I know that evil can be darkness and that's not a good thing. But you'll be safe once we get to the castle, Kitty. Brandon, my king, has faced evil before that threatened Kyrandia before and its a really long story. As for Brandon's family, His grandfather, Kallak, is what he has close to family left. I should also mention that Kyrandia also has an undersea kingdom counterpart which is ruled by merpeople, led by a Sea King and his queen, they have 6 daughters as their children.

Johnathan turns around to see Kitty as a human girl. That's great. So you know magic? The Blue Gem on the amulet can create enchantments, while the Red Gem on the other hand, I don't remember what magic it contains. Need an escort to Castle Kyrandia? King Brandon should be home. Johnathan drew his sword. I don't see anyone but us two here and Brandon's at the castle, Kitty. If there was anyone else here, I would see it & anyone that would threaten Brandon's kingdom will have to deal with me and the other adventurers. Oh and one more thing. Does your magic include removing curses? If so, then maybe you could use it to save someone in case his or her heart have been completely overrun by darkness. Johnathan then began to escort Kitty to Castle Kyrandia by going through Timbermist Forest.

Meanwhile in Timbermist, a cloaked figure what appeared to be lost in the woods. She had blue eyes, short black hair, was armed with a Strange Key & was wearing a single black leather hooded coat, but she didn't look like a threat but seemed suspicious. This cloaked figure was one of Organization 13's members, although being a nobody, she made the made the decision to leave the group. This decision would change destiny itself. I'll become an Adventurer, on my own. Once I do, I'll have something that I've longed for... new memories.

Kitty, I think this girl is kind of lost. Maybe we should help her. Johnathan pointed his Sun Blade at the girl that wasn't too far away.

Hello? Who's there? The girl held her Keyblade, then lowered her hood to show her face. She tried to summon a Keyhole Portal back to the castle with her Keyblade but nothing happened, she was stuck in a strange world, one that's far beyond The World That Never Was & Castle Oblivion What is this place? She was scared as she was alone in the woods but relieved now that she's found the main pathway. Excuse me, but I seem to have lost my way. She knew that since was wearing Black Coat, she didn't look like anything as an Adventurer.

Johnathan approached the strange girl. Friend or Foe? Johnathan had his Sun Blade Ready in case the Black Coated Girl would fight back.

Back where I came from, they called me Xion. Xion made her Keyblade vanish in case she needed it later then she frowned a bit. I don't really have a place to go to. May I join you?

Everyone should stay close, Kitty. As for Xion, when we get to the castle, she can get cleaned up and given some fresh clothes to wear as well as a place for her to stay. Linda, the king's chancellor & Castle Caretaker, can help both of you out.

Xion smiled as soon as she heard that she would be given a place to stay. Thank you. I've heard of some worlds being made up of islands, but I'm not so sure what island this is.

This island is my home & its called Kyrandia. Its an Enchanted Island that's very rich in magic all thanks to a powerful artifact known as the Kyragem, Xion. This island has 2 kingdoms, one is the Surface Kingdom ruled by King Brandon and the other is its Undersea Counterpart ruled by the Sea King.

I see. I wish that there was something I could do to repay your king's kindness. Xion thought: "Where am I going? Soon I'll know the answers." During her time with the Organization, she spent her time fighting Shadows known as The Heartless which were those without hearts. The 3 continued along the path until they reached Castle Kyrandia. As Xion reached Castle Kyrandia, she was lost in thought as she saw Castle Kyrandia, it was amazing, unlike the castle where she was from. So, this King Brandon of yours is inside?

He sure is, Xion. Johnathan knocked on the front doors of Castle Kyrandia, hoping that someone would answer the front door.

Hello. Is this the castle of King Brandon?

It is, he's currently in the throne room with someone but your welcome to come in and wait. Linda then felt a sudden cold chill as well. You better come in quick because something's wrong here!

Xion summoned her keyblade. I think that its The Heartless. The winds must have drawn this dark storm here. If this storm continues spreading from the mainland to the other lands, then it could destroy this world by causing The Heartless to swarm in and whomever is controlling them & has caused this storm. Do you know who's causing this?

Johnathan and the 2 girls entered the castle just in time then Linda sealed off the gates.

I'll warn the Undersea Counterpart about this Dark Storm and whoever is causing this after Brandon is done using the Mirror to talk to Marina's friends and Family. Its my guess that the person doing this must be a Dark Lord.
