He watched her leave and come back through his room before leaving again. When she came back dressed in the makeshift pajamas she actually seemed rather cute. He shook the thought from his head and turned back to his desk, "Right, i just need you to hold this meter here." He said holding up a little stick, almost looked like a strange chopstick but when she held it down where he pointed, he grabbed another tool and began to adjust a couple things in his arm. He checked the number readout on the desk but soon enough he got it to a fixed number and nodded, "Thank you Kaylee." He said as he began to close up the circuit. After closing it, he moved and reconnected the arm to its base on his shoulder, a few audible clicks and soon he was moving it normal again, spinning it around like a human would stretch their muscles, "Much better." He said feel less drag on his arm.

He nodded and watched her leave, "Um, good night." He said as she was an odd girl but then went and got ready for bed himself. Once ready he went and laid down and would soon fall asleep as he got ready for the next day.

When the morning came, she could smell food cooking as Cody was in the other room. The tv or holographic display in the living room, the news was on and as she would walk into the kitchen, it was almost like fate,

"Today in the news, a fantastic discovery was made. A woman was found in a prototype cryostation and was frozen back in the year 2020. She slept for 300 years and is in perfect health. She has yet to be reached for statements as the chief of police states.

Cody's father showed up on the display, "The young woman was disorientated and I believed that until she settles into this time, far from her home. She is under protection detail and ask that her privacy is respected."

He laughed some, "Well think about it, a woman wakes up having lived so long ago, of course people would like to meet you. We have historians and such yes but think about how you could easily write abook of what you use to do in your life and how you use to live. Im pretty sure if you werent already rich, then it wouldnt be hard to get that way." He stated as he got her a plate but shook his head, "Well of course not, she created the look to be retro based on photos and such from the past but tried combining them with modern times. Personally i say just let things be." He said making them plates of food as he looked at her, "So ready for your doctors appointment?" He asked curiously to her.

He wasnt very pleased when she cut him off before he could defend fugure medicine but then again he knew she may have been a bit worried for nothing. He shook his head, "Alright, im just saying a medical station is a professional opinion." He stated but soon he would finish up and clean up a bit. When they were ready he would take her to the hospital, which aside from looking big metal and futuristic, it was a normal hospital. They got to the section for check ups and basic diagnostics, which was a short wait. The nurse who wore scrubs that were more or less the same back in the day in design, just more made with modern(future) methods. They got into the examination room and after a few minutes a door opened and in stepped in a basic frame robot. The robot looked like a metal maniquin but seconds later flashed a bit as it took on a holographic form, looking like a doctor in a lab coat, "Good morning, ah, Ms. Morgans, a pleasure to meet you. Not every doctor gets to treat a woman whose the first to awaken from 300years of cryogenic sleep." He stated kindly as small talk, "So what can i do for you today?" He asked as Cody chimed in, "give her the fully check up works Dr. Potts, on my insurance." He said as the doctor turned, "Ah, Mr. Carter, a pleasure as well seeing you again, hows your father?" He asked as Cody shrugged, "Busy, as usual." He said kindly.

Dr. Potts looked at her and shook his head, "Not entirely since most illnesses and diseases would be internal in the sense that if any were airbourne, then sensors would have picked them up, seeing as your body hasnt aged for 300 years then your bacteria hasnt either." He said as he walked over, "Hold your arm up please." He said as he gently took her hand, his right hand's fingers over her wrist as her pulse showed up on the wall display. Then he held his left hand over her bicep, his left hand turned mechnical as it wrapped around her arm with an odd fabric till it was taking her blood pressure. Before he removed his arms she would feel a slight pinch on her arm as blood was taken, as a tiny bit of gel that hardened quickly creating a tiny seal over the wound. Aside from the pinch she wouldnt know where the blood was taken. Soon more stats showed up on the displayed, "Well according to all this data from the tests, aside from a medicine cocktail to get you caught up on vacines, you are basically a healthy woman. Looks like here you are perfectly healthy save for some chemicals you probably had from food in your time, once those pass through your system you should be just fine." He said as he explained that, which Cody chimed in, "Well soon she will be visiting Venus, she wants to see how everything has advanced." He explained as Dr. Potts nodded, "Ah, so shes gonna need the treatment." He said a bit omminously.

The doctor looked at her but soon he went to a machine and picked up what looked like a strange device. Considering it didnt look like a syring, he clicked a few buttons and it began making slight and maybe concerning whiring noises, but as he approached her with it, the end opened with a tube like device. It had two rubbed tub like ends, but he looked at her, "Take the inhaler, stick each end into your nose and sniff deep. The aerosol of the vacines you need will be absorbed, but of course since you are going off world, one of the vaccines will make you woozy, so Mr. Carter, i expect you to get her home and to rest for a few hours." He explained as Cody nodded, "I know, dad had to do the same with me." He said with a wave of one of his gloved hands, "Kaylee, no need to be nervous, syrings were made basically useless when doctors found ways to deliver medicine via aerosol sprays inhaled through the nose or mouth. It delivers the medicines quicker and easier, and its popular for kids when flu shot seasons were still a thing. The same thing would have been done at a portaclinic but you wanted to see a doctor." Cody explained as Dr. Potts scoffed jokingly, "Yes but dont you just love seeing the friendly face of a doctor though? Also keeps me in the job as well when im wasnt checking your augment grafts." He stated kindly as he allowed her to take the inhaler like device to breath it in through her nose.

Cody watched as she took the medicine and practically saw her get woozy, and fall over, the doctor walked over and checked her vitals. He found that she was fine, vitals normal and all the medicine had been pretested to the sample he took from moments ago. Cody looked at the doctor but soon Kaylee was moved to a temporary medical room. It looked like a normal patients room and she was allowed to wake up on her own. Cody was sitting next to her bed and when she began to wake up, he smiled, sighing softly, "Oh, thank goodness youre awake Kaylee, you've been asleep for 3 days!" He said softly to her as he looked concerned but after a few moments he chuckled as he sighed, "Im just kidding, its been only an hour, i just wanted to joke around." He said softly to her.

Cody winced as she slapped his chest, "Hey, hold on, becareful where you hit, my chest is the few places that arent metal." He stated as he looked at her, "I only meant to joke... you wanted to see a physician, its always more intense and makes for woozy response. Anyway, today we are going to get you other things such as a travel luggage and such for Venus, not to mention you will need a proper pass port, it would have been like flying from one country to another. The moon is apart of Earth's territory in the galaxy but other planets are not." He stated as he looked at her, "Whenever you are ready we can head out, no rush though." He said kindly.
