Plus, being one of the ones who had some of those stars effect my Pokemon, they took some of mine. So, honestly, I don't think it is because of your work..at least not all of it,"she spoke.

Noah frowned. He knew she was right, they probably would have found her out eventually. She had Eilam, and he had Sunny--even if he hadn't been a spy he would have attracted their attention. Maybe not enough to imprison him, but certainly enough to cause trouble. "Maybe not all of it," he admitted.
"But still, it's my job to protect you."

But... How could he do something where he might be injured or cause Dea unhappiness? Or worse, something that might cause him to lose Dea forever?
He shook his head and placed a kiss on her cheek. "I don't want to go back," he said.

"Alright, just as long as it is a decision you will be happy with. Don't do it for my sake, okay?"she asked gently. She took his hand and squeezed it, she loved that he cared so much. However, she didn't want him to quit just because he thought it was what she wanted. What she wanted is that he be happy, that was what she cared about.

"Dea, as long as I have you I'll be happy," Noah said and cupped her cheek with his hand. "That's how it's always been. I don't want to lose you again." He couldn't bare it.
"Think I'll be a decent assistant, though?" he asked.

Did she want him to continue being a spy? Noah hesitated. He didn't think he could bring himself to do so, not after what had happened. He'd been held captive for three years. His strength had returned at last but that was physical.
"I'll be the best assistant there ever was," he said and smiled at his wife. "It'll be a better life for us. We can raise our children together." With no chance of either of them being taken hostage. A happier life.

"I have no doubt in my mind that you will be, dear. Just make sure to do what you love,"she reminded. She knew what happened to him had put him off from being a spy. She just hoped he didn't have too much expectations that they would be safe. One of her Pokemon was still a spy and she was not any normal human. She was a magnet for trouble, whether he was a spy or not.

What he loved... Hm. Pokemon, his family. What else to life was there? He'd been mostly successful at his job as a spy, until he'd been captured. He'd helped both pokemon and people out of bad situations. But then he'd gotten a mission that had required so much more than what he'd signed up for.
He'd lost his family. He'd lost his pokemon. He... Needed to change the subject. "So... We should tell the rest of the family our surprise! Paian and Eilam already know, but everyone else! They'll have a little sister or brother. How should we break it to them?"

Dea could see her husband was thinking, that it would take time for him to process things for himself. That was how life was, it didn't always go as one would like all the time. Bad things happened, but sometimes they just had to pick themselves off and get back on the horse. Her mind was brought out of her thoughts when she heard his question.
"Hmm,that is a good question. Maybe a special outing?"she suggested.

A special outing sounded nice, but he didn't know where they should go. He looked thoughtful. Maybe a park? Was it warm enough to go to the park? Were the kids too old to be entertained at the park? Maybe a picnic...
"Where to?" he asked. "Do you think they'll be excited?"

"Well, let me see, I think going somewhere that has something for everyone would work. Like a trek through the woods or to the mall,"she mused. She really wanted something fun for the whole family.

"A trek through the woods would be nice," Noah considered. He would be able to see what sort of pokemon lived near them as long as the wild pokemon didn't decide to avoid their group. He wanted the whole family to get together and have a good day--maybe they could order pizza after the hike?

"I think pizza afterwards would be splendid. We could even have some kind of ice cream sundae bar too,"she suggested. After all, everyone enjoyed building their own sundaes.
