Indeed, I worked, and it was super busy at work =) no worries, and hello big sis , biggrin heart thanks for recording my score 4laugh Oh yeah...that's right. I forgot that we chatted about that in a pm. emotion_facepalm I don't know about you but I'd rather be busy at work than bored to tears. I need more coffee. My brain is most definitely not functioning yet. Ah...babies are cute and funny but they most definitely don't let you sleep when you're finally ready to get some but neither do your family members. Audrey's been the worst. She can't leave Frankie alone while he sleeps so she ends up waking him up because she's either worried about him or wanting a toy that we put in with him or both. blaugh You're welcome. Happy to update the games and chat while I'm here. 3nodding heart Puppies and your older dog worrying aw!! so cute! but puppy is hard to raise right, lots of work,yesterday we worked in the garden, laboring the earth, today we'll plant our potatoes, tomatoes, yes a late start, with my mom in-law's funeral. son's grad , rain we lost alot of time, ah well, always fun, and now it's super hot outside, and the deer flies only so much the insect repellent can do! *Watkins* here in the North, seems nice weather starts later =) Yes. It's a lot of work but dogs are so awesome. I can't imagine never having a dog. Don't get me wrong, I love all animals (including cats that my daughter and I are hyper allergic to). But a dog, even though they say that most of it's life that it acts like a 2 year old, can show you so many expressions that you wouldn't think possible from one and do things that you wouldn't think that they could do. Like Hank, he was never trained to let us know when our sugar was out of whack but he checked us regularly and let us know when it was off. Yeah...we got our garden started late due to the rainy weather and other things too. Not your kind of things but things. How hot is it there now? It's been in the upper 80's F/upper 90's F here not counting the heat index. Oh...and we have a pumpkin or gourd...something growing in our front flower bed amongst our lillies that a squirrel planted. Thought you'd find that funny. I can't stand the flies...the drive me bonkers. I know about dogs affections, we owned Chummy, and I miss him greatly, was part of our family, my bf isn't ready for another dog, even thoguh I am, we need time for them, I keep myself occupied with my hens and rooster, and well we just have a garden for fun, but yes more for food, food gets so expensive too in stores, it's unbelivable, almost like the government, want to have all our money! It wants to control everything, that's why we want to be more self sufficient, look at what the food is doing to people making them obese, it,s not really natural you know, I mean so many people have cancers, sad really, here seems like to want a maturnal government controlling!, not me , we want to be free! I know that you do. Losing a dog/family member is difficult. That's for sure. We still weren't really ready for another when we got the puppy but I'm not sure that we were ever going to be ready. We knew that we were going to want another dog because we love dogs and can't stand the thoughts of not having one in the house so when the opportunity came...ready or not...we took it. Now, we have our little demon dog, Frankie (whose name may still be changed). lol So...it may be a matter of just going and getting one and giving it the love that it needs and the love that you need to give one. *nods* We have an itty bitty garden. We enjoy but like you, we'd prefer to be more self sufficient. Where we live, we can't have chickens but it would be nice. Maybe, we can get lucky one day and get a small house out in the country with some land so we can depend less on grocery stores. Yep. I agree with you about that too.
