Okay, I really prefer Japanese version. I usually watch it with Chinese subs and sometimes English subs. I think the Jap version is better and even though I havent seen the English version [actually, i think i have seen one ep or two] I really dont like the dubs. The story makes more sense and so does their dialogues and stuff.
I think dattebayo is better than believe it. It makes more sense when he just go like:
doushite dattebayo? [why?]
instead of something like: why... believe it! [i think thats what it prob will be like, soz if im wrong stare ]
neone agree?
neway, im so used to anime in jap version + chinky sub or english sub so i guess i'll choose it over english dub.

Hate the english version!!!! >( The voices is what pisses me off. Such horrible voices. They don't match the character's personality at all and they sound expressionless. Especially Narutos. Not only is it edited but the voices is just whats ticks me off. The japanese version is MUCH better. The voices is great and so is the dialogue and all. Still, I give my applause to Sasuke's dub voice. ONLY dub voice who did a good job. I find expression in it and it matches Sasuke's personality.

Yeah, I agree... Seriously, honky-tonky accents just don't fit with the series... Well, if you like honky-tonky accents then that's a different story... But gawd! Isn't it just so annoying?! Plus, the english version makes them sound so bloody weak and pitiful! The japanese version just sounds much more powerful.
stare
Especially Gai's voice actor? OMG Have you ever not understood what he was saying in the english version? Wow, did they just pick his voice actor up from a local bar or something? confused
I'm just afraid of what they might do to Bleach if they release that in the US. crying Unless they already have... I haven't been keeping up with animes much. xP

Well to me, i am obsessed with both. It doesnt matter which version i watch. You can get the uncut version to show more gore for the English version.

I prefer the japanese version... the english one sound so unnatural... I'm not a fan of dubbing at all. I think there's a swedish dubbed version... (I live in sweden) I have to see how that sounds... XD The swedish manga ´translated Konoha to... "Leaf-hideout" (it's weirder in swedish -.-')
