The message conveyed was simple, if it came from anyone but him Mirai would refuse help. Derane would simply have to find a way on his own.
With the sudden entrance of an older woman the feral girl was forced to squish herself even lower to grow as she was now blocked on all fronts, first by the kage and now by an old woman? Mirai could feel an untrustworthy presence radiate off of her and was thus weary to take any of her offering. Instead the girl would resign herself to entrenching herself at Derane's feet and refusing to move.

This was clearly a delicate situation and whoever this orphan had been through a lot, she had to remember that it wasn't because of reflection of herself! She always came off as a nice caring person, or at least that was what she tried to portray herself as. Right? "I see.. if you won't trust me will you at least let Derane here take you to our sealer corps? There's plenty of people there who could help take that thing off of you and I'll make sure to give special instruction that they let your special friend here stay with you through the whole process, how does that sound?" Trying even harder now to paint on her happiest smile, Lahlil was already about to send one of her bats messagers that she kept around the village when there came an unexpected visitor.
An older woman from her appearance, although Lahlil hadn't the slightest idea who she was. "Uhmm.. I'm so sorry you'll have to forgive me, but I can't seem to recall how I know you..? __ Letting the candy sit in his mouth Derane stood there eyeing the cray old woman while she started playing with her bleeding gums right in front of everyone. Was that normal? I mean it wasn't like he spent alot of time around people but he was pretty sure that whoever this lady was was acting like a complete loon. That's when the taste hit. He didn't really know what describe it as, maybe a rotting corpse fit the bill? Either way it was enough to make him launch that candy out of his mouth at mach three while at the same time trying to scrub the burning off his taste buds, the little good that did him. "The hell, did you poison us you crazy old hag?!" Stumbling backwards in sudden shock the boy's eyes turned a shade of white signalling the action of his Byakugan, while a long thin needle crystal clear in color flung itself from his finger tips seeking to bury itself in the woman's head. Even performing that one technique however felt extraordinarily more draining than usual however, confirming at least in his mind that he had ingested poison.

__ With an almost super natural sense for battle, Mirai darted out from under Derane's legs on all fours like a rabid dog. The basic instinct in the girls brain told her that this fight was for people much bigger than her and if she wanted to survive it she had better started running in the opposite direction. Clearing the entire length of the room Mirai watched trembling from behind the exercise equipment at just what was going to happen here.

tabImmediately Lahlil started to choke up when the 'strawberry' candy hit her tongue. It was the worst tasting thing she had ever eaten! Almost as if it were sour rotten flesh sliding right down her throat. The sensation was enough to cause the Hokage to throw up right there on the spot. Hands still wrapped around her throat as even the normally sweet relief of emptying her stomach provided no relief from the after taste. While in this crippled state Lahlil could only sit back and watch as the older woman started to claw at her own mouth until blood came gushing from it. From there everything happened so fast, Derane, one of her genin threw the needle. The captured slave girl ran off, and the Lahlil clone sat helplessly here not having enough chakra to do anything about it. Curse her own lack for foresight!

Karuto had let Lahlil handle her official Hokage Business. Sure, they had some special connection, but she was also his superior and far be it from him to undermine her. So, yeah, he let her handle the weird goth boy and the collar girl on her own. It was only when the old woman came into play that Karuto really started paying attention. He refused the candy, of course. Empty calories and all. When the goth boy and Lahlil started choking he was quite glad that he had. It seemed the candy was poison or something along those lines. Karuto didn't miss a beat. He seemed to blur into invisibility, reappearing next to the old woman. His hand shot out at lightning speed, trying to seize her by the neck and lift her high above the ground. His movements were the result of a lifetime of Taijtusu training, a sort of speed most couldn't even comprehend let alone track. "Time to tend to the elderly!" He called out

tabGrabbing the woman with his immense strength Karuto would find to be more detrimental than anything. Her form squished and bulged in obscene ways, like a wet meat sack that would eventually pop in a sickly green gas the covered the entire floor. Lahlil, who had just now managed to get ahold of herself, got the worst of it. Smog lifting up in the air almost as if it were targeting her directly caused the Hokage to lurch forward abruptly. "I need to go home!" Were the only words she managed to squeak out before scurrying off and out the doors. Trails of puke fell in a smooth straight line right out the door to his dojo. At least Karuto won though!

Time sure does fly when you're helping to reestablish a village. Or more accurately, time flies when you're causing hell for those involved in the rebuilding of a village. It was an interesting transition period for Usagi. In almost no time at all, she went from assuming the country was totally unpopulated to being almost fully integrated into village life. No longer was she some random, stray bunny lost in the woods. Now, she was a fully fledged Genin of the neo-Konohagakure... though honestly, you'd never really guess.
Training wasn't something she did often; most days Usagi just ran around the village or stalked folks in her rabbit form. There was certainly a lot more playtime that actual training time. Today was a rare occasion, however. Today, she had every intention of training her little heart out. But as we all know, the best laid plans of rabbits and men oft go awry. The moment she entered into the training compound, an interesting sound began to fill the girl's lop-ears. ADD then did what it did best and pulled the little bunny off the beaten path, right into that of a pair of bickering twins. Okay, this was much more interesting than any punching exercises could ever hope to be. For now, Usagi would simply gawk at the pair as they trained, not even trying to hide the fact she was clearly staring.

"OH Feckin SHITE!" The male individual seemed to have been on the receiving end of a monster he'd created. The tempo prior had always been in synchrony, timed exchanges, back and forths but since his comment he'd been under duress non-stop. "Oy na sis I din't mean it swur." He would not even be dignified with a response as after receiving the next punch what appeared to be an ethereal elastic line seemed to be attached to the male's arms of which he used to block. He'd take notice of it and look at his sister in what could only be disbelief that also being heard in his voice. "You feckin wouldn't...""BET YER ARSE I FECKIN AM! The female grabbed this line and like a wrecking ball or yoyo would give it a yank and the man attached would begin to start being spun around with the woman controlling his centrifugal force in the center. The woman would let go at a peak tipping point sending her brother hurdling and as always their reckless antics would come at the expense of someone else. Clearly they didn't give two shits who else may have been in the room or who may have been watching so essentially a demetrius meteor was sent hurdling at the rabbit. "OHHHHHHHHH FUUUUUUUUUUU" of course he didn't have time to warn the girl to move but if she was reactive enough to dodge she'd get the sisters attention all the while the brother was kneedeep in rubble and workout equipment. If she failed well, cue the awkward slamming into one another scenes found in most anime that's totally not an opening to most harem anime.

[Yo-Yo Ma] takes an attached link and manipulates it manually as though it were attached to a string. This process, however, feels weightless to the siblings. The attached link then uses this object to pummel a 'linked' target or swing them or it around. The link is lost after this instance. [Whitesnake] does the same but attaches two links to two objects, then with an immense amount of force the two objects or people are brought forcibly together. [Diver Down] is simply a more powerful version of [Yo-Yo Ma] capable of pulling down buildings and using them as weapons. [Weather Report] is typically the follow up to [Fun Fun Fun] all established links are forcefully pulled toward their 'End' location causing massive amounts of destruction in its wake. The commonality of the technique being link tensile manipulation and that all these links disappear after use.
It's a really good thing Usagi was paying attention to the pair as they sparred, or she could have been in a lot of trouble. Animal instincts kicked in and the little hair sprung to life, bending slightly at the knee and catapulting herself into the air in a flawless dodge of the flying twin. Her feet gracefully made contact with the floor once again, barely making a sound as skin connected to wood.

When Usagi dodged the cannon ball brother he'd need time to recover. The sister would laugh thoroughly pleased with herself before taking notice of the spunky bit. Hands-on her hips she'd lean forward and ask questionably if not slightly taunting. "Oh wazzat flop top youz wanna go? Avin at it? All pepped in yer step? Cheeky aint cha? Lord be helping ya if yer In heat, Ima a lass that likes d**k ta much." The brother was then gone. As if having melded into the floor leaving behind the mess he caused behind. He'd reappear behind his sister all ghost like. "Bad enough ya clocked me now yer goin an pickn on gals cuter than ya outta envy. The little lagomorph's thought process would be cut off almost instantly as not one, but eight punches interrupted her mid dodge. Even her natural berserker's fortitude didn't stop the blow. Usagi was sent spiraling backwards, hitting the floor with a loud thud. Struggling to her feet, she'd offer the twins another warm smile and thumb's up signaling she was good to continue, though the bruises that now speckled her body, the slight buckling of her knee, and the beginnings of one hell of a shiner sure told another story. Not to be outdone, Usagi rushed the pair, closing the distance in a few simple strides. Once she was back within range, she'd leap into the air, offering a kick into the brother's jaw on her way up and a kick down onto the sister's skull as she descended.
