From the people she spoke to she got a few more details, and even got a few stories of successful players in the game who were now busy making preparations to care and hatch thier tiny eggs. Dratani soaked it all in but if she wanted to find Ostarath herself she would need to decide where to look. The Hatching grounds was close and some of the tales claimed to have found her there, was a good start.

Asparagoth continued to sleep while things went on around him, only the occasional twitch of his tail gave any signs he was even alive, however even a growing dragon could only nap for so long and he slowly began to wake.
Kindra was instantly aware of her dragon waking and hurried down to the Hatching Grounds, so she would be there when he fully woke and wouldn't get upset at finding her not with him. She reached him just as he was getting up to stretch, back arched, wings flared, maw wide open showing his teeth "Sleep well Asparagoth?"
At first he looked surprised, not totally aware of his surroundings but today was a good day and he remembered quickly "I had a strange dream, i dreamed there were dragons and people all around me, i could hear them but i couldn't see anyone" he shook his head, such a strange dream
Dratani/ Kindra and Asparagoth - The Hatching Grounds were a peaceful place to take a nap. Even without eggs on the sands people tended to act respectfully. Right now there weren't even firelizard eggs on the sands, as Ostarath hadn't returned.

Robin
Robin lit up at the green's arrival, studying her options before smiling, sniffling before accepting egg 5, and looking up.
"Thank you, all of you. PleSe keep safe!
(B]Cyrille
Nothing. Cyrille shrugged, and decided to try the Firestone stores, humming. She wSdetermibed!
Morning Glory Blue - Enthusiastic, Friendly, Rough
Once again Ostarath picked up her basket, another egg home successfully found. Without staying to make any conversation the green trotted off to find a new hiding place. It seemed a lot of people were looking and she was enjoying that she got to move around a lot at least.
Cyrille - It seemed that Ostarath had taken the recommendation that she shouldn't stay in the Firestone Stores seriously, as she hadn't been back there in a while.

Empty, but of course it would be. If the green was trying to play a game then she wouldn't stay if she had been found already. Dratani would just have.to make a full circle of the Weyr, despite the long walk. So next would be the Weyrling barracks, would it? Seemed too obvious but worth checking in
K'lir Okay, so she wasn't on the Hatching Grounds. It had been as good a place as any to check while Ostarath refused to tell him where she actually was. He tried again to see what the green dragon was looking at and caught a flash of water. The Lake! Breaking out into a run K'lir tried to get to the Lake before his dragon got away again. Maybe she wasn't even there. Maybe this was Ostarath throwing him a curve ball of a memory so that he would head in the wrong direction.
Mecesa The Star Stones were a good place for the children. They might not have been able to find Ostarath, but they enjoyed pointing out everything that they could see from the vantage point. It kept them so entertained that Mecesa made no effort to draw them away. So long as they stayed back from the edge it was safe for them. Let them have a bit more fun, maybe make some positive memories of the place. Before the red star was visible and ruined that for them.
S'lvar and Recareth The lake had provided a pleasant walk and S'lvar felt thoroughly calmed after a few minutes of watching the water. Leaning against Recareth the young man found his mind drifting back to the work he still had left to do. There was always more work left for them to do. Would it always be like this? Would it calm down when they graduated? Would he one day feel like he knew all this by heart and didn't need to keep studying? He should get back to work...
Let's go to the Star Stones. Recareth said finally. I would like to stretch my wings, and the breeze is pleasant. It shouldn't take long. S'lvar smiled at the blue, knowing exactly what he was up to. Even then he agreed, climbing up onto the dragon's back. Recareth took off gently, mindful that he wasn't wearing his full riding straps, climbing higher up to the Star Stones and lazily circling.
Telleara and Antolith The Star Stones had been swarming with children and Telleara was quick to lead her group away. Once it was clear that there was no sign of Ostarath the group quickly headed back down. Quartz shared Telleara's dislike of children. Antolith and Clay didn't really think one way or the other and so were quick to follow the two displeased females as they evacuated.
"Well she wasn't up there," Telleara said as they reached the bowl once more. "Where shall we try next?" The dragonkin thought about it a moment. Telleara was happy enough to go along with where they thought, this was their adventure after all. They could put in the mental legwork. Quartz was the first to perk up, showing the mental imagine of the hatching caverns and a Antolith surrounded by eggs. That's where eggs belong. Maybe Ostarath would have taken the eggs there?
"Any other ideas?" When Antolith and Clay both shook their heads Telleara smiled. "Very well. Hatching Grounds it is then."
Kindra sighed as her stomach grumbled, it took her a moment before she realised it was actually HER that was hungry, so used to ignoring herself for Asparagoth. "If you want to stay here you can Asparagoth" she said, smiling.
Asparagoth shook his head, "I'll come, this time i am making sure YOU are eating" his mental voice rumbled with gentle amusement, despite it's ever present tremble, even as his body involuntarily spasmed at times.
"alright" she chuckled, matching her pace with the white's as they headed to the Dining Hall

K'lir - The Lake was indeed just a clever ruse. There wasn't an Ostarath to be seen at all around the lake.
Mecesa/ S'lvar and Recareth - Although the blue circling the Star Stones was an interesting sight, it wasn't one witnessed by Ostarath.
Telleara and Antolith - The Hatching Grounds were a good place to look for Ostarath. She needed to return from time to time to make sure the eggs would maintain temperature. Firelizards were busily dumping cold sand out of the basket and scooping warm sand back in and making a warm bottom for the eggs. Ostarath hummed when another of her bronze brothers found her. Antolith, you found me! She reached out and booped her nose against her brother's. You can have whichever egg you or yours want, but only one even though there's four of you.
Revel1984
Kindra and Asparagoth - The Dining Hall provided plenty of opportunity for a human to get something to fill their stomachs, but no chances to pick up a firelizard egg.
Asparagoth could feel Kindra's growing annoyance at not finding Ostarath and her basket of firelizard eggs, he knew at this point for Kindra, it was the principle now and there was no way he could talk her out of it. "What about the feeding pens Kindra? i am feeling a little hungry myself now you've had your meal" he suggested gently, to ease her irritations at having to search more, he almost wished he hadn't asked her to find a firelizard egg now, he didn't like putting more on his rider' shoulders than she had already just by having him as her dragon.
Kindra felt his pang of guilt and instantly softened, "oh Goth, you know i love you dearly and i would NEVER EVER have another dragon over you, you are my life and my heart you silly old thing" she thought at him, her tone friendly scolding. "now, let's go find you a firelizard!" she started towards the feeding pens "and maybe a small wherry or two to fill your belly?" she smiled

Antolith gave a brassy honk at the sight of his sister, returning her boop with one of his own. He would have jumped around a little with his playful sister, but was aware that around eggs that wasn't the wisest choice, so he settled for rumbling happily. They had found her and now they were allowed an egg. Quartz and Clay hopped down and examined the basket. Telleara crouched down also as the dragon's looked on. The young woman wasn't especially focused or wanting of a particular egg. She had Quartz, Antolith and Clay; there wasn't any status to be gained from another firelizard. Besides the three were the ones that wanted this newest addition to their group.
Quartz and Clay examined the clutch carefully, as though they could perceive something that the humans and dragons could not. Antolith leaned down and huffed over the eggs. The three looked over the clutch for a long time, thoughts shared between the trio until finally Quartz stepped forward and placed her small paw on egg #14. Looking back at Telleara the little gold waited as the young woman scooped up the egg and gently held it in her hands. "Guess the choice has been made." Standing slowly the weyrling nodded her thanks to Ostarath, before leading her little group out of the Hatching Grounds.
Kindra and Asparagoth - There were plenty of things for a dragon to eat at the feeding pens, but no firelizard eggs of Ostarath to be found.

As expected the gavalanting green was not here, plenty of other ones though. She was not the first visitor to come looking, and she wouldn't be the last, but it seemed the general advice was to look else where. Her next stop was the feeding grounds, a young dragon was sure to get hungry after all this play.
