It would seem that this bunch were a little rowdy.. That was fine. For now. As long as they didn't get any rowdy-er then this, then things would go along swimmingly! The one sitting on her desk, or was, seemed.. Familiar. But then again, she tried to make it a habit to not remember children. They would shape the future, as so long as they played a 'honest role' then no harm would need to come to a child! They would pave the way. Dark eyes set across the room once more, looking at all the fresh faces she could work with. To manipulate. Another smile full of fake sunshine graced her face. It seemed her question got many of the student's minds turning, though, some still seemed like they were above her and this entire class. That wouldn't do. Namely, a pinkette, who's person just seemed to ooze with a sense of being walking another line, one far from her peers and above them all. Something to work with, hopefully.. Not a hindrance. Hopefully. Another face popped in late, also seeming like she a had a higher-then-thou personality.. This class just got more and more of a handfull, huh? Perking an eyebrow to the blonde, noting that she indeed see the small girl slip in. Someone was going to get an assignment already! Good. If you are rough on them in the beginning and then slowly release and be kind to them later on, they'll slowly become something like your best friend... Somewhat shy of leading them on in education!
Oh! It would seem a brunette would try to sneak inside now- how silly. Another one to rope in. Perhaps she could play a two for one card and perhaps get the girls to be friends if they weren't already? Even if they didn't, there was sure to be some student here who could easily become the starting point- 'the star pupil'. Again, she would loom her gaze over the entire class, wondering just what their minds were thinking.. And how exactly did they think about this question. Before the woman could go back to the red-head who moved to a seat now, there was another voice who spoke up. It quickly caught her attention. "That is correct, Miss." Saieen fully faced the dark haired female who sat upon another students lap.. "Though you are right, I will have to ask you to move from your more preferred seating--" After waiting a few moments for the words to set in, turning back to the full class. "While most of you, I'm sure, came up with beautiful answers.. There is indeed a true number two rule! Working together. But I am not talking about having a partner or working with other heroes. As that does, indeed, come in handy, what I mean is that a hero does not just fight for themself. They fight for us all. They must keep in mind of civilians just as much as they do for their comrades! I am sure some of you may remember a few years ago that there was a hero who could control the roots of trees, most of you know of him by the name Stag. During a run in with a band of villains, he was by himself. In dense areas, his particularity can be dangerous. He may have stopped the band of villains, but it also resulted in the collapse of a major building and caused many fatalities as well as injuries." A sigh pushed from her lips as Saileen rested her arms behind her back, holding her other hand by the wrist as she shifted her weight to one side.
"As I keep my word, you indeed were not fully wrong, sir. And ma'am. So, both of you are excused by this pop quiz. But in return, you shall go first with your introductions--" As if literally saved by the bell, the signal for the class to end rang through the room. "My! I seem to have given you all a bit more free time then I should have.. Well, alright. Instead of a pop quiz, this will be homework, so, you have a while to fill it out! Next class, we shall, again, have our two lovely students who so graciously answered my question, to introduce themselves first, while the rest of you will then follow suit by order of when you turn your homework into me. I expect all of you to be here next class, as well as on time." Turning away, the woman grabbed a pile of papers off her desk and stood at the doorway, handing out the pieces to each student as they left the room, bidding them goodbye.

A lot was going on this morning. The sapphire-eyed teen glanced down towards as Prom appeared to talk about their professor. ’Aren’t they called Knockers because their big enough to knock people out?’ The very image of a massive woman with a large set popped into her mind. Thinking about someone like that walking down the street was raising the corners of her mouth upward. Actually envisioning someone who had the capability of knocking some poor soul out with those lumps of fat was kinda amusing. The laughter never did leave her mouth but she was smiling at this point. But the silly scene never did last as something drifted into her mind about the redhead. ’Is Prom Prom okay?’ The question could have been answered by the male’s current teasing expression but there was something more to it. If she hadn’t learned about it then there would have been no way for her to understand that Prom was acting differently. Did the others know? Would they pick it up? Maybe that could be discussed a little bit later.
Students came in but not much thought was given to them if any. It wasn’t until the lavender-haired professor came in that caught the teen’s attention. The woman really did have a large set and seemed to command the room, along with Prom’s behavior. Something about a pop quiz grabbed her attention along with a question. In all honesty, the Alaric member didn’t give it much thought. Heroism was never something she foresaw for herself, nor given much thought. There was little she could do to assist her fellow classmates regarding this question. Some students appeared to have answered of their very own before the teacher spilled the more correct answer. Once more, such a revelation regarding heros was given very little care. ’Working together….I don’t know.’ Casting those lapis jewels down at the desk, Becca could only think about the solo work she was sent on. With a peculiarity like hers….it was hard to imagine her with a partner or anyone that would work with them. It was much easier to envision someone using her ability for their own benefit than the benefit of all.
With the bell signaling that the class was done, people began to shuffle to grab their belongings. Being directed to grab their homework assignment, the girl climbed down the steps and approached the professor to retrieve the paper. Once that assignment was placed in their backpack, Becca directed herself to Prom and whispered where they would meet up into his ear. ”If you haven’t changed your mind you can catch up...” Looking at their classmates, there could have been a number of people who may have wanted to talk to the redhead. It wasn’t as if Prometheus was her property or anything of the sort. People were free to converse with whoever they wished after all. With a small wave and a smile, the Alaric member departed. -Exit-

It was a bit of a shock when the teacher announced that the lesson had come to an end, but not wanting to run the risk of knocking into anyone, Patrick would waste little time in packing away his things and shouldering his backpack before making his way to the door. Although his hands were perhaps the most dangerous parts when it came to his Peculiarity, he didn't want to take any chances, so first out the door meant he would be free to return to his Dorm Room without altercation...
One of the first to receive the Quiz paper from Ms Yuuna, the Curse-Giver would nod quietly in acceptance and then promptly slip the page into his bag - He probably had a few days to work on it, but believing it to be exactly that - a Quiz - he knew that when he actually did make a start on it, the best chance he had at passing it would be to hit the Library and find the answers through research... Sure, he could find it all out on the computer, copy and paste and such, but he could almost feel his Aunt's unappreciative glare burning into the back of his mind as she scolded him for 'cheating' and so the Library seemed the best option...
With his Dorm Room being the first location on his mind, Patrick would step out into the corridor and set his mind on LeVane's Common Room.

Sky sat there and listened to the explanation. He couldn't help but feel like these were commonly easy questions to answer, regardless of their want for being a hero or not. In all honesty, Sky knew this better than anyone that day at the fire. It still haunted him and the fact that it was blamed on him, made him more pissed from just the recollection. The two students, the red head by the front, and the brunette girl had given their explanations, while at the same time, other students were walking in late. This had been a common thing that happened for Sky back in his high school. Students talked and chatted until the teacher came in, and some still continued. The others would just come in late, Sky included. It pretty much was the same thing, but with a giant castle. Good news was, that the bell rang before the pop quiz could even begin. Better the bell than to sit there all day. The school day was over, and he couldn't help feel happier about it. Grabbing his skateboard, something caught his eye. There was a girl just a few ways from Sky, who just a moment ago, was drawing in her notebook. It looked really good, compared to Sky who only specialized in graffiti and street art. He was pretty good, but people still hated that he would "vandalize property" and call it art. Pretty much, that was the gist of it back in his hometown. Approaching her, he wondered what to say, and as he would get closer, he would just say the first few words. Hey, umm... I like what you drew. It looks pretty good. Sky said, hoping he's not being as awkward as possible.

Having taken a seat somewhere up near the front of the class, Noriyo's gaze flickered tp the various faces of the students around her. She wondered if she was the only one feeling surrounded by unfamiliar faces, as many of the other students either greeted friends they knew, or were beginning to join in the conversation of the small group that stood up by the teachers desk. Sighing, she reached up to brush her fingers through her hair. If her father had put her application in earlier, perhaps she wouldn't already feel so lonely on her first day of class.
'It's not like Father sent you here for friends anyway.' her thoughts reminded her. Frowning, she let her blue eyes settle onto the desk in front of her as she simply waited for the teachers arrival.
Upon the teachers arrival, it feels like the class breezes by quickly after that. It's a good thing Noriyo hadn't piped up to answer the question that Ms. Yuuna had asked, as she would have gotten it wrong. Drawing one of her cards out of her bag, the girl hoped the teacher didn't mind as she summoned the notebook out from within the card. She pulled out another card that contained a pen, quickly grabbing it before it could roll off her desk.
Clicking the pen, she flipped to the first blank page in the notebook and quickly wrote out the answers that her fellow classmates had provided, before also writing down the answer that the teacher had told the group. Looking up, Nori jerked in shock when the bell soon rang, signaling the end of class. "Wait, class is over already?" She questioned softly.
A boy is already pushing himself out of his seat, stopping to pick up their homework before he is making a beeline out of the classroom. A few other students follow out, but some are still lingering back. Licking her lips, Noriyo again looks over the students that still remain in the room.
Slowly rising from her seat, she made sure her pen and notebook were back inside of her cards, before tucking them safely back into the small bag she had with her. Approaching the desk, the girl picked up one of the sheets, her eyes looking over the questions. Honestly... She only knew a small handful of the answers, and the personal questions at the bottom.. How was she suppose to answer those?
"Um.." Clearing her throat, her eyes lifted from the paper in her hand so that she could look up at the purple haired woman. She was about to question on how they were to answer these more personal questions, but snapped her mouth shut before the words could come out. Giving an apologetic smile, she quickly darted away from the desk with the paper held in hand.

Surprisingly no one seemed to pay him much mind when he sat down, the teacher included. It was as if she hadn't even seen him walk in, which was a first to him (considering how tall he was, and no where near the complexion of a ghost either). Dajanté was almost tempted to plug in his headphones while the teacher responded to the red-head's answer and, subsequently, the girl who had spoken up that Dajanté totally missed. So far, the class was looking to be pretty boring, and Dajanté hated boring with a passion. He'd give the teacher until next week to redeem herself, give them an actual syllabus detailing on her plans for the semester before he stopped showing altogether, gathering the assignments from others to turn in behind the scenes.
All too soon the bell rang, and the teacher was turning what was supposed to be a pop quiz into homework. Talk about lame. Dajanté scoffed and rose from his seat, stumbling along toward the door with the others. He nodded when he passed his roommate, hoping she hadn't somehow read his mind earlier. (That would make for some uncomfortable nights if so.)
Well that was a fast class. Weren't they supposed to last longer than that? Not wanting to dwell on it too long, the LeVane student took the sheet of paper when handed to him, and wished the teach a good day on his way out, paper lightly gripped in his hand the whole way down the hallway, backpack slung over one shoulder.
He was so glad he packed his workout clothes, 'cause he really wasn't feeling stopping at his room just yet.

He kept his seat as everyone else filed out of the class. For them, the day was over and they could report to work or the grounds or wherever else their fancy took them, but not him. No, he had to be the student that didn't really speak the language of the school, so after class, he was to be tutored in English by the only faculty member who shared a language with him. Yep, that's right, he spoke three languages fluently, and thus far he only knew of two people he could converse with. And one of them was computer boy who could speak practically every language. He started working on his homework while he was waiting, knowing it would take him five times longer than anyone else to answer it. Maybe he would be permitted to answer in Chinese? It still showed what material he knew, right? Well, if nothing else, he would write the answers out in Chinese first, then if he was told to change it, he could just translate his own words into a calamity of incorrect grammar and inaccurate word choices. Worse, this was the only class he could do that in. None of his other teachers shared a language. Well, he had at least one Japanese teacher, right? At least they could sort of figure things out with the written language. Surprisingly, while the spoken languages were not at all similar, the written ones were, and someone who could write in Chinese could actually sort of understand things written in Japanese. Well, in one of the alphabets, he couldn't remember which one.
While he was working, a spectral mouse ran out of a wall and started sniffing at his hand. Without shifting his attention, he reached over and began petting the creature, scratching it behind the ears much to the mouse's amazement. It nuzzled against his hand and even gave him a few appreciative licks before scurrying up his arm to sit against his neck. To an observer, he probably looked like an idiot who was petting the air, but he had long ago gotten used to people giving him strange looks. He didn't care anymore. As long as the animals were still happy to be around him, that was all that mattered. Though finding a girlfriend would have been nice as well...
» Candace made sure to take notes as Ms. Yuuna introduced herself and began class. The mention of a pop quiz had her stifling a groan, but she still didn't raise her hand to answer the question. Instead she wrote down her peers answers, and Ms. Yuuna's answer in between bouts of doodles. Her margins where full of flowers and cartoon like bees of different sized by the time the bell rung and saved them from introductions. She'd been finishing off a large lotus flower when she was interrupted. Brushing her hair back out of her face as she glanced up, Candace shot him a bright grin. "Thank you! The biggest one is a lotus flower." She tapped the drawing, in case he was interested in flowers. "Do you draw too?" She asked curious.
» Remembering her manners, she stood up from her seat and extended her hand for a handshake, "I'm Candace, nice to meet you!" It was then that she noticed the skateboard, "Nice board, must be nice to skate around campus." Maybe she should learn too? It looked fun! "Can you do tricks?" That would probably make for some cool pictures.

In a qay, Sky could tell that he slightly startled her, in which he would mentally kick himself for doing like an idiot. Either way, she didn't seemed bothered by him, unlike his last school before coming here. She was actually pretty nice, which was a relief for him. He shook her hand, and bowed politely. I'm Sky Howard. Nice to meet you. As she explained about her lotus flower, Sky saw the detail behind it, which made it look very realistic for that of just a doodle. It looks so lifelike. Like, actually extends out the paper, lifelike. Sky said, as he would see the drawing. As he would admire her work, Candace asked if Sky drew himself. In reality, yes, but it would be more on the line of spray painting. Yeah, actually. But I'm more of a painter myself. I'm alright at it, I guess. Sky would say, not noticing his feet levitating ofthe ground. As he did, Sky would quickly grab the nearest desk, which would bring him back to the ground. He prayed she hadn't noticed. It felt nice being normal for a change, instead of being classified between peculiarity or human. After hearing her question about his skateboard, Sky thought about it and knew that it would spark curiosity in anyone. Oh yeah. I had it for a long time now. And I never thought I'd ever skate in a large castle before, so that's off my bucket list. Sky would explain with a chuckle. After giving it some thought, he came to a conclusion. I can, but wanna try riding instead? He asked her.
Shiden was quite astonished at the briefness of class. He didn't think it'd be over this soon, but he was counting his blessings! Giving a moment to collect himself after thinking on the question that the teacher had given out, Shiden would give Yukari a tight embrace and look up at her pretty red eyes with a smile. "Want to go work on this homework then get lunch?" He asked her, seemingly more than happy to have had her sit on his lap for all of class. It was warm and nice, even though everyone else in class stared at them weirdly. He wanted to get a few things done besides nap, of course, but he would defer some of his plans to his girlfriend.
Nonetheless, he didn't want to sit here and be the last one out, so he'd lean up to Yukari and gave her a light kiss on the cheek before carefully helping her stand as he got up, slung his bag over his shoulder, and beckoned to her to follow along as he passed by the teacher, collected his homework, and headed right on off!

﹛ Being asked to remove herself from Shiden's lap, Yukari flashed the teacher a bright smile, but didn't budge. It wasn't as if she had long to relocate herself to a different seat anyways. While she was given an out for the sudden pop-quiz, it became apparent that she were to introduce herself to her peers during next week when they would return to this classroom. Was it because the teacher was new, that they had to introduce themselves to their classmates? Half of the students in the room already knew each other, there were only a few unfamiliar faces.
Shrugging her thoughts away, she smiled when she felt Shiden's arms tighten around her. As the class was dismissed, she raised an eyebrow when she watched Patrick take a quick exit. How interesting..
Turning in her seat.. or, Shiden's lap, the young woman smiled when she felt the press of his lips against her cheek, before he was helping her off of his lap and onto her feet. "Lunch sounds good. Did you want to go to the library for help with the homework?" She asked, tilting her head as her red orbs gazed up at her boyfriend.
Reaching down, her hand sought out Shiden's, taking it and twining her fingers between his own as she pressed into his side. Since Winter Break, the female student had become a little more clingy to the tall male. But, if anyone were familiar with her home life, it would have become apparent as to why she acted the way she did with the male student. Growing up without familial love, she was grateful to Shiden and the attention and care he gave to her.
It honestly made her sometimes rethink her decisions she had already set for her future. Would it be worth it, possibly losing the one person who truly cared for her because of a point she wanted to prove off to the parents who never gave a damn? "C'mon." She gave his hand a small tug, urging him out of the classroom.﹜

» Sky was his name and Candace's grin brightened as he continued to praise her artwork. She'd thank him again, before asking if he drew too. She went on to pack up her things as he answered and was pleasantly surprised when he said he was a painter. "Don't sell yourself short, I bet you're great!" She'd reassure, her focus on her bag as she pulled out her phone. Artists tended to be too hard on themselves, and Candace was quite familiar with that. She'd intended to ask him for his number because she was determined to make new friends. But when she looked back up at him again after she finished zipping up her bag it was just in time to see him grow taller? Before Before he reached out grip a nearby desk and then shrunk again, "You okay there?" She'd ask concerned, her eyes trailing from his feet back up to his eyes as she tried to decide if her eyes had been playing tricks on her.
» His next words sparked more curiousity, "How long's a long time?" She'd shrug her bag onto her shoulder, nodding at the mention of his bucket list."Skating in a castle, living in a castle, it's all pretty surreal!" She gushed. "My photography is killer though, this place is so amazing. There's a lot to paint out here too." Then he'd mention her trying and well, she was definitely going to take him up on that offer before he regretted it. "Realy!? Yes!" She gave an excited bounce and had to stop herself from grabbing him and tugging him towards the door. "Where's the best place to learn? And what should I know before we begin?" She'd ask as they made their way out of the classroom and accepted the homework assignment given to her. Hopefully she wasn't annoying him with her all her questions. "We could also do the homework assignment together before the next class, if you want?"

"Yup, all fine!" Sky would say, as he would try his best to get her from ignoring the fact that she saw him levitate off the ground. "Anyway, I've had my board for a long time, really. Even before I found out about my Peculiarity." Sky would mention. He didn't want to openly tell her about him running away from his foster home, or how his father killed the people in that foster home, after finding out where Sky's whereabouts were. But after that, Candace would talk about her photography skills and how she was excited to try out skateboarding. If anything, Sky was more nervous of even being near a girl for more than a few minutes, since he wasn't very popular with girls back in his hometown. When she asked about where a good place to learn was, Sky would think about it for a good while. The only good place that Sky had thought about was the courtyard. There he could possibly use his flight ability. "How about the courtyard? It's very wide open!" Sky said, as he would take the paper with her, and would go with her to the courtyard. ((Exits to courtyard))
