The spunky little green cub stopped when the king gave them that look but she was still grinning. Then she spotted the other cub following him and bounded towards him. "Hi! Come play with us. Or are you hungry? I'm kinda hungry now that I think about it..." She sat down and thought trying to decide if she was more hungry or wanted to play more.

"Knarnia got a gazelle earlier, I believe yonug Mei helped her with it, no?" he smiled at the dark blue cub. "Help yourself to it, it's near the back of the cave, last time I seen." Adrastos looked at the little green fem who had a lot of spunk to her.

Jigsaw looked at the green female confused "play..?" he said but before he could hide it his stomach let out a low growling sound "um.."
"hes hungry" mei said giggling
Jigsaw shifted uncomfortably under the stares and at mei xings words

"Then lets eat!" Brigett said as she marched off to the food and got some. "Mei you are pretty brave to have help get this beast." She then looked at the little male. "Come on and eat. Then maybe we can play and have fun."

Jigsaw walked over after Mei Xing and slowly went to take a bite 'play? what is play?' he thought

Adrastos laid at the entrance watching the three cubs. The new one seemed to be shy, the little male. He laid his head upon his large paws. Knarnia seemed to be already asleep. She hadn't made a movement or spoke for awhile.

after he had finished eating, jigsaw walked over to a small corner of the cave to sit and clean himself
Mei Xing watched him go "do you think he'll wanna play with us?" she asked brigett

"I don't know Mei...he seems kinda confused when we talk about it..." She walked over to the little male and gave her fur a few licks before looking at him. "Hey...you want to play? Do you know what play is?" She blinked and waited for his answer. Maybe she was being too forward but she wanted to learn so she could help him smile.

Knarnia had already finished and began to sleep when the two new cubs, Bridget and Jigsaw, had arrived. The tribal lioness had had a rather tiring and exciting day, leaving with Adrastos, exploring the new territory and the hunt. Not even the playing ladies had snatched her from sleep, just making her roll to Adrastos's side, laying now on her own. The male's warmness provoked an unconscious smile, maybe a pleasant dream?

"Yeah he does" mei said looking at him
Jigsaw looked up at the green female, a slight hint of annoyence shown in his eyes "no...what is 'play'?" he said "i've just never 'played' before...i'm not stupid if thats what you two are thinking..." he added quietly
"jeez...grumpy much!" mei said sticking her nose up to him

Adrastos' head arose as the cubs got a bit anxious "Mei be nice." He gave her a bit of a glare. It was getting late so he made a decision for the cubs and got up trying not to disturb the slumbering Queen. "Come now, you must get some rest. Play can be for tommorow." He picked the cubs up and placed them so they were in a comfertable sleeping position. He nestled himself in between the entrance so if anything were to come in or out they would have to go through him first.

Dawn arrived with a gush of chilly wind and rough sand swiftly made Angela's fur coat it's home as a result. The itchiness of the sand woke her up in slight agony. "Gah, my fur!" she cried with distress. She shook as much of it off as she can, but the irritation continues. "Whatever," she mumbled, glancing in all directions. It seems the stream lead to a river that seemed to be never ending. Should I continue North up this river? She twirled around, facing against the strong and cold currents of the wind. She quickly turned back and whispered with a grimace, "Okay, North it is then." As she walked with the wind pushing her forward, she pondered where this 'adventure' would take her. Would I encounter a pride? A sinking feeling hit her. What would I do? What could I say?... She was but a lone cub, surviving day after day. A lone and hungry cub. Her stomach growled unpleasantly for what seemed like the hundredth time in a row. The day earlier she had happen upon fruit on a tree and feasted on them. That was then, and this is now; she was starving, ready to eat the dry grass off the earth. Plenty of time past and she figured she had traveled at least ten miles. She panted and hastily collapsed on a patch of flowers. Angela calmed a bit and observed the area she was in. Her heart raced as she caught sight of a group of lions, both young and old, nearby- possibly a pride. She gulped; would one of the many spot her? The young female crouched down in terror. Though she's keen to meet more of her kind, there could be a chance that they're the unfriendly type.

Adrastos awoke as the sun began to rise. He stretched his claws outside and let out a yawn which sounded a bit like a roar. He shook out his back legs as he took a morning walk outside. His fur quivered as it was cooler outside than in the den. He must have chosen a ver insolated den which was good. He looked as he neared the river, the breeze showed on the surface. Ripples following to the South. The male watched as the sun slowly began to rise.

Brigett sighed as she went and bedded down. She didn't want to sleep but she really didn't want to get in trouble her first day in a pride. She laid down next to Jigsaw and looked at him. "I don't think your stupid...I just...thought that you would like to be friends. You have only frowned since we met...why not smile?"

Knarnia was rarely the early bird, but she was snatched from her sleep when one of the first sun rays hit her on the eyes. For sleeping on the entrance, her orange fur had gathered a bit of dew, making her shine slightly as she woke up and stretched, yawning pleased. She glanced inside at the cubs. Oh, a male! Did she sleep so heavily? Turning her green eyes to the river, she could still see Adrastos's black and white outlines. With a smile, the lioness started heading out to meet the King when the sound of a nearby patch of vegetation rustled. "Wha?" she questioned herself, one of her ears folding in curiosity. Carefully, she approached, and with a paw movement to set the plants apart, her eyes widened. A pastel cub was hiding, trembling, and horribly skinny. "Hey hey! It's alright, no one's gonna hurt ya..." Knarnia said softly, grinning. "So thin, you must be starving! Come out with me, don't be afraid!"
