Samoa Joe instead of going for a cover grabs Austin and picks him up to his feet. He attempts to hold Aries by his head and by his tights and send him between the ropes in the corner where his shoulder would hit the ring post.

Being brought to his feet, he would be driven into the ring post between the turnbuckle as his shoulder would collide with steel with a sickening thud and clinking sound. He would stay there.

Samoa Joe grabs Aries out of that position and slings him into the center of the ring like a rag doll.

Samoa Joe would then go for a senton onto Aries to somewhat make up for the crucial miss earlier.

Samoa Joe stays in a sitting position and leans back and goes for a cover.

The cover would be in commence and the referee would slide in to slam his hand twice on the mat, before Austin Aries would get the shoulder up to stay alive in this match..!

Samoa Joe expected a kick out, so right when Austin got out of the pin, Joe uses Austin's momentum to help roll him onto his stomach and attempts to lock in a Crossface submission!

Austin Aries would be brought into the crossface position, but within a few seconds, he would look to counter the submission into a pin position, rolling Samoa Joe's shoulders to the mat

Samoa Joe has the Crossface locked in, on of several submissions in his big arsenal. He appllies pressure on Austin in the middle of the ring!

The crossface was locked in. Austin Aries would be reaching out despite being in the middle of the ring. The referee would slide over onto one knee to ask him if he was giving up, but he refused to yield!

Aries somehow 'slips out" of the Crossface and Joe tries to grab at Aries and re apply the hold..
