"Oh okay. Sorry. I'm sure she would then." Remus laughed a little. "Yes it is in fact all real. It is pretty amazing though."

Erik chuckled. "It's fantastic." He then jumped at the sight of soneone appearing the corner of his sight. "-!!!"

"That's Mr. Bestil. I guess I should have let you know he is a spirit. It can be pretty surprising when he just comes out of nowhere. You'll get use to it though."

Erik looked over at Remus with wide eyes. "Um...are spirits different from ghosts?" His voice was calm, but there was a hint of worry.

Remus covered Erik's mouth and looked to see if Mr. Bestil had heard him. He let out a breath of relief. "Don't use that g word. He hates it." He whispered in his ear.

Erik tensed up as Remus covered his mouth. "O-oh, got it. Won't say it again." Well, at least he now knew they were two different things, but it didn't help ease his worry that ghosts werw real here. "So, um...what are spirits here?"

"It's the same thing really. But they don't like the ghost word since it has such negative connotations. Spirit just feels like less of an insult to them."

"Oh, really? Then, I'll try to be careful how I address them." Erik had calmed down, but he wanted to be out the library now. "So, um, what's next?"  

[Rent_junkie]

"I'll show you to the grounds. This way." Remus smiled and showed him the way out. "I love it out here. The weather is usually pretty nice. A lot of students will usually do homework out here."

"I can see why." Erik looked around a bit. "It must get pretty crowded out here." He frowned a bit, squinting at the sun. "It's really warm? Isn't it almost August...?" He turned to Remus. "Are you guys South of the Equator?"

"Yeah it does. But it's fine." Remus chuckled a little. "We are in another realm. So the equator isn't really a factor here. "

"Oh. Hm..." Erik looked back at the sky for a moment before swiftly looking back at Remus. "Wait, what? Another realm!? What do you mean by that? Are we...is this place...not on Earth?"

"That's not really an easy question to answer. I mean it is still Earth as in this place can only be accessed from Earth as far as I know. But it also isn't since it doesn't follow seasons and things like that."

Erik blinked, thinking it over in his head. "Um...like a pocket dimension? Like the sort tv show characters sometimes use for training or recovery?" He smiled a bit. "It actually makes a lot of sense. But, if this place is an extension of Earth, sort of, where do all these people who are non-human come from? Unless, thus is also a parallel realm when they can exist here naturally?"

"Yeah I guess it is like that. And they do exist on Earth. It is just they use magic to disguise themselves. Non-magic people haven't tended to handle it well when they find people different than them."
