NO! Wildflower passed her as she was having a quick breather.... she gave a tiny, soft, sad mewl and less energetically ran on again and reached home. flopping down on the ground and drawing gasping breaths .. she had tried... and failed... this was why she didn't bother trying...

And speedy she was! Snapthroat zipped through, running passed Timberfall, and reached Exotichunt. Easy peasy. Now to go back to camp.

Running passed Timberfall once more, Snapthroat gave a mrrow of pleasure. She loved running. This was perfect.

 Brightstar watched the cats that looked like they would participate. And then they were off. She was Vastly surprised at the speed the first she-cat took off at... but in the end she enjoyed cheering for the cats! She was so glad to see Silverpaw participate, sometimes she worried about the apprentice. But then she was watching the cats come back. While she cheered she was a bit disappointed Rockclan had totally shown them up. She greeted the winner! "Welcome back! We know who our fastest warrior is! Shadowsong!"
As Fawnbriar came across the line she looked her over, making sure she was alright but then spoke. "And I can only imagine how fast Fawnbriar would be if she were feeling 100%! But to come in second is no small feat!"
What she watched next though had her on the edge of her seat! Silverpaw and Wildflower were neck and neck! She was scared to blink to miss it! And it was Wildflower!!! "Wow! So close! Good job both of you! Wildflower is surely Lightningclan's Fastest warrior! But Silverpaw is our fastest Apprentice!" She beamed and waited for Snapthroat, who had seemed to take off late, she was sure snapthroat would have been right up there with them all if she had left at the same time!
Once the She-cat was back she Waved her tail! "Wonderful! Good job Warriors! Shadowsong! As winner you get the biggest piece of prey from the pile tonight!" She looked over all cats gathered!
"The Next is a bug catching contest, since prey is becoming scarce its best to use bugs! Though if you find prey by all means take it for our kill pile! You can hunt bugs anywhere within Lightningclan or Rockclan Territory! Though the best spot for bugs i hear is by the river! Be careful but Go and win!!!"Ooc Bug catching: You only need to roll once! RNG a number between 1-10 for each cat! (You may roll multiple in the same post, just choose which gets which number before you roll!) Now add the rolled number to your hunting exp points found on the owner list! Thats the total number of bugs your cat has caught. Keep an eye out for interesting things! Even tired as she was, Silverpaw was going to hunt bugs. Maybe with Frostpaw. See the might bug menace in action now he was an apprentice not a kit

Frostpaw grinned. Bug hunting! His favorite! "Oh I so got this!" he grinned, crouching down and preparing to hunt. He had practiced so many times as a kit he practically had this one in the bag!
Except what he hadn't counted on was the fact that his new hat....kind of got in the way. Frowning, he rounded up his collection and padded over to Silverpaw. He counted hers then his and laughed. "Huh, we got the same!"
