This guide gives a basic explanation of Shinobi Revolution's Tamer system. While every RPC in the guild can own a pet of some sort via the guild's inventory system, only Tamers or RPCs granted access to the Tamer system via a bloodline such as Inuzuka, may have pets trained to assist them in combat. Tamer pets may have a distinct personality and may speak in a human intelligible language, or its native animal tongue - although the Tamer will always be able to understand their pet. The strength of a pet is determined by how many Tamer Attribute Points, (TA), the pet receives. A breakdown of general guidelines and TA benefits is provided below.
General Rules
• Each pet requires at least one TA, and may have no more than twelve TA • A single pet can have at most two TA per the body rank of the tamer. • For every TA given to a pet, the pet is allotted one free custom unique to the pet. This custom may either be maruton ninjutsu, taijutsu, bukijutsu, or genjutsu based. Pet customs can only scale three ranks like puppet mechanisms. In addition, because pets are unique individuals, each pet custom must be approved on its own individual merit. • Unless stated by a class perk, PA, or cross discipline, a single pet may not mirror more than two elements.
Tamer Attribute Points:
1 TA: Pets have 1 activation. Pet techniques utilize the tamer's resource pools. 2 TA: Pets gain the ability to mirror all ninjutsu of one of the user's elements. 3 TA: Pets gain an activation for a total of 2. Pets now mirror the physical stats of their Tamer. 4 TA: Pets now have 200 Chakra and Stamina per body rank of the tamer. (Running out requires them to draw from the Tamer's pools again.) Pets now mirror a second of their Tamer's ninjutsu elements. Pets now gain a primary sense based on one of the five body senses, allowing the pet to track a target anywhere through the forum by that sense. Pets now have a genjutsu weakness to their primary sense, with genjutsu of that sense applying one rank higher, and applying one tier higher of mental stress. 6 TA: Pets gain an activation for a total of 3. Pets may now mirror any Taijutsu or Bukijutsu styles the tamer knows. Pets may now mirror one of their Tamer's genjutsu branches. Pets gain one Tamer Attribute. Tamer attributes are similar in scope and power to the innate abilities of summons, and unique to each pet. 8 TA: Pets are no longer more susceptible to genjutsu based on their primary sense. 12 TA: Pets gain a one rank higher resistance to genjutsu that utilizes their primary sense. Pets may now mirror a second of their Tamer's genjutsu branches. Pets gain a second Tamer Attribute.

Personality: Tohara is an exceptionally quiet individual. One might even say too quiet. The type of quiet that makes you wonder what someone is up to, what they do behind closed doors, etc. When he does speak it is most often filtered through the lens of Amegakure's propaganda. He is not above pandering, though he seems to possess little in the way of concrete personal beliefs or values of his own. What is capable of being coaxed out of him reveals a on fixation, and possessiveness over the status he and his family have.
Background: Tohara is what one might call assimilated into Amegakuran culture. His parents are fairly well off money managers, perfectly happy to ride on the coattails of the higher ups and siphon off some of the table scraps from time to time. Tohara picked up formal Taijutsu from a relatively young age, primarily as a way of teaching the refuse of Amegakure a lesson in discipline and dedication.
