"Sango!" Hima yelped in surprise when she had brought up that she should have more freedom. Her eyes were wider than the peacock's head as her jaw was agaped. The moment Masahrio said his words as she puffed her cheeks in anger, that wasn't true! If it was, she would be able to go to Konoha! Or even Arashigakure to see if there was any records on her mother! OR EVEN SUNAGAKURE! But nope. Study study study.

After dashing towards Sonyo, she waited, patiently. Himawari giggled as the end of the flower tickled her head a bit as Sonyo was tucking into her thick blonde hair. Hima was suddenly sent back to somewhere cold. She can see Theo, leaning down and making ice flowers in her hair. She was shorter and younger. Hima remembered this foundly. Instead of being upset, she seemed happier! Theo wasn't dead after all and neither was her mother! Sonyo denied the hug as she just smiled brightly, "Hai! I gotcha!" Sonyo turned her attention to Sango as she smiled and gave Sango thumbs up. She heard Masahiro leaving Lin-Meanie in charge as she gulped. Immediately, she grabbed Sango's hand, "We gotta go!" She whispered really fast as she ran out of the garden before Lin-Yu could say something else to them. BESIDES! "I hope Sonyo is okay! Dad is strong anyways so I'm sure he can help her! I love these cloaks! The green is FAN-TAST-TIC on you!!! We should practice our cloaks! Knowing dad he wouldn't just make it simple so le'ts try... WAAAHH!" Hima yelped as she was sent hurtling down the hallway.

Having been addressed first by the Emperor, who connotated the worry of the young Ward's potential ascension (a fate which worried the entire governance, not just the Adjutant Lin-Yu), and then young Hikari. The Lord Adjutant sighed as his hands wrung the head of his cane. He hung his head low a moment, then looked from Hikari to Himawari.
Several major events had unfurled in the Empire in the last week alone, and now with this to follow, on the upset of the eclipse. Lin-Yu would act in a way to preserve the Heiress and move items for the stability of the Nations, while further enhancing their outlying territories.
"I have had the chance to fully review your service records, now that the Emperor has made me privy to some of what was recalled from the former Wind Capital's backup of Suna's records. I have... A request. The IFN Kongoshu is preparing to arrive in port. When it does, you are to take the young Ward, as her direct bodyguard. I ask that you convince Sango to accompany her, but her travel is not necessary, only helpful." He compiled a list in his head of the variables and those who would be traveling forthwith.
"Officially the pair, or trio, of you will be travelling to the Land of Tea to help in expansion of Utsumi-to. New projects are underway that require some imperial presence and direction, and the governance there has asked that we send a delegate. Himawari is, officially of age to begin acting in this role. And I believe, with a responsible adult who understands the Emperor's belief, she can execute properly." He spoke, his voice clear and his tone hard as he walked past the girl.
His request was not so much a request, in truth, but a command for Masahiro's former subordinate to execute, in order to prolong the Empire.
"Lady Himawari! Young Sango. Stop there." He called out. "Himawari, I do apologize, but you have official duties to consider, you will, however, finally get to see the Lands of Tea and assist in the governance of the Empire with the matter at hand!" Lin-Yu began, as he approached the young woman in earnest.
"Your passage on the Kongoshu is already booked, once it returns from its voyage north."

Not long after she would arrive, Lin-Yu would assign Hikari another mission. "Of course, my Lord. I will see the task done." Hikari would reply to the man as he passed by, then followed him over to Himawari and Sango. once he finished stating what needed to be done, Hikari would approach the two girls. "Himawari, go get ready to leave Immediately and me me by the docks at the Iron District, if you would. We will leave as soon as we can." Hikari would then turn to Sango. "You are welcome to join us, but I will not force you to. If you are not with us by the time we board, I will assume you are not coming." Not waiting for an answer from either of the two girls, Hikari would turn towards the exit of the gardens, and make her way towards her apartment.
Himawari heard the very voice she didn't want to hear. Lady Himawari! No. No. Absolutely not! Then he even apologized. With a confused huh, she skidded to a stop at the hallway as she glanced back. Himawari paused. Should she apporach him or should she leave? Sango was trapped by him. With a defeated sigh, she marched right on back to Lin-Yu who met her halfway. Her arms crossed as she was already starting to pout. He brought up duties as she visibly groaned, ready for another argument about studies and that she wanted one night off! ONE! To hang out with Sango, her bestest of the best of the bestest friend and have a sleepover! Was that too much to ask for! But then her jaw dropped as he mentioned that she gets to go to Lands of Tea nad assist in the goverance of the Empire with the matter at hand. She paused and waitied. She waited for him to start laughing and said that she was so guillable to fall for a prank.
Nothing. He went on to mention that her passage was booked. Slowly, it was as if watching the clouds move away and the sun came bursting in. "YAY!" Himawari shouted as she grabbed Sango's hand and started to hop and down with her. "I get to prove to everyone I can do this! I can do this! WE CAN GOOO! Wait. Sango, you don't' have to go if you don't want to! I understand this is all too fast and being crashed course into the Empire! So how about this, if you can't come that's okay! We can still do a sleepover when I get back! You can talk to one of the staff here and they can help you set up a housing under me! Just tell them to put it on my tab and don't you be scared! I want you to be comfortable and happy here, that's all! I gotta go get ready for this mission!" She squeezed Sango's hand and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "I love you!" She said towards Sango. For Hima, saying I love you to people or animals she scares about wasn't unusual. In fact, Lin-Yu may be the only one that never got told I love you from Hima. Yet.
Hikari mentioned to her to go get ready immediately and meet her at the docks. Himawari glared at her as she walked away. "Geez. Who died and made her a boss?" She questioned as she rolled her eyes at Sango. "Bye! You be careful! I hope I get to see you at the docks but don't you worry about not showing up, it won't hurt my feelings, promise!" With that, Himawari left to go to her room. Once she entered she nodded. "Okay. I need to make sure I get my bow..." With that, she ducked down to under her bed and reached over for her bow. "Alright." She placed that onto the bed, "Got the bow.. where is my arm guard... Oh right! I never got to finish making it!" With a silly giggle, the sunshine walked over to a small part of the desk that she had in her room. There was leather on the desk and big needles made to sew leather. Himawari grumbled as she remembered Hikari being bossy around her as she shrugged. The boat wasn't going to leave without her. She needed to be prepared for this mission. She sat down onto the chair and leaned forward as she was tightening the straps and made sure everything was firm and good. She slid it on for a bit, and it was the perfect fit. Luckily, she had time to add the roses and the vines on it earlier.
There were two. It wasn't just for her, but it was for Sonyo too! She had her bow with her at all times so she figures that maybe, an arm guard would be the perfect gift! Himawari felt a little bit down for a bit as she wished that she had this all ready for her earlier, maybe that would've cheered Sonyo up? Hmm. With that, she had an idea! She paused for a moment with her leather making as she looked around in her room. Finding the perfect box, she opened it and found little trinkets on the inside. Dumping the trinkets onto the bed, she placed the not yet finished arm guard into it and it fit perfectly! Alright. Placed the box onto the desk, she went back to working on the Sonyo's arm guard. Her arm was bigger, after all, she was an adult but she was petite. Humming to herself, she went to work and making sure it was perfect. No frays, no loose thread. She even tested the buckle a few times to make sure it would stay on and could adjust it too! You don't want it perfect fit because what if your arm gets smaller or swollen? It actually all depends on the weather! With that in mind, Himawari made sure there was space between the arm guards when you buckle it so you can tighten or loosen. Either way, as long the main duty was there, which was to protect the arm from the stinging of the bow.
Man. She remembered the first time she messed with the bow and didn't have an arm guard. She snuck out one night and got into the armory and played with some of the weapons. Decided to play with the bow, she did the dry draw and not only did it damage the bow, but she had a nasty scrape and bruise on her arm. In pain, Lin-Yu and Masahiro argued whether to heal her or not because Lin-Yu wanted the lesson to be taught while Masahiro wanted the pain to be gone. While they argued, the younger Himawari snuck away again, and just went to bed, figuring that she'll just heal right up! No problem! It also helped that she was of Hyouton bloodline so the ice helped keep it from getting too bad. That bruise stayed on for days. All done! She finished making both of the arm guards as a smile crept onto her face, it was the sweetest perfect smile you could ever see! Putting Sonyo's into the box, she placed the lid on it and found a ribbon to tie a bow!
With that, she placed both her own arm guard and Sonyo's gift onto the bed to make sure she had everything. Looking at the bed, she counted, One... two... ah! She was missing two of her weapons! They weren't done yet, they were still at the forge. With that, she needed to go to the forge and take care of her latter weapons. Humming to self, she changed clothes into something more comfortable for this mission but still professional. Checking her hair, she was satisifed how she looks. Sealing the bow into her arm guard, she pulled it on underneath the kimono sleeve. Once she was done, she skipped down the hallway and found Sonyo's room. Knocking, she poke her head in and saw no one. With a shrug, she entered and placed the box onto the bed along with her pile of flowers that she always gives to everyone. Made sure to give Wulfram and Lilian flowers too in their room and of course Masahiro, Himawari head out to finish smithing and pick up the rest of her weapons.

Rolled few times on the bed, she wiggled her legs in the ceiling as she laid on her back, completely bored out of her mind. Turned to her side, she can see Niko, her best friend forever was snoozing in the sunny spot from the window. Her room had lots of windows and higher up in the castle, so there was plenty of sun to peak in. Niko had different favorite spots during different times of the day. Her head turned as she glanced back towards the ceiling, watching as her feet were coming in and out of her view. In and out. In and out. Raised her arms, she had her hands outstretched in front of her as she just wiggled them. "I'm bored!" Himawari whined to no one. She could hear Niko snort in his sleep. With a deep sigh as she relaxed her arms, plopped them onto the bed. Sango had been busy. Masahiro had been busy. Sonyo had been busy. Wolfrum had been busy. Lillian had been busy. Lin-Yu had been busy. You name it, they are suddenly just so busy busy busy.
If she thought she felt invisible before, she truly does now. Even when she gets into the town, it was an everyday thing. With a deep sigh, Himawari rolled over and laid on her belly. On her bed splayed pictures of people. Her mother and Shukenji. Theo. And Theodred. Determined, she sat up with such fierceness, "We're gonna go find them Niko!" Himawari ordered as the sleepy Niko rose his head with a confused, "Mrrrow?" Took her time, she pasted the pictures onto a firm bamboo paper and slathered it with some protection so it wouldn't get wrinkled or tore easily. Niko yawned, void depths with teeth revealed themselves for a moment as he smacked his lips a bit and just doze off while just laying there with his head rose. Niko's tail twitched every now and then. Himawari then started to pack as she was starting to prepare herself. "Dad. I know you are always worried about me. No. I should not do that." She laid the clothes out on the bed. "Dad. This is my chance to prove myself. I made a promise to Theo a long time ago that I would protect and take care of Theodred. Until he decided to be a moron-" She started to punch her clothes to the bottom of the bag out of anger, thinking about how stupid he was. Just like that, she felt better, "And ran away from here. I want to go out and find him. Maybe even find Mom, Shukenja, and Theo along the way! This is my chance. Let me prove myself." She finished packed her bag as Niko turned his head towards Himawari before getting up and doing a biiiiigg stretttch! Threw the backpack on her back as she huff. This was a bit heavy. No matter! This would be good for her! "Let's go Niko! Let's fine dad and convenience him to let me goooo." With that smile, she headed out to find Masahiro
To her surprise, he agreed, under one condition. She has her set of bodyguards. With a roll of eyes and a few huff and puffs, he wasn't backing down. The blue-eyed female saw she didn't have a choice as she sighed and nodded in agreement that the guards can come with her. As stupid as it was to her.... she can handle herself just fine. Bid farewell,, Himawari and Niko was off to the world!
