xxxxxx TECHNIQUE TRAINING: B12: Galactic Interface
1. Burberry was once again left to her thoughts, which allowed her to be at her most productive. She fails to focus when in the midst of social interaction, even in the presence if people she most cares about: ie, Daiko and Gyoza. Despite her influence over the scientific community and dare she say- current political climate, Burberry had always been an introvert at heart. The young doctor had conducted her most successful and influential experiements in the midst of solitude, today would be no exception. In order to solve the puzzle that is this orange orb, Burberry would have to enlist the help of an invention not yet created. For a while, the 'B12 Intergalactic Interface' has been on the bottom of Burberry's 'to do' list; she never found a proper use for the device when she could just web-search her questions. However, this particular object was something that could not be so-easily Boogled [Like Google...]
2. Burberry would begin her work in silence, starting with her blueprint edits. It had been three years since the B12 Intergalactic Interface became a thought. Since then, Burberry had learned many things which included new and innovative methods of wiring and inputting data into their respective information systems. She no longer relied on her previously 'barbaric' modes of technological engineering, no doubt they would be susceptible to attacks from new age hackers. Burberry would have to make major edits to her blueprints before she could actually get to work on her device, hopefully it wouldn't take too long. "Alright, so where did I last leave off with the blueprints? It's been a proper three years and some months since I last looked at it..."
3. Burberry rolled out the sheet of paper on her work table. Sprawled all over the blueprint were a series of roughly-drawn sketches and illegible footnotes. For the first time in her scientific career, Burberry would throw away her own rough-drafts. "I have no clue what I was... Was I drunk? The blueprint paper vaguely smelled of chardonnay... How Mr. Gyoza can function while perpetually drunk is beyond my comprehension..." Burberry quickly pulled out another sheet of blue paper from her high shelf before scribbling down newer ideas for her galactic interface. A few trials and errors later, approximately in the span of one hour, Burberry had reached scientific enlightenment.
4. Mr. Shrubs would occasionally buzz-in to check on Burberry or bring in some snacks for the doctor while she worked. Burberry paid little mind to whoever entered her laboratory so as long as she wouldn't be distracted from her work. She continued to work pass her mental exhaustion, but the stress would all be worth it. "Finished... My first invention in a few weeks, just a few more calibrations... Voila!" The woman turned on the Interface, a dainty grin would spread on her face as it greeted her. "Now, let us see what this orb is, shall we?"

xxxxxx"Let's see what we have here," the scientist mumbled as she positioned the Interface camera in front of the orange orb. Burberry quickly took a focused picture of the orb and quickly connected the interface to her laptop via a simple USB wire. Burberry did not expect the Interface to track information on the orbs with such efficiency, it seemed that Burberry really out-did herself this time. "Namekian wish orbs: Large, crystalline spheres of varying sizes and colors that feature five-pointed stars ranging from one to seven, and also varying in sizes and colors; individually, they have no powers, but united they have the ability to call forth their associated Eternal Dragon who can grant... WISHES...?!"
After reading the description of these 'Namekian Wish Orbs,' Burberry shot up from her chair and quickly picked up the orange orb. She would press it against her chest with one hand, while the other hand snatched out the Galactic Interface from the USB cable. Before leaving for her upstairs study, Burberry would page her receptionist, "Cancel all my appointments. All of my press conferences, everything. I have much work that needs to be done today..." With that, Burberry made her way to her study where she can commence on her new project: Finding the rest of the Namekian Wish Orbs. She knew exactly where to begin too!

RonosThe sky would begin to weep as rain drizzled down and the crowd outside of the estate began to divert it's attention, seeing the multiple human like figures flying off into the sky. Some giving chase, while others simply walked off to the side. His mouth let out a sigh while the being descended from the sky into the yard infront of the gate in silence while it seemed while the people who were watching had attentions drawn another location. He'd walk forth with his eyes closed while he sensed. The lift around him was all visible. As if there were no walls. He saw an old man, with a gun. He didn't understand, though it was no problem for him. He saw women slacking in a closet with confections. He would shake off their laziness while his hands would crack and he'd sense who he wanted to see. The room was odd. He would shake his head while he took a single step while his body would burst forth. His body would burst in as the wind would push from him as the epicenter as he would appear in the midst of the study, making papers flutter and fly all around. Ronos would stand in the midst of it as he looked around with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face while looking at the decor. ". . .Odd choice in colors." He'd say while he turned his attention to her with a gentle frown and lifted two fingers in greeting. "Hello Blueberry." He'd greet casually.

xxxxxxSeat in her desk while staring at the dragon ball in an almost trance-like state, Burberry had been taken aback by Ronos' grandiloquent entrance, which had caused her to snap out of her focus. Both in awe and annoyance at Ronos' presence and the scattering papers, the blue-haired woman would simply stare in silence for a few moments before arising from her seat. Calmly, she would begin to pick up the pieces of paper that had flown in the midst of Ronos' entrance. While her outer disposition appeared calm and a touch apathetic, she was actually elated to discover that Ronos was alive. "People find comfort in familiarity," she stated while tapping the edge of a pile of papers against her desktop. "Such colors are simply familiar to me, for obvious reasons; it seems rather silly thinking about it," she admitted with a gaze soon fixed on Ronos. With a grin so dainty that only a skilled eye could perceive it, the woman would soon speak, "Enough about me, I am absolutely relieved to know that you are well, presumably." She set her papers on her desk and leaned against said desk, scanning Ronos for any injuries. "I would ask how you survived, but I am certain that is not your motive for being here. If there is any way I can pay you back for assisting me in my attempt to escape the patrol ship, do not hesitate to say so." Her grin grew a tad bit, but not by much. Safe to say, she was very happy by Ronos' presence, she was just taken aback at the fact that he was even alive to be here.

RonosRonos looked around the room once more as she began to address him. The windows were so odd. There were panels, and made of glass. Could they be broken? He wasn't use to something like that. His mind pondered a bit before looking over to her and studying her completely. His mouth would chew on his cheek while he put a hand to his pocket of his jeans. They were so weird to wear, he felt restrained, but it's better restrained than naked. He'd allow his eyes to see that she was unharmed permanently. Though after a few moments he'd nod. "I told you, I'm probably the strongest fighter in your universe. Well, second." He'd say while closing his eyes and sighing. His hand would grip tightly before turning to her and giving a smirk. "Though it's good to see my permeation was correct. I saw him. . .Pretty fancy if I do say so myself, but not anything to worry about." He'd say before turning his hand to his face as he shook the fist out and sighed.
"Actually. I do need your hand. . . Now infact." He'd say while looking over to the smaller girl while he rubbed the back of his head. "I need off this green rock. Very soon." He'd say while he looked furrowed his mouth. "There's someone who's looking for me gonna show up soon, and I don't wanna get caught up in another hair brained chase. It's how I got caught the first time." He'd say while scratching his chin. "So like. . .Now would be good."

xxxxxx"Ah, you mean Daiko," she said, her eyes lighting up for a moment. "He is a very talented fighter, I am certain he will only grow stronger by this point." She did however, take the time to play devil's advocate, "However, it's never too late for you to become stronger as well, now, about your request..." So many questions in such little time, at least Burberry will have her inquiries addressed on the trip out of here. She sighed and positioned her glasses to her face, "Assuming you wish to be as far from this place as possible, that is," she pointed out. Her free hand gestured to her window, "I am sure you saw the crowd outside, there would be no place for you to stay... At least in my mansion." She pondered over a suitable hiding place for Ronos as she began to pack away a few contents into her purse: The orange ball, her Galactic Interface and her portable tool kit. "Is there any place you had in mind?" She positioned her purse to her side. "I know you don't want to be caught up in another goose chase, but it would not be practical for you to stay here, well... There is my laboratory, but that could pose a risk as well, despite it being relatively hidden away, hmm..." She tapped her chin and looked back at Ronos, "I am content with either option, honestly. I am moreso concerned for your safety."

RonosHis body would tense up a bit as he felt a jolt upon hearing her speak of him becoming stronger. His eyes would show a bit of shock and excitement for a mere moment before his eyes mellowed out. His mouth letting out a small breath and his hand would go through his head. "I doubt the day where a boy would be a challenge for someone like me." He'd say while he rolled his shoulders, though the thought of someone being that strong made his spine tingle. His eyes would follow the room until she began to speak. From slight context clues, he would figure she was talking places around town as his head would shake. His mouth would grit a bit while he shook his head. "No, no, no." He'd say while shaking his hand to her. "I need to get out, of this system." He'd tell her while walking to the window while gripping his hand tight into a fist again. His opposite hand would grip it while he looked back to her. "Look, to be honest with you. I'm not like you, mortals." He'd say as he turned to her and frowned deeply.
"I have a responsibility that was forced on me, because I'm strong, and with that, I have to get away from any and all people who seek me. Which are mostly those damn Core people." He'd murmur as he closed his eyes and sigh. "I need to get out of this system, galaxy would be better, to a place where I can't be chased. Or atleast far enough to think about what's next for me." He'd say with a mutter while he crossed his arms. "If only I had a cube, then I can get outta here with speed." He'd tell before looking towards Bur. His arms would then rise behind his head. "I've even got a ship, just need a pilot." He'd tell her. His hand rubbing the nape of his neck while he walked around the room in a pace like motion.

xxxxxxBurberry was relieved that her question of 'how to get out of the galaxy' was answered before she could ask. She simply sighed before responding to Ronos' request "Alright, let's go." With no questions yet asked, Burberry readied herself to leave. "Lead the way to your ship, I don't have an immediate refuge in mind, but we can burn that bridge when we get there." She showed no hesitation in her mannerisms, it appeared to be she wanted to get out as well. "I do have many inquiries for you to address once we are in the safety of your ship, however." She made her way towards the backdoor of her estate, where there were one a few cameramen on standby.

RonosShaking his head, Ronos would look over to Bur as he heard she had no current questions and had planned to help him in his endevour. His mouth would form a smile as his back turned from her. His eyes closed and his mouth let out a small chuckle as he finally turned to her and put a hand around her waist. The man gripped tightly as he began to float and put a finger up. "Excuse my exit then." He'd say while the roof above them would burst as he flew upward and then outward towards familiar terrain. His flight gentle yet speedy, something that was odd, due to the way they were moving. His mind figuring that things were only getting better from here. -exit-

▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰
xxxxxxOnce again, Burberry had found herself in an intolerably-familiar role: the damsel in distress. The most damnable aspect of this situation, is that the Tuffle had left Ronos behind to possibly face his demise. The Tuffle would find a quiet spot on the vessel, and count, fingers flicking up with each integer, "One hundred and twenty one... One hundred and twenty two...... One hundred and fifty four, one hundred and fifty five, one hundred and fifty six... O-one hundred and fifty seven people." She remembered the members of the Sadal police force, and bitterly continued to count the causalities. She continued to count in silence, lamenting her ability to do anything.
By the time she had finished, and the ship had drawn closer to earth, the Tuffle had grown disturbingly silent, still. Dark circles would form around her eyes in mental exhaustion, and her lips would stiffen into an apathetic frown. She mumbled some coordinates to the mechanized officer before growing silent, this time, until the expedition had ended. She once again felt powerless, drained, humiliated. She just wanted to go to her lab and forget this day happened, to hopefully sleep this emptiness away. As the ship landed somewhere in the Tuffle's backyard, Burberry would get up from her spot, her gaze fixed towards nothing in particular, as she had lost all the life in her eyes. She walked towards the door's exit, opening the door with the push of a button.
Without turning to Riga, she would say in a completely monotonous tone, "Forget this ever happened... Your old life is irrelevant. Your title... Nothing matters in this miserable universe... Justice, love... Control..." She would step out, only to be greeted by the contrasting cheer of Mr. Shrubs. Before he could ask where Burberry had left, the scientist would quickly zoom pass him, escaping into the warm confines of her laboratory. Shrubs was left to marvel at the exterior of the ship, waving at whoever could have been operating the vessel.
-
While Shrubs made the effort to be as accommodating as possible, Burberry had locked herself in the confines of her now-disoriented laboratory. In a fit of rage, Burberry had knocked over piles of books, papers, and spare parts. Burberry had also kicked over her chair, a feat that was more difficult than anticipated. After her temper tantrum had subsided, Burberry would find a cozy pile of papers to sit on. She solemnly displayed signs of distress, even in her lonesome. Her fit was concerning, as she could not recall the last time she had felt so strongly about something. Her emotions had become so overwhelming, that all Burberry could feel was a mixture of rage and apathy: the rage was towards her own weakness, while the apathy was towards the world around her. Her distress was not necessarily caused by the deaths of countless humans and Saiyans. In fact, she was upset that she was too weak to do anything about it, not at the bloody demise that would fall upon so many people. This would be the second time that she would become an ultimately useless-yet-damning variable of a situation. Many people died because, not only was she too weak to fight, but she managed to stir-up more trouble with the only thing she was good at: being too smart for her own good.
Burberry felt like the minority in a world where physicality dictates social status. This was not always the case, however, which made her all the more confused. At one point, hulking brutes would beg for mercy under the sharp edge of her intellect- and a scalpel. While many people would characterized "The Doctor's" methods as "cruel, twisted, and sadistic," Burberry defined her particular display of intellect as "liberating, and all in the name of science." It was a time when Burberry was, dare she say, "a god." She was happier then, or so she thought. There was never a moment where Burberry questioned her functionality or her sanity, everything was as clear as the skin grafts she would slither from the quivering bodies of bound and gagged heroes. She only had to answer to one person, not an army of humans armed to the teeth with cameras and questions. More often than not, she had considered going back, but the possibility of losing the bonds she's worked so hard to maintain, is what caused great hesitation on her part... Why did she leave in the first place, when she was at her happiest, when she was at her most respected?
The sound of glass rolling on tile broke the Tuffle from her introspection, as she remembered what she was doing prior to her space expedition. She shuffled to the Namekian wish orb that had rolled underneath her desk, and plucked off any loose hairs that had stuck to the glossy ball. "How many more of you are there, exactly?" Her voice remained as somber and lifeless as before, but with a hint of curiosity strung in between her hollowed vocal cords. She rummaged through her dirtied coat to find her galactic interface, which had unsurprisingly survived today's chaos. After setting the orb on a white sheet of paper, she would take a picture of it. In a few minutes, the interface would scan the nearest mile to find items that share the estimated mass, volume, weight, height, and atomic properties of the little orb. If these orbs could truly make a wish come true... Then she may have a request in mind.

xxxxxx[BEGIN INTELLIGENCE TRAINING]
Burberry sat in silence as the Galactic Interface scanned the surrounding mile. The only sounds that echoed in the vast laboratory were the high-pitched beeps from the Interface, and the pitter-patter of tiny feet hitting against tile. Picking up on this unfamiliar sound, Burberry turned towards its source: huddled in a corner of her laboratory, was a mouse. The creature barely looked a few months old, which allowed Burberry to assume that this particular rodent was not the only one in her mansion. If anything, its mother would be nearby, as most mammals are very protective of their offspring. Could there be others, perhaps in a nest of sorts?
Burberry wouldn't put it past her. No doubt the mice originated from the destruction to Burberry's mansion in the past few days. Luckily, the Tuffle wasn't afraid of rodents or insects, as she always looked at them through a scientific lens. "A genus Mus of the muroid rodents genus, if I am not mistaken," she thought to herself, staring at the rodent as it scurried through the perimeter of the laboratory, only to get captured in one of Burberry's rodent traps: a fairly-sized cage that produced a particular radio-wave that attracted pests, specifically rodents. The small creature chirped in clear nervousness, it's tiny feet would slap against the bars of the cage as it attempted its escape. Just a minute ago, the mouse was confidently venturing the laboratory, possibly nibbling at whatever wires it could get its gnarly teeth onto. Leaving pellets for Burberry to clean up. Murmuring that petulant chirp that interrupted Burberry's one moment of peace.
Now it was helpless, and Burberry was the only one who could set it free. She feared that she was digging too deeply into the situation, but as of late, she hadn't been thinking clearly. Slowly, the Tuffle would crawl towards the cage, and pick it up with a gloved hand. The mouse rolled in the cage, and had scurried as far from Burberry as possible once it landed on stable footing. This scene seemed all too familiar. About twelve years ago, Burberry had presented the very same cage before a panel of Sadal's greatest scientists. She was the first scientist to draw the connection between the physiology of rats, and the physiology of most humanoids.
She proposed a method of mimicking humanoid subjects by experimenting on live rats. The panel was blown away by her presentation, but not in a pleasant way. "To experiment on live specimens? That's unheard of! We wouldn't even experiments on humans had they been given a choice. How could be poke and prod a thing that could not consent to such negative stimulation!" They shunned the young graduate for her support of animal cruelty, and Burberry had nearly lost her license for it had it not been for her parents' intervention. The irony of the entire situation is that, after two years, the Sadalan Scientific Board permitted the use of rat-subjects for "harmless experimentation to improve the quality of medical treatment." After the humiliation of not only being shunned by her heroes, but by having her previously-chastised idea turned against her will, Burberry vowed to never invest her time into biology again.
Of course, that all changed after she had been enlisted into her previous employer's ranks, acting as the commanding vessel's physician and bio-technician. Burberry's canvas was not limited to house rodents, but to actual people, people who, regardless of how much they begged, were victims to her curiosity. When she left, for reasons she couldn't even remember, Burberry vowed to never experiment on a live specimen, but still continued her biological research with plant specimens or corpses of tiny animals. She would go so far as to cut meat all together, and adopt a strictly vegan lifestyle. To date, she couldn't tell if her transition was made out of past-shame, or guilt. Surely it couldn't be guilt, Burberry never felt guilty about learning, let alone in the scientific field.
Breaking from thoughts, Burberry would slowly make her way to her work desk, which had previously been cleaned off rather violently. She would set the cage down, and inspect the mouse, watching it claw helplessly against its metallic prison. It eventually resorted to using its teeth to break the bars, but to no avail. The device had long-already tracked the other Namekian wish orbs, but Burberry would put that project to the side to work on something different, something nostalgic. Giving a vocal command, Burberry would trigger her computer speaker to play some background music while she worked. She preferred to drown whatever unpleasant sounds would come from her mock-procedure.
"Prepping for resurrection surgery on 'Specimen-M.'" Artfully, the Tuffle would pull her dirtied gloves from her hands, and pull her hair back into a bun. She could not remember the last time she had put her hair up, which surprised her. It was far more practical to keep hair as far away from the operating scene as possible. After washing her hands and putting on a clean apron. Next, she would gather and clean each utensil needed for this delicate procedure: a scalpel, a few syringes, a clamp, a miniature buzz-saw, and a few more tools. She plucked out a face mask from her supply cabinet, and loaded the desk with a few vials of chemicals. Last but not least, Burberry would dim the lights, aiming a single light on the cage, and snap on her pair of rubber gloves. "Commencing surgery as of [time], on [date], in the year [year]..."
Burberry would rummage through her miniature fridge for her tiny baggie of blueberries. As she returned to her work station, the doctor would inject the berry with a tranquilizing agent that would hopefully incapacitate the mouse long enough for the continuation of her surgery. She pushed the swollen piece of fruit through one of the small openings of the cage. A few minutes would pass before the mouth succumbed to the temptations of the succulent fruit, and scurry to it. In a fit of gnawing hunger, the rodent ate through half the berry before it fell to its side, limp and disoriented. "Tranquilization of Specimen-M is successful, onto the second stage," she said in a disturbingly monotonous tone.
Burberry opened the door to the cage, and extracted the mouse with surprisingly delicate hands. She watched as the mouse lazily swayed its tail, but paused, as the sedative was beginning to take full effect. "So helpless, so weak, you were only good for your wit, but not even that could spare you from my wrath... Now," in an unprecedented change of events, at least to anyone who would witness such a disturbing scene, the doctor would swiftly snap the neck of the rodent, effectively slaughtering it. She set the cage to the side, and pulled over a tiny tray fitted with a water-proof pad, for the specimen to rest on. "The second stage has been completed prior to the real operation... Witness true scientific, no, intellectual, no... Divine superiority as I... Doctor Burberry... Shall revive the dead."
Burberry would begin to slither the rodent open, and fiddle with its innards like a child poking at a piece of broccoli on their dinner plate. She replaced a few parts with whatever spare parts she could find around her laboratory. A few minutes of science would pass, which is a shorter time window than the usual surgery, which would take hours to days. However, two factors played in the doctor's favor: the mouse was awfully tiny, and Burberry was awfully intelligent. The sounds of classical music and tiny organs plopping onto "spare parts" container, would be the only things that would echo in this haunted laboratory.
"Finished..." Burberry glanced up at her clock, it had only taken her ten meager minutes to reconstruct a mouse into its ideal self. However, was it alive? Burberry would pick up the rodent and cup it in her hands. She pressed the newly-installed button on the rodent's abdomen, activating a series of electrical currents to surge through he mouse's body. A few twitches later, and the rodent was alive and active. It would peer around the laboratory with its empty, red, eyes, resting comfortably in the palm of Dr. Burberry's hand. "Welcome into this world, specimen- M..."
[INTELLIGENCE TRAINING COMPLETE: +11 INTELLIGENCE]
Burberry put the robotic rodent back in its cage, marveling at her work. While it wasn't enough to make her completely change her mindset, Burberry was definitely satisfied when her latent talent.
