Phaethon
He couldn’t figure out which was way up, down, or sideways with how things kept flickering in and out of his mind’s eye, but the screaming was impossible to ignore.
So off he went.

Nereid, Super of Waterfalls HP: 13/25 Damage:
The damage to her right was silverware stabbed into her side. She hadn't planned that her own trick of throwing it would return the same damage to her when the elephant ran into her.
She pulled a fork and knife out of her side, breathing heavily. It was easy to fall down, disappear from sight and power up to Nereid, where she could hide the damage and herself. She couldn't do anything to stop the pain, as blood seeped into her dress but...at least she could handle the pain just a little bit better.
The screams drew her attention and she moved upwards, whatever was happening, they needed to end it quickly.

Ayesha KamjikThe elephant burst apart, popping skin like overly thick bubbles as it shot hot ash across the room. Ayesha turned her back on the moaning destruction of the once-gentle giant. "You're all monsters!" She shouted hoarsely at the rest of the crowd. She didn't care who heard her. Didn't care if it cost her business. Her business — her circus — was ruined by performer and audience member alike. By her animals running riots.
She had every reason to leave. So leave she did, to see what other calamitous marvels awaited her next.

Jacques Lécuyer - Lion TamerHP: 16/20 Jacques was about to jump out of the way of the youma but didn't see it's trunk swinging right at him! And unfortunately since he did decide to try to jump so high, it smacked him right in the leg, causing him to turn around in the air before he landed on his side back on the ground. All he could do was let out a groan when he felt himself smack the hard ground His leg felt worse though. He coudln't see what had happened to it, but he knew there wasn't enough pain for it to be broken. He tried to get up and almost fell on when he tried to use his left leg. There was definitely something wrong with it. It was worse than just bruising. Perhaps it was a fracture? Versailled continued to look at it until he heard screaming from upstairs, which meant that there was more going on. He did another quick check of his leg, and then hobbled up the stairs to see what was going on. [Versialles EXIT]

Mags Butler
All that fightin' and tryin' to beat the darn thing down with her bare hands and feet (literally) and Mags ended up getting hit in the upper arm that had her reeling back in pain.
Gawdamnit.
This was NOT how this night was s'posed to go!
She followed after everyone else despite the pain because, well, what else was she gonna do?

Tobias spent far more time making sure that he and Eva were safe and away from the monster than he did even attempting to actually engage. The entire time, though, strange memories itched at the back of his head. It was bizarre, and almost painful; mostly because he was half certain this other version of him had it better than he actually did. This other him, who had no attachment to the Negaverse, no monster in human form hovering at the edge of his awareness ready to pounce if he stepped too far out of line. This other him who had made the best choice possible, and had proposed to Eva, had married Eva, was thinking about kids and settling down but their jobs with the circus were just so good and so fulfilling that it seemed strange to think of stopping.
The other him that had gotten away from his parents, that had done the right thing by his little brother and sister, that had a family that was whole.
Tobias almost wanted that life. It seemed like a good, comfortable, worthwhile life. But it wasn’t real, and he had to keep reminding himself of that. And the real him, the version that had to leave here, was in danger, and so was the real Eva, and so was everyone else in the room. Fortunately, there were other, far more competent fighters on call, and they seemed to be doing an excellent job handling the thing. Tobias swore he saw both Order and Chaos uniforms; sailor skirts and Nega jackets; side didn’t matter, this creature wanted to target all of them.
Finally, it came apart at the seams, and he let out a relieved breath.
But there were screams coming from the floor up, and Tobias couldn’t even think of not helping.
“Stay here, love. I’ll be back.” He promised, and then he charged for the stairs.
[a very late EXIT for tobias]
