▬▬~ Chi-Chi ~ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Codename: Oni Team: Omega Form: Human Location: Mansion Backyard ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Chi-Chi sat forward a little bit more as the guys from team Alpha joined her. Although she was hungry, she felt bad for putting that on the guy next to her to share his food. Especially since the boy by the pool was just joking. Maybe she could just wait until some of the others students go out to town and grab a bite with them? Her stomach growled again to remind her, and to her delight, he threw her a sandwich from his bag, which she quickly snatched from the air and unwrapped. The smell was amazing, even if it was just a simple turkey and cheese sandwich.
As she took a couple bites, they introduced themselves. Or, well, the one by the pool introduced both of them, since the other had a mouthful of sandwich. The blond man beside her was Gabe, and the man by the pool with the cast was Dimitri. Both of them seemed pretty nice so far.
After coming back to reality from her weird, paranoid feeling, Chi-Chi chuckled quietly at Gabe's comment about looking like a hog. "You haven't started snorting, so I think you're fine!" She then turned back to Dimitri, answering, "Yeah, I'm from Omega. My name's Chi-Chi... Or- uh Oni, if you prefer code names. I'm not really sure which is the best one to go by." She mumbled awkwardly.
As she took another bite, Gabe asked her about her abilities. She swallowed hard, before mumbling, "Oh, uh..." Since coming here, she felt a little better about referring to her abilities. There was a lot less awkwardness now that she was in a place where everyone had something like that. But talking about them in a normal everyday way was still strange to her. What was it they called her ability on the forms again? Should she just refer to it technically like that? Or just refer to it as it is? These guys seemed pretty chill, so it wouldn't be like they would freak out. "I guess you could say I'm like a demon. Its hard to explain, but I can do stuff like climb walls and teleport, and I have another form, but... It can be kinda scary to some people."
While yes, other normal people thought her other form was terrifying, that wasn't the whole truth. She was more scared of herself than anybody else. That's why she always hesitated to turn. That's why she panicked when she got mad at Lex for talking about being the monster like it's a good thing. No one should have to go through what she did. I should talk to him... I need a chance to explain myself to him... She had avoided Lex for long enough. Hiding away from him wasn't going to fix anything. People here knew what it was like to be shut out for being different. So maybe he might understand too.
She shook away her dark thoughts, remembering she was with other people at the moment. She put on a smile, trying to change the subject away from what she could do, focusing on them. "But anyways, what about you guys? What can you do?"
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [OOC: It's an eh post, but it's up. I might come back and make it sound nicer, but let me know if I need to make any changes!] ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Rectify Academy Infirmary Lachlan’s brows raised quizically as if he was uncertain as to whether he’d heard the would be ballerina properly. “Sorry,” he asked, genuine concern and confusion in his tone, “did you say Felix has been sweet and keeping you company?” From what he knew of the speedster, he was, well, quite simply put: a d**k. In fact, from what he heard, the guy was probably a lot more than just a d**k. And one of the things he’d just so happened to hear was that the guy was a womanizer, something Aurelie was either oblivious to or had outright ignored.
At the end of the day, however, her business was her own. He was her leader but that didn’t mean he was going to barge into her personal life on a whim, however suspicious it sounded. Roland promising to keep Felix fair in a card game definitely had the super strong mutant wondering which card game and why Roland was invested in keeping Felix fair. Not to mention keeping Felix fair sounded like a challenge in itself.
Aurelie looking to the window only confirmed his suspicion that she already knew why it was he was here. Of course, he was here to check up on her well being, he’d been here numerous times throughout the weeks but today she was awake and he had to do more than just ‘check in’. He was about to proceed with his obligations when something the blonde telekinetic said completely halted him mid-sentence. ‘Probably to find Leo, they were an item before everything happened.’
The statement caused him to fall silent and give pause for a moment as his memory immediately shot back in time to the day they’d found out Leo had left. He recalled vividly the extremely brief three worded letter that had been left on the door: no hard feelings. It immediately caused him to wonder what exactly Bella had been going through. She’d perhaps seemed slightly out of it, that she’d needed some cheering up, sure, but he had never suspected that her and Leo had been an item, he’d had no real reason to. The fact she was absent now? If what Aurelie said was true then it seemed a very possible explanation for Bella’s absence.
A part of him felt almost embarrassed, stupid even, that he’d the audacity to hatch a small crush on the songstress. Hopefully she hadn’t perceived his kind gesture in the gym as him attempting to swoop her up after she’d just been through what he could only imagine was a personal hell. Of course, he couldn’t have expected Aurelie to know the statement she’d just made was akin to having a bomb dropped in his mind.
“Oh,” he finally said as if coming out of a small daze, “I had no idea.”
The change of topic was a welcome one, although he wasn’t particularly keen on discussing his not so willing rise to leadership either, however, it was definitely better than discussing Bella’s personal life he’d foolishly thought he’d known more about. “I’m sure there could have been someone else … I mean, what about you? You’re right, you did help toss sentinels around and you helped create order as well by offering some direction as well so why didn’t they choose you? Not to mention you’re my senior.
“There could have been a better outcome than half the team winding up in the infirmary due to their injuries. I should have thought to deal with the smaller sentinels in a quicker, more efficient manner. And I understand it’s a risk that people were willing to take but the fact of the matter is that there were multiple people who came very close to the brink this last mission and had I done a better job that very well might have not been the case. I need to improve, I need to be less sloppy or it could cost someone more than an eye next time. We were lucky this time but that doesn’t mean it will happen again."
"I suppose," he responded as he stared forward blankly, evidently choosing to refrain from commenting how he felt about Bella's ability as a leader, "if the last couple missions have been any indication of things, I certainly do have my work cut out for me. I just hope I’m up to the task because right now I certainly don’t feel that I am." Naturally the confession was one he assumed would stay between himself and the telekinetic and didn’t feel it was necessary to inform her it was something he hoped she wouldn’t repeat.
“Yeah,” he agreed with a nod to Aurelie’s comment about the alpha’s, “we don’t lack the arsenal or ability, we simply lack the coordination and team cohesiveness. Hopefully the danger room sessions we’ve been having on the side for those who weren’t unable to participate will help a bit but I know it’s going to be a long road. I definitely aim to have us working just as efficiently as the omegas but things don’t always go according to plan.”
“I just hope,” Lachlan continued with a small sigh, uncertain if he was actually getting through to the telekinetic or not, “you realize I’m saying this not to beat a dead horse or be a broken record but because I am genuinely concerned. I apologize for being one of multiple people to pester you about it but as the new team lead and more importantly, as what I hope you’d be okay with me calling as a friend. With Eden, Thomas and Bella all on the down low one way or another, I really feel like I’m lacking allies in my corner at the moment.”
“My concern,” he stated a little more sternly than was normal for the generally gentle giant, “lies with your well-being, not that of the other alphas you saved down there. Had you done nothing, I’m certain Wraith would have lost more than just his eye, it likely would have been his life. Possibly Gabe as well. You did the right thing but I wholeheartedly believe that on top of working on trying to be a unit that we should also work on alternatives for you so you don’t end up in a permanent coma or worse. Having a telekinetic to rely on, I feel, encourages recklessness and I’m simply not going to tolerate that as it has been proving detrimental to your well being.”
He simply sighed and shook his head with a tiny smirk as Aurelie commented about ‘best laid plans and all’. “Aurelie, I’m trying to be taken seriously here.” While the statement was true, his smirk betrayed the fact he was not at all upset that she was leaning on humour in attempts to alleviate the tenseness the situation had the potential to have. She had a good spirit and she meant well but he wasn’t going to let her continue sacrificing her well being for the sake of others not properly caring for their own let alone their other teammate’s. It was his job as the new leader to find a solution and fast.
He contemplated going with the whole ‘beauty sleep’ comment but he felt that had too many ways to be taken wrong, whether she took it as him hitting on her or calling her ugly. “You both deserve and need that rest. You’re not going back on the field until the doctor says you’ve had enough anyway so best get comfortable, Ms. Cat Lady to Be.”
“Honestly? You can just keep doing what you have been doing, minus what I already lectured you about. It’s nice having someone on my side of the court but I feel this is definitely going to be an uphill battle considering I’ve already rubbed at least one pair of shoulders the wrong way.”

Academy Gym
“Do you think,” Farren asked Gracie with a smirk, “he’d sit there and hold still for me to actually give him one? I’m not sure he’s brave enough to stand there and just take one of my hits.”
Gracie’s next statement caused Farren to raise an eyebrow out of both perplexion and intrigue, “Is that your lame attempt to get this guy to leave you alone? Because colour me jaded but he doesn’t exactly strike me as the type to care about whether you’re fictionally married or not. Not even if you actually are either, to be honest.”
Farren feigned a disappointed pout of the lips as the speedster attempted to lay into her full force. Had she managed to hit a nerve? He sure had an awful lot to say about something he claimed not to care about. “Well that’s rather sexist, insensitive and politically incorrect of you. Who are you to tell me I’m not manly enough? I’m free to identify as whatever I choose.” The last couple sentences were uttered with a mischievous grin.
“As a matter of fact,” Farren seemed as though she were nodding in total agreement with the speedster’s comment about not being able to handle his ‘highness’, “you’re absolutely right. I don’t do princesses, way too high maintenance for my taste. Not to mention playing the damsel in distress gets old rather fast. But fear not! I’m sure there will always be desperate men out there with nothing (including dignity, sanity and self respect) to lose who will answer your calls of distress.”
“Practice,” she uttered with an innocent, shameless smile, “makes perfect. I enjoy it.”
Farren took every word of the speedster’s next long winded attempt at an insult just as easily as she could have punched the bag she stood next to completely off the wall had she put an ounce of effort in. “I dunno,” she stated with a twinkle of amusement in her eyes, “that seemed like an awfully long winded, defensive statement to this here neanderthal.”
Farren honestly could have left the statement at that but she was enjoying herself too much to dead end the ‘argument’ right then and there. She’d offer a tad more bait.
“And remember, princess,” she said with another wink, “the monarchy only oppresses the people so long as the people are willing to be. They probably built that throne for you and I’m certain they have the capabilities to dismantle it just as easily along with the rest of your lavish possessions you came by of no merit other than a self proclaimed birthright. So someday you just might find you have no other choice other than having to do it yourself.”
Farren shook her head and crossed her arms in mock disapproval at Gracie’s confession as to why she’d made out with Felix while completely ignoring the speedster immitating her glasses gesture. “Oh sweetheart, you’re going about this entirely the wrong way if the point was to make him think you weren’t interested. Now that you’ve made out with him, that’s just going to boost his little man ego and he’s going to think he can get you to do it again. Seems pretty evident by the fact he’s here pestering you now. Not to mention if he honestly thought you were a 6, I can tell you without a doubt he definitely wouldn't be here now either.”
The kinetic absorptionist chuckled as Gracie asked Felix whether he had other places to be in a clearly frustrated manner. Farren might have said she felt bad for the southern girl, but in all honesty, she had brought this on herself by going about things the way she had. It was far too late for take backsies so she’d already dug her own grave, so to speak.

Roland Anton Chevalier Location: Kitchen Thoughts: Don’t worry, he won’t get far on foot. He smirked when Aurie considered his proposed idea of letting him be the dealer for her game of poker with Felix. Roland was a number of things, one of which was the type to try and even the odds for others. Not to mention, being able to put one over on Felix would make things plain fun for him. He offered a more subdued take on what he’d actually done in his actions. Breaking ranks, even if it was for good cause, was foolish given the consequences he was experiencing now. Aurie’s words of encouragement regarding what he did, didn’t do a whole lot to assuage the feelings of failure in the state he was in now. Had he just waited, taken the time to get more support, maybe he wouldn’t be in this situation. There was a feeling of helplessness, even if he knew he was going to recover, the fact that he was stuck in this chair was detrimental to say the least. Quickly excusing himself when Lachlan arrived, figured what looked like an official visit from the interim Alpha lead was something he did not need to be a part of. He quickly rolled into the kitchen smoothly, the first time he didn’t smack his knee into the doorway. The b***h of his paralysis was that he could actually feel his legs, he just couldn’t use them. So things like stinging pain from hitting his legs across doorways and such were a bit of a nuisance. Blake offered a simple nod of hello as he went to the fridge. He offered Daylia and the others a nod as well, common courtesy and all that. They weren’t buddy buddy, but he and Daylia were still teammates. Grabbing some cold cuts and whole wheat bread, he sighed for a second as he realized he wasn’t going to be able to reach the mayo. Concentrating for a second, he let a tendril flow out of his body and gently grab the jar and bring it down. He’d been working a bit on this more fine control of his powers, to try and take it beyond just being able to make weapons and use his armor. Wheeling himself over to the counter, he put the ingredients across and started to assemble to sandwich he wanted. Blake told him that he was going to need to go over the debrief, the memory of Narcissa’s rage fueled riot act over what he did crystal clear in his mind. He’d never seen her so angry, and so worried in his life. It was… kind of terrifying to say the least. “Let me know when and where and I’ll be happy to do that.” he replied, “Mean time, anyone hungry? I got cold cuts out, figure I can whip up some sandwiches or something. It looks good to have some of this in the fridge for once.” it had been the damndest thing. For the past few weeks the fridge was often cleared of basically anything that would constitute food. It was really, really strange to say the least. Oh well, it was good to have some grub stocked at least. OOC: Post may be blah, so let me know of any problems.

Name: Dimitri Otengam. Codename: Playboy. Location: Sentinel Facility Lava Form: Off Dimitri locked in a frozen awkward expression, knowing the terrain of hunger he was stepping in before the flames died down and he split a portion of his meal to the girl. Then they realized it was just a tease before Gabe unleashed the
"Wait Is that French fries and Mozzarella? Where did you get that?" Dimitri asked, drowning out the sound of his stomach gurgling from hunger. The turkey and cheese sandwich his belly could push through but the aroma of flavor that flowed through his nose made him swallow a spit spawned from salivating.
Dimtri held up a hand guarding his chin away from the friendly fire Gabe's mouth may spat out after diving in, perplexed at Gabes reasoning. "Gabe...It's been a month. And that's why they made energy drinks." He was speaking like they were still back in the corridors of the facility! The new chick was just worried if he began to lose the English language. If that was the case Dimitri would back out of taking care of wilbur.
Her codename reminded him of a fighting game but he shot her a smile, picking between the two. "I like Chi-Chi."
"I go by the codename Playboy." Then he gave a shrug and gesture with his hands. "People around here get used to it."
Chi chi startled again, as if Gabe's question caught her off guard. It was a question mostly asked by all of the newcomers, but could understand if she was uncomfortable with answering. When she did Dimitri got the picture. He'd imagine he would get weird looks too. But he was curious listening to her described a snippet of her powers. "Teleportation..." he said with a few nods of interest, thinking of their past teleporter for a moment "That always comes in handy. But if you can teleport, then why climb walls? Or is that the 'hard to explain 'thing?"
"Gabe remember to breath okay?..."Just as they were curious, Chi Chi was as well. With Gabe being stuck between eating and breathing, Dimitri didn't want him to try and put speaking into the equation too so he spoke first. "I can generate and manipulate lava. Pretty straightforward."
To show a tiny demonstration, he rose both of his feet out from the pool and gave it a shake before putting it back into the water. Only this time he focused a tiny bit and when his piggies touched the surface of the water, bubbles and a sizzling sound came from the water. Steam suddenly began to rise above the surface. Once the steam got about 2 meters, the sizzling and bubbles slowly dissipated and the water became calm again with a slight elevated temperature. "I'm pretty handy if we're stuck on an island or if someone needs a lighter." As long as it wasn't Catalina Island where they were asking D. (if i need to edit let me know)

Tᴇᴀᴍ Aʟᴘʜᴀ :: Fᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ Pretty darn happy/Curious :: Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ Outside ::Cᴏᴍᴘᴀɴʏ Alex(Wraith) :: Wᴇᴀʀɪɴɢ This :: Iɴ Hᴇʀ Hᴇᴀᴅ PFT HAHAHAHAHA ::Still. this guy was making jokes about his predicament. It reminded her of the way her brother was when he didn’t want her worry. Maybe that was why she was beginning to feel so comfortable talking to Wraith, it felt familiar. She typed a reply, giving him a confident smile and a thumbs up to accompany it, 'XD You’ll be not pickled in no time B-)'
Just a glimpse of his powers she knew he was strong, a good fighter, and aside from what Lachlan had cornered him for, he wouldn’t be on probation for long. He was too good of an Alpha to keep benched. Her powers, on the other hand, were cartoony based her display of them. She might as well had made Spongebob or something. As she was beginning to think of a comical way to display her abilities Wraith began acting odd. He looked like a kid that just got his first piece of candy. He quickly rambled off different questions about her powers, so fast that she could barely keep up with what he was exactly saying, it started getting really incoherent towards the end then paused himself. She had leaned back away from him, this excitement of his really caught her off guard she didn’t see him doing that at all. Another surprise came when he turned as red as anyone could then pointed out his lack of cucumberness. For a few seconds she soaked all of it in, but it wasn’t long until her lips curled against her wishes and spurt. Quickly grabbing her stomach in preparation her mouth opened wide and Collin laughed silently but as hard as she could. She couldn’t contain it. The sound was a whispering wheeze, but she didn’t care, this guy was cracking her up to the point of her side starting to hurt.
It was clear he felt embarrassed by his outburst, but she had no issue. This was the first time at the school that someone took such an interest, and in a way that was so full of childlike wonder someone would think you saw Cyclops use his eyebeams for the first time. It felt really, really good to laugh out loud…for the most part. She dyed down and wiped her eyes free of stray tears, still jumpy with chuckling. She counted the questions he had asked on her hand, if she had followed it right then there was four? No maybe five? She continued to smile while contemplating answers to his questions before typing, 'BAHAHAAHA YOU’RE HILARIOUS XD YOU’RE A HUGE CUCUMBER PFFFFT ROTFL!!!!!! BUT ANY WAY Let’s see… My body reacts to sounds around me and causes the plasma to produce ^^ I don’t like to use the word oozing but (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ I don’t need a lot, but if I wanna make something big I do need a lot of plasma >.>” so it depends IT DEFINITELY FEELS DIFFERENT! Like…imagine eating rice with or without soy sauce _^u^_/? Music has that with soy sauce feeling I love it ^0^/ so I use it more!' She titled her head reading it once over then nodded before showing it to him. While he read she snuck around and typed one extra bit, ‘Thank you for asking you’re the first person to besides the teachers =w=’
Once she was done explaining he returned to his cool demeanor, still throwing out a bit of his dry humor, about learning ASL. It was reassuring he wasn’t planning to use it for devious means (though she could throw in a few of those later), his shadows had that covered, then he made an excellent point. It never occurred to Collin that it could be used on real missions, when speaking would be impossible if the situation ever arose. Could that be why the werewolf guy from the Omegas knew it? For mission purposes? ‘That….that’s a good point o-o” I’ve always just thought of it as a way for me to talk on some level…’
Wraith brought up another point about just wanting to learn it to communicate with her, explaining the unfairness of her having to listen to others and her reliance on her stupid phone. She didn’t type anything and instead held the phone with both her hands, staring at it sympathetically. For days she would wish she could talk to everyone, laugh normally, hold real conversations where it wouldn’t feel so one-sided. She wouldn’t admit it but he was right, it was lonely and unfair. Her body flinched when he called her pretty. She planted her face into her hand, too shy to show her bright red face. She typed a new message out with her free hand and swung it into view, ‘You’re just a Cucumber Casanova aren’t you >//////<’
She pursed her mouth shut afraid of smiling too much from the compliment. Looking back up she watched his focus move to the group she had asked about- finally an answer. She did recognize the two boys somewhat, since he was calling them by their codenames that helped her less with recalling much about them. She crossed her arms and tilted her head thinking about it as he continued. Her eyes widened slightly more and she stopped her thought process, ‘So he likes her…that’s it!’ she thought to herself. Finally, the dots were connecting. Usually it was hard to admit you like someone, so to come forth so quickly about it, he must’ve felt something much more than a simple like. Once he explained she noticed the change in his body language. His hands began to fidget, his eyes were having trouble keeping focus, the guy had it bad. She gave him the straightest face and typed, ’That’s real dumb Cucumber ಠ_ಠ’ then she whacked him one of the side of the head with a karate chop, it was playful however, also she didn’t know karate…She typed again, ‘You have no idea because you decided her answer already! You’ve put this whole thing on yourself and you haven’t even thought about her feelings! You say she’s avoiding you but so far, I only see you doing that! You need to put on your big boy pants and go talk to her D-: <’ She knew it sounded angry, along with a chop to the head it was even more so, but she continued, feeling a slight burn in her chest, ’Sparing feelings by not talking about them isn’t the way to go…Everyone gets hurt that way Wraith…’

XX【 】 Name: Alexander "Lex" Magnus XX【 】 Codename: Wraith XX【 】 Team Affiliation: Alpha XX【 】 Location: Mansion Backyard XX【 】 With: Amp XX【 】 Actions: Opened up to Amp Wraith could only roll his eyes at the thought of being pickled in no time. After all, it wasn’t his idea to be suspended. Truth be told, he didn’t care one way or another for Rectify- but he did want to stand up for himself. The umbralkinetic truly thought he did everything right. Why should he be punished for doing what he was told? True, he didn’t huddle and hide with the others, but he thought that they would come en masse. Instead, they hid. They spent more time covering one another than moving forward. Doing so ruined the point of a surprise pincer attack. Thus, he had no intention of doing what the would-be commander asked. Nay, demanded. Holding the team as a carrot to be striven for when only a handful treated like he was a worthy part of it at all. On the bright side, that led to a lovely conversation with a mute mutant. When he lost his ‘cool’ and gushed about her powers, he didn’t realize how he acted. He wasn’t aware he leaned in or was googly-eyed. Only when he regained his composure- if not his complexion, did he realize he was a complete goober. Thankfully, she was most gracious. Well, he thought that at first. Then she was suddenly overcome with laughter like he had not seen. It was a bit cruel, but he was suddenly very happy that she was mute. The way she was moving, her laughter would wake the dead if she had a normal voice. He watched her hunch over and laugh so hard even a mute throat managed to make a faint noise. On some level that was impressive. Of course, that made him even more acutely aware of how oddly he had acted. It was just that her power was fascinating. He really liked it, and often wished he had sonic powers. When she managed to begin typing, he saw that she had given him a new nickname. Cucumber. Well, there are worse things.
He read quickly enough to re-read them twice. It was interesting, and he still was curious if she had preferences for different types of constructs. His shadows were uniform. It didn’t matter the environment. The only difference was darker areas were more convenient. Existing shadows were easy to work with. That was something he could use to relate, though. The soy sauce analogy was actually useful. He never thought of it that way, but it worked. He could make his own shadows, but it was easier and perhaps even better to use existing shadows. That way he didn’t have to concentrate on forming the thing before molding it. She thanked him and he couldn’t help but smile softly. ”Our powers are parts of ourselves. If I am going to get to know you, why not ask about that? It is what you can do. It is part of you. My shadows are part of me, and I am proud of them- you should be of your plasma. It’s really neat.”
As the subject moved to her ability to talk and learn ASL, he was again smiling as she began to see his point. He nodded that it was a way for her to talk, but his interest was genuine. ASL was her native language, and he saw it as such. Learning her language meant to speak to her in a way she was happy with and was natural. Of course, he threw in a compliment that could be taken as a flirt, and it had an immediate effect on her. She flinched visibly, a shock to her system. Obviously, this sunny mute had not heard nearly often enough that she was cute. He didn’t ridicule her for hiding her face. If anything, it made her cuter, but he didn’t say that out loud. If a casual mention made her do this, anything more direct would likely make her run. He didn’t want her to do that. She accused him of being a ‘cucumber cassanova’ and he could only smirk. “Maybe. That sounds positively phallic, though.” It was his turn to chuckle as he turned her chide into a dirty remark. In his mind, he wanted to add how his personal ‘cucumber’ was not going to be pulled into this conversation . . . but again, felt like too much. Amp was fun, and he certainly didn’t want to scare her off. This was part of what he wanted so badly. To be a part of the team, to be recognized, and to enjoy being whom and what he was. Her plasma, his shadows, they were nothing to be afraid of or hide from. They were mutants, and here they could be proud of that.
He explained why he was reluctant to go over there and was suddenly broken out of his melancholy by her screen. In his head, he began to think of it as her ‘voice.’ She said it was dumb, and his brow furrowed. Wraith turned to look at her both confused and a little miffed. He didn’t like being called dumb. Of course, being hit upside the head didn’t help either as he went from confused to raising a single eyebrow in indignation. He read her argument in silence, letting her get her peace out. That was something else she was likely too accustomed to- speaking was faster than typing, and that meant she was cut off more often than was acceptable. His voice was a tad deeper as he spoke, the anger making him want to be a bit terser with her. It was similar to the voice he used out on the field, but he was careful to bite his wit back a bit. ”I’m sparing nothing. She has taken steps to avoid me, and I’ve done the same. Just because you’ve seen the situation for a few minutes, don’t assume I’m speaking for her.”
“It’s just . . . “ He turned away from her again to look at the trio not far away. ”She is so far outta my league. And I upset her enough to trigger a change in her she obviously didn’t want to show me. I celebrate who and what we are, but nobody should be forced. That, and she was right. I told her that I wanted to be a monster. Wanted to be something feared by our enemies and a terror to those that would do us harm. Instead, the hospitalization of a good half-dozen of us is being put on my head. My power wasn’t even close to being enough. I upset her, and then failed miserably.” He turned back to face Amp, sorrow in his eyes. He put up a good front to Rectify, and in his anger seemed powerful enough to face down his opposition, but where Oni came into the picture he seemed far less confident.
”I want to apologize to her most of all. It's just hard to think about doing that when she is in a group. But when she is alone, she avoids me. Thus the problem.” he smiled softly again, trying to gain his confidence back. He really liked her. She was on his mind a great deal, and it was not helping that he had something like survivor’s guilt. He failed in his attempt to be a monster, and she was the only one that knew his goals. She said he knew nothing of what it was like to be a monster- and she was right. She was right at least 6 times over. Once for every person he was being blamed for being seriously hurt. In his mind, he cursed at Rectify. He put this on Wraith, and the worst part was on some level, Wraith agreed with Herr Commandant.

Alice had to laugh at Aren’s willingness to admit to gluttony for something like an eating competition. “To be fair, there is a lot of training that goes into those kind of things.” She shook her head thinking about the Native proving the Brit wrong about something like that. “I don’t think you’re lazy, just innovative. Can’t give it your all if you’re tired from training sessions.” She honestly hadn’t heard much from Narcissa since the team leaders left. It kind of sent them all spinning on their asses while new leaders were put in place.
Aren’s sureness about not dying via hotdog eating contest made her laugh. She forgot how absolutely ridiculous Aren was compared to Blake. It was one of those things that made them a little similar, though she was probably one of the only ones that had seen the same kind of silliness in her best friend. He was much more serious and professional around everyone else. But Nashville brought more than just heartbreak and whining out of the Texan. He actually had fun and was able to be a bit more like himself despite the cameras that were following them around.
“I like your confidence,” she said in reply to him stating matter-of-factly that he wouldn’t need the help of his mutation to win a competition. “Maybe it’s a secondary mutation. Maybe your stomach opens up a portal to another dimension and all the food you’ve eaten over the years have wound up on Hala. Maybe you’re the secret to fast travel to another planet,” the notion itself was entirely silly and ridiculous, however; “Don’t be mad if I say I’m not willing to find out by getting swallowed whole.”
They talked about hair. It was strange how much of it explained everything about them. It represented something. A goal, or maybe just first impressions. How she styled her hair changed the way she looked completely. Adding clothing to that, she could easily look like a different person. Sure, she wasn’t cutesy or the girl-next-door, but she could easily play the part if she had to. It brought up memories that made Alice a little jealous. Aren had so much pride in his home. He had a home to go to. She didn’t. Since her grandmother died, she felt like the backs of the rest of her family had been turned on her.
“I doubt I’d be allowed to stay, but it sounds like an awesome place to call home,” her voice was almost longing. Their conversation changed to the home that they were at now. There was a sense of belonging that lied within these walls. Alice had to admit that she felt more at home in the mansion than she did at the old base. “I would not go as low as biting!” she said, making a face of shock at the absolute ridiculousness of it. She mocked the expression of a shocked well-off rich lady who had been told that she bought only processed cheese. “I’d break your ribs before I would bite.”
Alice lazed in her chair as she shrugged her shoulders. It wasn’t fair for Aren to be forced into a box like that. “Tell ya what, I’ll call you whatever you want. Aren, Peeta, Crazy Horse. But I’m never gonna stop calling Blake the Rhinestone Cowboy.” Their conversation shifted from formalities and names to training. Alice snorted, “That’s kind of genius. If I didn’t like breaking s**t so much, I probably would want to give that a try. Though we did get in a bit of trouble with the higher ups for taking down buildings that had not-real people in them.” She shrugged her shoulders, “Is it bad that I kinda don’t care?”
“Should I just make a t-shirt that says, ‘No, I’m Not Sleeping With Blake Tanner?’” She huffed a bit when he mentioned the teams being a bit uneven with genders right now. “Can’t count the gay ones. And honestly, I feel like some of the girls will end up with more than one of you guys in their beds before I even get a sideways glance.” Her face made a bit of a pout before she let the conversation shift to the bet between herself and Blake.
“Deal,” she answered Aren quickly. She’d give him a cut easily, besides, it would be more fun to have Aren involved to keep them both in check. Their conversation went to what they would do after this. After their time here. Alice mentioned becoming a full-timer, but Aren said that there was more to her than just breaking things. “Maybe you are more perceptive than people think. But I don’t see much else than demolitions. It isn’t that bad of a life, I don’t think. There will always be things to break. I don’t think we will ever have a peaceful life. Not in this lifetime anyway.”

August made a face at Marcel, “And here I thought we were bros.” He was kidding, but that kid didn’t need to know that. Besides, a little banter was good for the soul. Not as good as Vicodin, but it was better than nothing. Marcel kept on insulting the kid pretty creatively, the southerner had to appreciate that. He tried not to add an immature ‘ooooo’ at the end of Marcel’s burn to add sting to the burn. He was a grown a** man and wasn’t going to drop to the same level as the teenager.
August watched as Marcel performed just as the kid requested. He laughed softly watching the scene. He had to admit, it was fun watching Marcel move around. It was hard not to step in, but the last thing he wanted to do was to add more to the ammunition that the kid was desperately trying to pick up from his spot on the floor.
“He’s confident, gotta give him that. But he’s just as stupid as he is confident.” He watched as Marcel strolled into the storage room that the kid had come out off, returning with a bar of soap and putting it in the kid’s mouth as August continued to hold him down. “Perfect. Fittin’ punishment for a brat.” There was a moment were August wondered if he was going too far with what was happening, however, this wasn’t hazing. They weren’t doing this to torture the kid before allowing him within the ranks of a team, they were doing it because this little ******** brat targeted the wrong guy.
Cameron appeared in their little group and August gave him just a little bit of attention, wondering what he was planning on doing. Whether he was going to stop them or not. However, he didn’t. He wasn’t there to step in and stop them, so August didn’t stop holding the kid down. At least until he launched the kid up to the ceiling before literally dropping him as he walked away.
He looked to Marcel before he shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t really care where they stick him, as long as it ain’t with us. C’mon.” He waved for Marcel to follow him, once they were at the end of the hall and away from the brat, August made a sound of annoyance. “Ever tell ya that I hate kids?” Not just that kid in particular, but pretty much all of them. Sure, there was the argument that he was a kid once, but even he hated himself when he was that age.
Mostly because he grew up very gay and in the deep south.
“I was on my way to the medbay for some much needed painkillers before that kid decided to ******** with me. What were you plannin’ on doin’ today? Wanna come with an’ vouch for me to get somethin’ stronger than extra strength Tylenol?” August raised his brows at Marcel. Maybe he would be lucky and Elixir would finally be able to heal him since he wasn’t trying to keep other people from dying. He waited for Marcel to answer him before picking a direction to go.

Daylia, not being the morning person she was couldn’t help but assume the worse when Blake greeted her, mentioning that there was good news. Her immediate complaint was that she hadn’t even had any food, to which he joked. However, D took her food consumption completely seriously. "He and I already have a-" She stopped, catching herself before she royally screwed the deal Aren and her had worked out. "Understanding. Besides, how was I the last to notice this?" She demanded when he brought up Aren’s stashes of food for missions. It wasn’t until their last mission that she really found out.
She shook her head as they moved past the food situation, getting to the actual good news. Lucianna had, on a temporary basis, joined the Omegas. Daylia welcomed her but didn’t seem to fully understand the girl's hesitation.
"Honestly, who in this building doesn’t pose a threat to one another?" D asked the girl as she cocked her head to the side. "You’re talking to a guy that can walk though something and make it explode, and a girl who can literally rip someone's heart out..." She paused, her eyes going to Blake, realizing that thought process could land her into some trouble. "Uh, not uh, that I’ve really put too much thought... Into that..." She said trying to cover her own a** just in case something happened and she became the first suspect. She cleared her throat before moving on. "My point is, you’re not the only danger here."
Daylia nodded as Blake brought up the suits for their combat moments. They were really nice, it took a lot less power for her to use her gifts in them versus regular clothing. "Heh, I think it’s only you and the straight guys that would protest you appearing naked." She said grinning at her new team lead. Of course, she had never thought about him like that, but she just couldn’t help herself. Turning back to Luci, she continued to grin. "Am I wrong?" She asked innocently.
She shrugged as she moved on. "Besides, for outside of missions maybe you could get special gloves like Rogue, or someone n the labs could formulate some sort of antidote… Epipen style." She suggested. Missions aside, she really hoped the girl wouldn’t just leave the school altogether because of her powers. This was probably the best place for her if she didn’t have family that would look after her.
Blake asked after Gracie as D fished a carton of juice from the fridge. She took a drink straight from the container before answering that the Georgia peach was not with her, and in the process catching the grimace he gave her for drinking out of the carton. She gave him a droll stare as he rebutted her defense. "And what is exactly the worst thing that can happen here? Mono? We have state of the art labs, I’m sure I wouldn’t die from it. Besides, students around here swap spit all the time." Unafraid of what she could contract from drinking after someone, she raised the jug in his direction in a cheers motion before taking another drink.
Blake warned the new Omega to keep clear of the kitchen when Gracie and D were trying to cook. Daylia waved off the warning, not understanding just why other people seemed to be so scared of them trying to learn. She pointed out that everyone had accidents every once in a while. "Oh poor horse." D said as she shook her head. At least most of Gracie’s accidents revolved around inanimate objects… Like the microwave
"How many time do I have to say ’she’s learning’?" She asked, stressing the words as she defended her bestie. However as Blake brought up what she had said about the divorce, D pointed at him. "Hey, I totally agree with her on that one. So much easier." She couldn’t help but laugh as he went on, saying that he was good with fighting alongside her but not eating the food she made. "I mean, she’s made a few nonvomit inducing things." Were they good? No, but at least neither of them had gotten sick.
Lucianna interjected that the only solution would be to hire someone to cook. "Man, I miss Lynn. She cooked for Gracie and I a few times." Of course it hadn’t been for the full facility, after all D and Gracie were not that willing to share their personal chef. Building on those thoughts she looking to Blake, suggesting he cook for the two girls.
She frowned as he gave his answer. "It wouldn’t have to be the entire school… Just us." She said trying to make it sound more enticing. "Fine party pooper." She said finally accepting his answer. Oh why did Lynn have to leave?
Blake pointed out that there were cooks for the children, and that lunches were provided for the school, but that was never really enough for D."Anyone who’s been here for a few years is probably tired of the bulk food." It was probably why so many of them tried to learn how to cook. "It would probably be cheaper in the long run." She said agreeing with Luci. "But the school seems to get rebuilt every other year or so anyway, so it’s probably just a drop in the bucket for them."
"Well, guess you make two functioning adults that can cook for themselves." D said with a frown. She sighed. "Guess I’m stuck with ramen and peanut butter and jelly."
Still not completely happy with Roland and his choices on the mission, she didn’t bother to greet the man. Maybe if he hadn’t been so hard headed, he wouldn’t be rolling around in a wheelchair. Blake was really the only one to greet the man. He pointed out that he heard Roland was a good cook. Right now, D would rather choke down another one of Gracie’s concoctions. Turning away from Roland she rolled her eyes again before mouthing the word ‘pass’.
Like he needed an even bigger complex than he already apparently had from her asking him to cook. Blake moved on, mentioning that the pair needed to go over something that happened, which she could only assume boiled down to the macho man just being dumb.
Roland offered to make some sandwiches, and unfortunately, Daylia would rather starve than accept food from him right now. Even if it were something as simple as a cold cut sandwich. "No thank you." She said, keeping her tone as neutral as she could.

Gabriel Byrne Location: The Institute Gardens Thoughts: Explaining The mutant sat there beside the pool, enjoying the summer breeze, eating his sandwiches. It felt good, to say the least. He was slowly getting back to normal, he managed to only need 6 hours of sleep the other night so that was a plus. The thought of sharing food came up, and his instincts almost kicked in to protect what was his. But he stifled the savage part of himself, and offered food to the others. Social interaction is often done with food in hand, right? He quickly grabbed one of his fat sandwiches, leading to Dimitri asking where he got it. “I made it.” he answered, in between bites, “My metabolism allows me to be up for 18-20 hours a day, I do a lot of food prep in the time you’re all asleep.”He chuckled a bit as Chi-Chi joked about him not snorting yet, of course between bites. He really didn’t want to make an a** of himself, but he was so goddamn hungry that he had to continue eating. Hell he ate when he was preparing food. When Dimitri questioned the fact that he was still eating like this after a month, he chimed in “You’re correct, it has been a month. I’ve also been working off the same level of energy, for a number of years. Unfortunately, my power’s output is at the moment, wildly inefficient. So, I am trying to build myself back to normal. Hence the near constant eating.”“Also, energy drinks only do so much. A fat sandwich gives me between a ballpark of 1700 to 2100 calories per sandwich, along with plenty of carbohydrates and fats that an energy drink won’t provide. And let’s not forget protein and other sugars. Vitamins I use supplements for, but right now unless Beast comes up with superdense calorie bars for me this is what I gotta work with.” After his little spiel he finished off the sandwich, in four massive bites. He chewed and swallowed like a machine, grabbing a second sandwich after taking a moment to breathe. This time he pulled out a Fat Elvis, a delicious concoction Gyro meat, mozzarella sticks, tzatziki, fries, lettuce, tomato, and a whole bunch of other food on one massive sub. In the midst of all this, he asked the young Omega what her power was. He apparently struck a nerve, since she appeared to be uncomfortable in describing what she was capable of. Demonic transformation, and teleportation, interesting combination. “I can understand the reluctance. I’m sorry if that made you uncomfortable in asking…”“Well let’s divert this question to myself. I go by Siege when in the field. As you may have surmised, I have an extremely powerful metabolism. My body biosynthesizes slugs of tungsten carbide, and utilizing stored energy in my body I can propel them through my arms.”
“Last mission took a lot out of me, a lack of efficiency in the amount of energy I’m putting out versus what I’m taking in. Hence the bag of sandwiches. I’d show the arm shift, but I’m afraid I may go into a hypoglycemic shock from it.” That was news to him, the shifting of his arms into the cannon forms was also very taxing, he was used to it since he’d done it so often, but he needed to work on energy efficiency, plain and simple.
“Feels good to be outside. Better than the bunker.” he said finally, chowing down on his massive Fat Sandwich.

Luci’s determination to see that her requests were met was clear on her face. She kept her eyes on Blake’s, wanting to make sure that he really understood what she was saying. She was willing to leave if it meant keeping everyone else safe. “It isn’t me that you need to worry about, it’s everyone else.” She wasn’t a danger to herself. “I can’t die from my abilities, I’ve tried, trust me. It doesn’t work that way.”
The way she said it was so casual, almost too casual. But she had come to terms with her struggles. Her powers made her be hated by her own family. It left her feeling abandoned and alone. And she hated it, she hated being alone. That was way she was so guarded. If she got too comfortable and had to leave, she would be heartbroken. She didn’t want to feel something like that darkness ever again.
“As long as you think whatever they give me to wear will work. Showers before and after training might be good, too. Washing off the excess poisons on my skin may make it easier to control what I actively produce.” She shrugged her shoulders, wanting to trust his decision on what to do. But she also wanted to make sure that she was going to be safe to be around, too.
It was around this time that Daylia had joined them in the kitchen. She had taken the time to clean up her mess while Blake and Daylia spoke about some kind of arrangement involving Aren. She looked up when Daylia said that she was the last to notice the snacks that Aren had. “We found out at the same time, technically.”
She put her things away when she was finished cleaning and shook her head as the other two explained that she wasn’t the only person here that was a danger. “I’m not trying to get into a competition with either of you, or anyone you know. But I cannot control my abilities. I can’t shut them off. The most I can do is try to not kill you with whatever my body produces. But that doesn’t mean that it is a pleasant experience. It could be the worst hallucination that you can ever experience, or it can kill you, or leave you paralyzed to the point where you can barely breathe.”
She didn’t want to think about the times that she had hurt the people she had cared about. Her mother, her first kiss, younger cousin. Countless people that she loved and cared about where only ever hurt by her. She turned her attention to Blake and nodded, “I hope whoever makes these suits is a real genius, because it’s gonna take everything he’s got to make something for me that keeps all of you safe.”
She looked at Daylia when she said that it would only be Blake and the straight guys on the team that would protest against seeing Blake appear naked before she turned her attention to Luci to get her opinion. The fair skinned mutant turned pink from her cheek bones to hear ears. “I… I don’t know…” She didn’t want to think about someone who was supposed to be a leader of sorts like that. It seems disrespectful. And she didn’t know him. Even though looking in his eyes made her feel calm, and almost safe.
“An antidote would be a good idea, just in case. Maybe… Just not yet… Labs are kind of a… Not good place right now.” The pinkness remained on her face as her embarrassment went from one reason to another. Honestly, the idea of being tested on again was giving her a bit of anxiety. She could already feel her heart starting to beat faster. Her body was getting worked up. Now that the smell of cooking food was gone, there was a faint, sweet floral smell coming from her body as she tried to calm herself down.
Their conversation shifted to one about another girl who didn’t seem to have her gearings in the kitchen. She took the backseat on the conversation, not knowing this girl well enough to even try to defend her, or to take Blake’s side on the situation. She had her own input about having cooks, only to be corrected that there were lunches being served by staff to the other students, but some, like herself, were usually making things on their own. Daylia seemed to be very much against having bulk meals. Luci had dietary choices and the fact that things just were safe to be shared when it came to her.
Roland made an appearance and Blake had mentioned him being a good cook. Luci’s eyes went to the injured man. “I’m happy to see that you are okay. I heard you were hurt pretty bad. I’m sorry I didn’t visit… I don’t really know my way around this place yet…” She bowed her head, a bit embarrassed.
Daylia seemed against having anything that Roland cooked, and Luci shook her head, declining the offer as well. “I just finished eating, but thank you for the offer. Besides, I’m a vegetarian, and even I know that sandwiches without meat are just dry and sad.” She shrugged her shoulders a bit. She looked to Blake finally, “When did you want to compare our schedules? I’m eager to get to training, honestly.”

Marcel noticed August’s facial reaction and cheekily shrugged. ”I dunno. I thought I was hitting the definition of bro right in the ballpark, complete with being an annoying thorn in your side.”
Naturally, he was only reciprocating the fact that August wasn’t serious with his own intent of words, but Marcel couldn’t naturally resist throwing a few more jabs towards Aksel’s way. ”But with snot nosed brats like him, who needs little brothers?”
He would relent on the younger pint sized male before he ran out of things to say and it became a bore in the long run. Since Marcel and The soap was his final act of casually showing Aksel his place among whatever faction he was going to, but he did have to admit kneeling on rice was just as interesting, but he raised another idea as well with saying ”Oh, really now? I heard that and frozen peas were quite the effective method, but you’re right. Are we his parents or just someone out to re-educate him? I’m personally none of the above.”
And with that, Marcel waved Cameron off as the Aerokinetic left, the African-American keeping some form of thought to himself about what the former male had said among his “lies” to himself however. He was more so preoccupied with August motioning for him to come over and with no regard, Marcel casually stepped over Aksel’s back lightly enough to not cause some damage as he hopped, but still a bit painful to contend to a foot being planted on the back all the same.
”I don’t know about you,” he stated. “But I think the floor is a great team position for him.”
The mention of hating children resonated ever so well with Marcel. He hated them to a degree and probably wouldn’t have if not for one certain incident in his life.
”Aww, come on! They can’t be that bad, he chuckled. ”They cry, drool, stare at you with needy eyes for attention or in some cases, cause anti-mutant, bible gun-toting idiots to chase after you cause you’re the scary man who just so happened to turn the streets of Dallas into a water slide after backing away from their affection—gee, you’re right. I hate kids too. They’re a nuisance.”
Marcel really had nothing planned out for the day, asides from writing down everything, which he about wrapped up on before their meddlesome pest with illusionary gifts. As a result, he shrugged, beginning to walk with August wherever it was he had in mind. ”Asides from making sure our benefactors didn’t lay hidden traps on the building, nothing really though I’m never one to shy away from doing something random. I’ll tag along. Let’s just make sure whatever they give you doesn’t make you trip out cause I don’t need you running into imaginary walls again and this time not because someone actually placed one there.”

Tᴇᴀᴍ Aʟᴘʜᴀ :: Fᴇᴇʟɪɴɢ Calm/Concerned/Mad Scientist excited :: Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ Outside ::Cᴏᴍᴘᴀɴʏ Alex(Wraith)/Chi Chi and other Alpha teammates :: Wᴇᴀʀɪɴɢ This :: Iɴ Hᴇʀ Hᴇᴀᴅ A monster… ::Collin heard the change in his tone as swiftly as Wratih responded to her outburst. It was stern, less uplifted than he had sounded prior. For someone who couldn’t speak she had really put her foot in her mouth. He quickly defended his reasoning for avoiding the girl across the way and went as far as to say she didn’t know the whole story. Her body stiffened at his remark while he quickly became quiet and withdrawn, but it was clear that he was holding back, keeping himself from something much worse he could dish out. He was right though, she didn’t know his story. She’d only seen and heard from him what was going on and made her own assumptions, but her gut was telling her she wasn’t wrong, but she wasn’t right either. She held her phone up after letting out a silent sigh, giving the nerves in her body an attempt to relax, ‘Wrong choice of words…I’m sorry’
As he turned himself away from her, she noticed his expression ease into sadness, not anger, and explain more on what had happened. That was one thing she liked about Wraith as they talked, he loved who he was, and he wanted others to feel the same, be proud of their gifts, her gifts, his gifts, then it hit her when he started to talk about about leagues- then he went and called himself a monster. The realization rested on her face as he went on, then she reclaimed her composure and stared down at the screen in her hand, ‘A monster hm?’ she repeated the word to herself.
He was harder on himself than Lachlan had been, blaming himself. It was making her cringe, her fingers pressing so hard against the phone it made a small noise. As he finished she already focused on a reply, her eyes narrowed onto the screen. She found it hard to type after hearing all that, especially the part about what he wished to be. She held it up, carefully this time with both hands and wearing a calm yet sorrowful look on her face, ‘But that’s where you fail. You can’t become one because everyone already are monsters.’
The straight face she gave with this message she hoped would make clear she was completely serious with these words. She proceeded to type more, this time she moved closer so he could watch her type, ‘Mutant powers or not people are already born as monsters. My brother was a monster when he beat up a bully for picking on me. My ma was a monster when she hit my dad with a pan when he came after me. My pa-’ the rasp of a shaky breath shook itself out, all the lives of the people she changed so quickly…She bit her lip and breathed deeply through her nose repeating the memories in her head as to draw from them, ‘…and me for ruining their lives. What’s different is if we choose to be good monsters or bad ones.’ she smirked up at him, ‘You’re a good one. I’ll know that no matter what you say ^^’
She then brought her attention to the group, ‘All you did was make a mistake. Mistakes always have the chance to be fixed,’ she rested her index finger over her lip in contemplation, all the while continuing to type impressively one-handed, ‘If you decided to do what she did, how do you know it’s for the same reasons? I’m not saying I know what went on, but I know what I see, it’s all I have to understand people, and if you were really avoiding her you wouldn’t still be standing barely a yard away from her would you? What happened can’t be fixed immediately,’ she thought of something that could either work or blow up in her face, ‘But there can be a start.’
She became lasered focused on the group, tucking her phone away in her pocket and rubbing her hands together. Merely stomping her foot, a thin layer of plasma began to coat her hands, allowing her to squish it and roll it in her hands like playdoh. No longer waiting for replies from him, she smacked her hand against the center of his chest then sprinted off towards the group of folks. She would only have a little time before he got an idea of what she was doing, the plasma squished into his clothes where she had hit him. She leaned forwards stopping in her tracks, bringing up a bright, excited smile to the trio of people before her. She handled the plasma line in one hand while freeing her other to type on her phone, ‘Excuse me are you Chi Chi? I’m Collin form the Alphas! : D’ she gave a wave to her teammates Gabe and Dimitri, still twiddling with the plasma in her hands, fun first impressions! ‘I'm sorry to be so forward but I’m trying to help Wraith out so could you humor me for just a second?’ Whether her answer was yes or no, Collin gripped the plasma line in her hands and began to draw it back in, absorbing it back into her body. It felt extremely weird, like slurping a icy at high speed, and Wraith having no choice but to get pulled in towards them with the plasma line. ‘Come on over!’ She shouted in her head. Like a fish on a line, the shadow manipulator was getting rangled in. She tried this trick once with her brother and only reason it didn’t work was because the line had snapped and blew the windows out of the living room- it should be fine.
((It was suggested I push the shy boy into action...close enough))
