One of the peacocks in front of her seemed very confused, Nembus noticed. He was spinning in circles. Was it a he? How did genders work for peacocks? The male peacocks tended to look fancier or whatever because they were showing off their plumage, right? That sounded like something she had read on Wikipedia once. She would check again, but it wasn't like there was a cell signal in mysterious bottles. Was he trying to find a way out? He'd be sorely disappointed. It seemed that the only way to get out was to play their ridiculous games--
Why was the peacock staring at her?
Did she do something wrong? Was she attractive to birds? Oh no. What if she was attractive to birds because of her bright colors and that was why they were staring at her?
She opened her mouth to ask what he was looking at, but then she noticed the sudden rushing of air above her head, and Nembus' eyes slowly moved from the confused peacock in front of her to what was hanging out above them.
"O-oh."
That was a big ship.
And it was falling.
Alarmed, Nembus squawked, diving away from the ship as fast as she could. Fortunately, it seemed like the ship smacked against the ground without hitting her, though she was fairly sure she saw some of the peacocks get stuck underneath it. Those poor birds. Hopefully, the one that had been staring at her was okay. Not that she was sure why she cared. Maybe it was because the idea of anything dying bothered her, even if it was a peacock.
"Mr. Peacock? You alright?" called Nembus, looking around.
The girl had tried to get out of the way of the large vessel that had suddenly appeared above everyone. Truly she had. But when one is five inches tall there is a lot more ground to cover in order to get out of the way of a giant falling ship. She had leapt off the hand of the civilian who had scooped her up earlier. She'd been alright with the situation and had been letting her guard down a little.
It seemed as if the civilian thought she had been something else. Would she ever find out?
It seemed as if time had run out for her though as she felt the impact from the ship as a massive blow and then nothing...
Mintaka fell into the new space with as much grace as she could muster. It seemed the bottle realm didn't seem to have much against her and Still, and it was curious that she felt pretty alright in the realm. The sparkling glitter of the bottles that looked like stars made her curious but she refrained from opening any yet. As it were, she was pleasantly separated from her husband and brother by the large crashing of a ship around them, hopping out of the way and shielding her eyes.
Once the loud crash was gone, She uncovered her eyes and looked around for her husband and brother, hoping they too, were able to avoid the ship.
"Aurostibite? Hydrus???" She cupped her hands over her mouth, using it to microphone louder. "Did you guys get shipped?"

Mlinzi [Inventory: 1 Health Potion]
Mel snickers and snorted, he tried to stop and even stuck a paw over his mouth but eventually he started to laugh once more. Even the human who had been by Lacerta commented on his laughter, particularly that if he didn’t take care Mel would run out of air. Considering how the cat was gasping the young man had a very valid point.
He couldn’t even stop when Lacerta poked him pretty hard in the side. It just made him giggle more even as he twisted out of her way. Why!? Why did the bottle make him laugh like a loon? Did it really matter?
Could one die from mirth?
The large cat sniggered even as he gasped for more air. He wanted to stop laughing. It hurt now. It really hurt. And he had to peeeeeeeeee! The cat mentally wailed even as he continued to laugh. He started to make silent deals with who ever, or what ever was listening. Promising things like never laughing again or not stealing food or even not having tuna for the next several months. Anything to make the laughing stop!
He had just promised to stop chasing squirrels when Lacerta leaned over and smacked him upside his head. With one last snicker the cat fell silent, only gasping for air as he lay there on the ground. The silence was so nice, but it didn’t last. “I gotta pee,” Mel said absently as he just lay there like a boneless stuffed animal.
Even as Mel did his best to get his aching body under control, primarily to squish the need for a bathroom, a giant boat appeared above the whole area. The lady said something about curiosity right before the floating boat showed up so apparently it was caused by someone doing something. Mel wondered what... and who.
Not that any of that mattered since he had to dive out of the way as the ship careened towards the ground. “Well, ship you too!” The cat shouted at the boat as he scrambled out of the way. He was sore, and had to really potty, so moving fast like really stunk.
The bottle lady is a real piece of work that’s for sure.
Unfortunately, they all looked equally as ... threatening. He didn't exactly look at any of the trials and think of any of them as places he wanted to take Basiluzzo into, especially considering tonight was just supposed to be a training patrol and he hadn't wanted Basiluzzo to be stuck in any kind of a mess at all. Usually, the park was calm. Usually. Apparently not tonight...
Encke sighed, eyeing the set of four bottles just hanging out in the air in front of them. Which seemed to be the best option?
"I mean, I guess I've always wanted to go to the sea?" offered Encke, with a hopeless shrug, before he got distracted by that damn disembodied voice talking again. What was it now--
Oh.
A giant ******** ship.
Encke coughed when he spotted it above him, pointing at the boat just ... hanging out over the heads. He then, when he realized that this was probably not a good sign, snatched Basiluzzo by the arm and attempted to bodily yank him out of the way. At the very least, Encke managed to yank himself out of the way, which came as a relief as the felt the air of the boat just go rushing by him.
"Maybe we shouldn't open the bottles," suggested Encke, warily, as he glanced over to where the four large bottles were just hanging out. "And maybe we should consider leaving this area."
Not that he was sure the four trial bottles were any safer.
But then again, at least they didn't have giant falling ship bottle death from above happening.
MEISSA IS ENTERING (already did Ship roll. Rolling for a new bottle)
Well at least she was still alive - technically. Meissa brushed off any remaining dirt that she could see off of her fuku before sighing and looking around. She could still see people in the distance and instead of going over to them she decided to look around for Moira again. Surely now that she was back to regular size it would be easier to spot each other. Clinking bottles drew her attention to two that were gently swaying and knocking against each other. Remembering the last bottle the girl was hesitant to even touch one. However that old line about curiosity and cats got the better of her.
'At least it will stop the bottles from smacking into one another,' was her thought as she reached up to grab one. Almost instantly did the sound of clinking cease and Meissa sighed in relief. 'Much better,' she glanced at the bottle she held. "But what to do with you?"
Slowly, and with a careful twist did Meissa break the seal on her bottle. As the mist poured out and surrounded her, her one thought before things went south was 'not again.'
However the result was not the same as before. The teen suddenly found herself shooting upwards to a rather impressive height. She glanced down at the people below and slapped herself on the forehead. Maybe she could just stand in one spot and pretend to be a statue. Well ... on the plus side, she could be certain that Moira would spot her now.
Quote:
19: There's a mysterious mist that covers you when you open this bottle. You suddenly grow to 15 feet in height! Your HP is double, and your attack is doubled. This effect disappears if you enter a trial bottle!
"I mean, I do like the ocean?" Basiluzzo didn't have any idea either, to be quite honest. Once this was over, he was going to curl up under a blanket with some hot chocolate for a solid three days, and no one was going to be able to-
Oh, what the ******** was that?
The giant ******** ship got a good stare from Basiluzzo for approximately five seconds before it began to fall. Encke's yanking was successful, and the ship also missed Basiluzzo by mere inches. Breath coming a bit hard and fast due to the adrenaline running through his system, Basiluzzo stared at the ship with wide eyes.
The words that came out of his mouth next were not nice.
In fact, they would have garnered a PG-13 rating, if not an R.
Once his litany had concluded, a breathless, "I have no complaints about leaving the area. If it's through one of those bottles, I won't be happy about it, but I don't want to be here."
Phaethon realized very quickly that she didn't see him as an enemy. Or, at the very least, she was staring back at him with a not-insignificant amount of confusion.
He sympathized, frankly.
The change in the wind also drew his attention, and Phaethon looked up, jaw agape, at the giant ship swaying above them. This gave him a horrible feeling, a very primal monkey-brain 'this is not good' heaviness in the gut. Then, the ship began to fall. Phaethon squawked as he dove out of the way, tucking his body into the worst example of a tuck-and-roll he had ever seen or experienced.
But, that being said, it did get him out of the way of the falling ship. Instinctively, he got to his feet and scanned for the corrupted senshi he'd seen. The last thing he wanted was for her to take this opportunity to sneak up on him. That would be no good at all.
Oh. Oh no she was right there.
Right there.
It seemed, in their hurry to get away from the falling ship, they had both zigged in the same direction rather than someone zagging. Phaethon was now looking at her in very close quarters. Very close proximity.
She was right there. She asked if he was okay.
He panicked.

Page Aogashima
Maybe being more than double her height should have given her some sort of advantage in getting away from the giant ship, but Aogashima was not the brightest star in the sky at times. Needless to say, she was unable to get out of the way in time, before the ship landed on her.
Well, that was one way to end her career before it even started.
Especially if there were going to be more ships just spawning from small bottles. He had no interest in playing this game. Arguably, he had negative interest in playing this game. He didn't really have any interest in playing the damn disembodied voice bottle trials either, but--
He needed to get Basiluzzo out of the way of ******** ships, at the very least.
Still holding on to Basiluzzo's arm, Encke evaluated the options in front of them. There was a creepy bottle, a bottle that looked like the sky, a desert-looking bottle, and the aforementioned ocean bottle. The creepy bottle was a definite no--
Opting for one of the other three bottles, Encke headed off in that direction.
Grabbing a piece of wood--a relatively small one all things considered--from the debris that had scattered when the ship fell, Phaethon instinctively chucked it at her.
She was fairly sure the peacock noticed her. He was looking at her, at least. All of his plumage seemed kind of flared up. Was something wrong?
... How the hell was it picking up a piece of--
Nembus didn't know what was coming at her before it whacked her in the face, square in the nose. "Ow!" What the hell? Why did he do that?! Why were these bottle dimension-dwelling peacocks so mean? Did they usually act like this when they were in a damn panic?
"Why did you do that?"
It probably because he couldn't understand her. Damn peacocks. So mean.
She absently fiddled with her little potion bottle, eyeing the four larger bottles. She knew that they needed to be dealt with before anyone would be released. The lady’s voice said so. So she knew she would have to ‘go into’ on of the challenges to try to help clear it. The sooner the better if the threat to their lives was really real.
And yet she still hesitated only to jump when the disembodied voice spoke once more. Chiding then for their curiosity right before a giant ship appeared above them all. The young teen frowned at the bottom of the sailing vessel only to shout in surprise when it started to hurtle towards her.
She scrambled out of the way, making her way clear of the boat, and saving her neck but promptly ran into someone in her flight, bouncing back onto the ground. Botein muttered an apology as she sat up and glanced at the person she ran into... a huge person. A Alice in Wonderland kind of huge person. “Wow! Your so big!”
Being sucked into a bottle was... Disconcerting and not something that she really wanted to repeat.
She was pretty sure that she was no longer in the park, even if she had no idea where here actually was, grey eyes glancing around her new surroundings in an attempt to see if Gunningite had been caught up in whatever the black mist was too.
And whilst she didn't spot the brunette, Reinerite did spot a familiar figure in the form of her General–
She started towards him, had taken a couole of steps forwards towards him and those around him, but the sound a voice suddenly speaking had her pause, a puzzled frown flitting across her face as it talked about curiosity, about it being dangerous–
And then grey eyes widened as a huge ship suddenly appeared above her head, the ship somehow, inexplicably suspended above hers - and by extension it seemed - those trapped in wherever here was.
Then with an ominous creak the ship was falling, falling and whilst it was instinct to try and push herself out of the way, Reinerite wasn't sure that she was going to make it out of the way in time–
She did - albeit barely - feeling her hair move in the wake of the thing's impact, lying on the ground for a moment chest heaving before she pulled herself to her feet and starting to walk over to where she had seen her General, hoping that he too had managed to avoid the giant ship.
