking around like a miscreant, which is a point she’d argue, since she herself does pay for the plays! It’s just that she doesn’t appear like a typical customer such a place would attract.
Ah, such wonderful and now bygone days. Rune wished she could maintain this state of being longer, she knew deep down that it couldn’t last at all. While she had missed a number of impulses that may or may not have any relevance to her current predicament, for once, she couldn’t miss this one. After all, she just happened to be nearby.
Rune found herself wandering towards the source and before she knew it, she instinctively maneuvered herself away from the laser. She rolled away enough, complete with shriek that she instinctively thought as shameful for someone like her, with it being as un-idol-like as it gets, but was left feeling a slight sense of disorientation.
"W-what was that?!" she cried and stared wide-eyed at what was in front of her...
For one, what’s up with the lasers?! Why lasers!? Why couldn’t this… strange four-limbed robot just…. Stop being a menace? Could it even talk? Doubtful, considering that it seemed bent on enacting havoc and… more lasers.
“Ahhhh stop it, stop it!” Rune groaned in annoyance as she darted away from laser after laser. She whined to herself even more when micro lasers joined the larger ones.
“H-how gross! How undignified! Why couldn’t this robot mellow out? I wish singing to it would work, but I have my doubts this time…” Rune whined to herself. She wished that she could run away and hide until folks with a much better toolkit and dexterity could give this robot a run for its money… or parts. Doubtful that it has any money.
Soon, she hid behind some rubble and from a distance, began chucking rocks and gravel and whichever else at the robot. She didn’t mean to distract it and have it assault her further, but she couldn’t just sit there and do nothing and hide. It wouldn’t do! How could she become a role model idol manager if she doesn’t look and act the part? It’s… hardly graceful, but whatever she’d do would suffice. It’s the heart that matters! Granted, the situation could be much better, but the robot wouldn’t have it any other way.

Arthur"Quite alright! Just be careful near it. We can't let this thing run off and hurt anyone. Do you see anything we can pin it down with??" He called out, heaving a rock and chucking it at it. Whatever it was, it seemed sturdy.
He really needed to work out his arms more.
