Gog, this was getting obnoxious. Why couldn't he just... fight? Fight like he was supposed to? This whole feeling despair thing was getting really old, really fast.

When he felt something touch his shoulder though, that was it. Mahmud's fears flew right out the window as that primal save my ******** a** instinct kicked in. Screaming, he whipped around and grabbed the offending daywalker by the face and shoved it to the ground.
s**t s**t s**t, there were so many of them! And he allowed himself to be distracted this long? Out of comfort, out of habit, he took his screwdriver hairclips and began slashing at the zombies. Some of them backed off, some of them got cut, but either way one thing was clear:
If Mahmud had his hairclips out, you don't ******** with him. Any zombies that got knocked to the ground in the wild slashing were stomped on profusely. Some even got stabbed in the face. For a pair of hairclips, it was pretty brutal.

"Itll end!" Caiden reassured the party, "Itll end, but not for a long time..." It was unclear weather he was talking about the waves of zombies, or the mental hurdles they would all have to overcome when back on the ground. Therapy was not a big thing in troll culture, or at least not the healthy kind. They would all bring something back down to the planet that could not be cured by medicine or drugs.

During his wild hacking and hair clip slashing, Mahmud had been backing up and away from the zombies he had been attracting. Soon enough he bumped into a control panel. Now, a well coordinated troll would have kept their hands in front of them. But oh no, no no no. Mahmud was not a coordinated troll tonight. Tonight he flailed and used his hands to brace himself instead, slapping a few buttons on the control panel.
Catchy, upbeat music in a dialect unfamiliar to him started blaring all throughout the room. At least... it distracted the daywalkers a little bit? <********, SORRY... SORRY..."
Suddenly a very loud, very abrupt blast of music came out of nowhere and exploded Austri's sound nodes. She hissed. "What the ********~? It's not like I'm complaining, but like~ Mahmud, was that—" There was no time for chit chat. Daywalkers were still everywhere, even with this strange yet plesant music blasting in the background. With another harsh kick, the greenblood managed to slam a few down.""

The brownblood was not exactly sure what he was yelling, but it kept him going. And anything that kept him going was something he should take advantage of.
What... what the ******** was that sound? Whirling, Deimos spotted Mahmud struggling with some kind of control panel. "Mahmud did you turn this s**t on?" He struck down two zombies headed for the brownblood, then stepped over them to go yank him away from the panel. "Cerpin's influence is rubbin' off on you." He let him go, then turned around to prepare to attack again.

More zombies, more attacks. The never ending flood of zombies, surging forward, to the killing block. Or, should they end successful, towards a meal of thinkpans, a gruesome death of being eaten alive, and the fear of death. Caiden wasn't gonna let that happen, not now, not for as long as he could. "We got this guys! Just- just keep it up a little longer!"
One left! One stupid ******** left!! Deimos kicked it over, then brought his mace down directly onto its skull. He panted, forcing himself to stand and look around at the others. The whole lot of them looked like s**t. He was getting pretty tired himself- ready to just find somewhere to lay down and try to take a nap. As if. "I wonder if there's a medical bay up here somewhere." God, they could only hope.

"Probably not..." Deimos was right in asking about the medic bay though, really. Everyone was starting to look... droopy. And not like, Fadafad or Tadalaa kind of droopy. Demoralized, was that the word? Perhaps. Tired and Demoralized. Sighing, Mahmud slowly shuffled his way down another hallway... only to find themselves faced with a door. "Welp" he said, turning to the rest of the group while trying his best to grin, "Who wants to see if this is a Medic Bay, eh? Trust me they are very pleasant. Can speak from personal experience."
