The coursework ends up being either something spontaneous that you get graded for, or review work. Since you're new and all though, I doubt you need to worry about attending classes today. As for me...well. It's not exactly unusual for me to skip lectures. Valleria smiled and answered "I mostly use it as a bow, really helps me with using my semblance, and in general I just love shooting with bows, although it does indeed turn into some sort of pole arm" saying as she transforms the bow into a double edged glaive and skillfully wave it around and finishes with a combat ready pose "I usually don’t use the glaive form unless I have to get close, but even then I can still use my bow efficiently and well, it's just way more fun"she gave a small smirk as she closed the weapon and hung it on her back. After some maneuvering of the school grounds, Lieh finally found herself at the campus library. She preferred a nice, quiet space to be with herself, but it seemed most everywhere else on campus was not that way. It was nice that people found chances to talk with friends, train, and cause whatever mischief they wanted, but there was a nice little niche in the Vytal history section that was calling her today.
She felt the immediate serene atmosphere of the library surround her when she entered. She sighed in relief, this would be a good "me day". She casually waltz passed the entrance and headed straight for the section she was planning on spending who knows how much time in. Her expression did not change, the girl's teal eyes gave off no shine of emotion, but her words said otherwise, "There it is..."
She slowed her pace and almost fell into place on the built in bench. The bench was one built into the wall, blocked on each side by smaller bookcases and only enough room for one person- in other words perfect. Lieh sat her bag down next to the bench on the floor and pulled out a small book. It was lightly worn and she patted the cover,"Okay. Time to see how many chapters I can get out of you today."Her focus fell into the book immediately, if someone walked past her more than likely she wouldn't notice. It would take something bold to get her to peel her eyes from the small book's pages.
Violet was already at the library. The trip to beacon wasn't one that was too much of a crazy event. She was just chilling for the most part. The best part was the transport was only with her on it. She didn't have to be bothered with anyone else. She knew nothing about what was in store for her. She was going with the flow. Even admissions seemed a little out of sync. She didn't know why though. She knew nothing of the importanceo f the missions that was going on right now. She was just a clueless girl and that ow she was going to be.
While she was sitting at one of the tables, someone had brushed up against her causing her to feel a major shiver down her spine. A brief flashback played in her head and it caused her to jerk away but not in a way that made it obvious that she had a slight mental drama. Instead, it was all in instant time like she was just an annoyed teenager. "Watch where you going buster. Aint nothing gucci around here" she states as she brushed off her shoulder as if there was dirt on it. Going back to her book, she would have someone else brush into her. This brought more annoyance to the purple-haired maiden. This....this was going to be an issue she felt.
Getting up, she would walk around trying to find a place of solitude. A place she could go. It would take her a minute and would end up near Lieh. In fact, before she could try go down the row where she was at, she would be stopped by the person that ran into her earlier. Apparently, they didn't take kindly to her treating them like "trash" as they was saying. Violet looked at them and just gave a blank stare like she had no interest in the world. "Please...get out of my face. Don't make me start bussin' in the library on my first day here. I just trying read in peace" Peace was never an option. She realized this. Having her arm grabbed, she would immediately throw the girl into the library bench that was to the left of the row that Lieh was. A loud crash would pursue. Violet, she just looked calm and smiled. "Sorry love. Told you don't start anything. Nothing sweet out here. I am dangerous as I am beautiful"
Lieh felt herself drift into the highest level of relaxation. She snuggled up against the backing of the niche she had found for herself. If it wasn't for classes starting, she would just stay in this spot forever. For a moment she thought she had heard something bit a ways down in the library's hall, but she brushed it off, it wasn't her problem, anyone else were responsible for themselves. As she flipped a page she heard yet another noise, a female's voice, and unlike last time, it was closer. She peered over her shoulder then forward down the paths of the bookcases, but she couldn't see much of anything. She attempted to get comfortable again and continued to read,'Maybe I'm finally starting to hear voices in my head...'
CRASH
Lieh didn't react, but she knew what it was. Someone suddenly flew into the bench next to her niche. Her eyes slowly closed as she sighed, noticing that her hand had instinctively pulled and crinkled a page of the book. She closed the book with a light slam. She obviously didn't want to, but she stood from her place in the niche and inspected the now possibly unconscious girl that was on the floor. She looked from where she flew from and another girl stood, punk styled dark purple hair laid over one side and fierce eyes- she was the tosser. She approached the girl, and with her usually calm and monotonic expression, asked her,"You know this is the library right?"She held up her book,"If you want to throw people the gym might be a better place to be..."She wasn't trying to start anythign with this girl, but deep down she felt an irritation that her quiet time was disrupted. Whatever happened next...well at least she got halfway through the book.
"Tell the wanna be mean girl to not start anything and I wouldn't have to be tossing people around. I was enjoying my book" she responded with a bland tone. She didn't take offense to the words of the woman but she sure wasn't going to be sorry about the actions that had just taken place. "Now, I suggest mind your business and let them lay in pain in peace. Nothing else to see here besides some want to be bullies doing the cramp on the floor" Her vernacular and tone gave away she was a person of youth. A person who was more..modern in a way. The replacement librarian was there looking on but Violet gave her a look that showed no need worry. "Everything is gucci" She comments before starting to walk away. She would stop before looking back at the woman who confronted her. "You know. The roof is a better vibe for reading if you want to be alone. The library is an obvious choice for those who don't wanna think outside the box. Anyways, go back to your chill time"l Violet adds before going back to her table.
Sitting back down at the table, she would relax and try to unwind. She didn't think she was going to be in a fight so soon. So Early. At least, she didn't have to use her semblance in order to beat up people. In fact, she didn't even have to use it at all. It sucked relying mostly on it for combat but she was sure she wasn't the only one. Kicking her feet up to where they were placed in a relaxed state on the table, she would look up at the ceiling and close her eyes. The books weren't interesting anymore. Just being dazed in her own world was. Her scroll would go off sending her a message. She had been assigned but to who and where? Another message came after that saying to disregard it. Was? She already taken off a team that fast? News was that quick ?Quicker than two bunnies on valentines day? That was weird. "Guess...be a little bit longer on the paper work."
Valleria opened her eyes right after teleporting away from Kirien, she shot the arrow to somewhere she didn’t even know and landed very close to the library, hoping for some quiet and relaxing time she went retracted her bow and went inside. Once she got inside, she putted her headphones back on and looked around, she hasn’t had the chance to really look around the place and admire the structure of this building since she had Rena with her. The “interview” had gone…. well… honestly Blair wasn’t sure if she should classify it as positive or not. She hadn’t been arrested, that was good. She also had the job as librarian, at least for know, which was good. However, she also was going to have to prove herself, and deal with figures from her past with Beacon Faculty watching over her… which… could be bad, very bad. Shaking her head she walked across the school grounds from the Tower. There was no point freaking out about it now. She had time, time to plan, to figure out how she would proceed.
Hades is security here… perhaps he could come along as well… but hm… would that come of suspicious if I were to ask for him to come…. Autrox… is…. annoyingly perceptive. Or at least good at faking it…
Her thoughts wondered more and more as she continued her way to her new area of “work”. Despite not wanting to worry about it, she couldn’t help think on the matter as she didn’t have much else to do.
Regardless of if he does come or not… I should tell him that it will be a thing just so he doesn’t flip out on me… Despite being partners in “crime” for nearly two years, they still had quite the rocky relationship. They got upset easily over something the other did. Last thing she needed was for him to think she was ditching him to work with someone else.
He will understand… right? Honestly, she had her doubts, or was she just being an untrusting pessimist?
Sighing she stopped as she finally entered the library.
”Now what…” She mumbled out loud to herself. Sure she had applied and got the job, but what should she do first?
