"Nice shove, Chiara." she said, peering in, "Oh... that doesn't look too bad." she said, the grotesqe, mutilated, shambling mostly-gone corpse not really phasing her at this point. It looked kind of... fragile.

"Lets get through it quickly - lets all put in our A game! Woohoo!" she let out a woop as she charged in.

She could only be professional for so long, after all. And, all right, it was fun... in a simplistic, popcorn like way.

The room beyond is filled with a laser sensitive grid, dealing 2 damage per post to all trolls who enter, until they exit the room (roll again on the first table)!

The room beyond the door seems empty from the hallway, but stepping inside you are swiftly aware that you are not alone! For lurking in the corner is a dark groaning shape. As it turns towards you, you realize you are entering strife!

2 - Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. As the screens boot up however, dozens of red warnings and errors flash across the screen. It seems like there has been critical damage to the ship in multiple places. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit.
3- The ship refuses to power on, even after you follow headquarters instructions to make sure they are plugged in, and hitting ctrl-alt-del. It looks like something core is not functioning. Your team is instructed to leave the small black boxes containing deadly explosives in key positions on your return path to the exit.
4- Powering on the ship is easy enough, with the instructions from headquarters in your ear. The screens show that the ship is functioning perfectly, and headquarters patches in the control of a remote helmsman. They wait until you have returned to your boarding pod and leave, before steering the boarding vessel away.*
If any troll in the party has helmsman authority, they can steer the ship to given coordinates, then return to the boarding vessel with the rest of the team.

Lasers, why did it have to be lasers. If she moved around enough, they only burned her skin a little, but damn did they hurt. But quickly her eyes focused on the creature before them in all its bony, jawless glory...or well, lack of. It was actually kind of pathetic, even with its mutated deformities.

It would be a mercy to put the moaning mess out of its misery. Her fist thwacked solidly against the undead trolls sternum, knocking it back, but only momentarily. Evidently without the usual amount of troll flesh on its emaciated body, it moved much quicker then she imagined. Interesting.

Hopefully this was the last one. Hopefully, probably? It better be, because although Psykgi had just said the most beautiful speech in the world, Chiara was exhausted. She tried to kick the fire back up and attack the large undead thing, but her attack was only so strong. The monster came at the tired blueblood and she immediately activated her shield bracelet.

Violent, dangerous popcorn.

But barely even at skydiving level. Even with the lasers, it was more annoying than anything. They were doing pretty well, but she could see that Chiara was flagging... or was she? It was hard to tell, honestly, aside from the exasperated curse.

Either way, the thing was shambling even more now - which was good! Psy couldn't wait to see if they could salvage this ship!

Okay, she was getting tired now. Maybe it was because she could tell Chiara was also starting to burn out. She could feel the medaid wearing off, her aches and pains coming back. Especially that rib. Zeylla pushed through though, managing another solid hit before dropping back and giving Chiara a quippy, "You're looking a little worn out Chiara, I might just win that dinner. And better yet, a good refreshing drink. Doesn't that sound nice."

Psykgi was asking for the "A" game?? Well Chiara was gonna give it! She activated one of her artifacts and made a whooping noise as she attacked the beast. Sure, it was almost dead, but getting the last hit was an accomplishment! She turned around without looking at the thing, feeling a cool guy walking away from an explosion.

"Awful fast, isn't it?" she commented, as she sought another opening for her axe. Alibii was pretty... ferocious, and that weren't bad hits at all. Not at all.

But at the same time...

"Nice!" she commented, as Chiara completely destroyed the creature.

There it was, the finishing blow. That settled it. That, and Alibii's failure at the door.

It felt a little... no, extremely odd to be judging anything like this. She did have to follow through on the whole competition thing, otherwise it lost its weight. At the same time, losses in competitions could be discouraging, even enraging. Gosh... this leadership thing was hard.

At the same time, though... she kind of wanted to see what happened if she poked the hemoanon a little. New person, new mind, new stuff to find out.

"Congratulations, Squad." she said as they entered the command room, "We got here. Lets see if we can get this thing on..."

She patched in to headquarters and started doing the computer things, occasionally throwing back some dialog to keep them strung along.

"So we're here, and that means... someone gets a dinner." she smirked as the ship began to light up - as smoothly as if it had never slumbered out here for sweeps and been infested by daywalkers. "We did a pretty good job, but gosh, I have to say..." she leaned back and stretched, "Hitting things is great, but you kind of also have to aim! And, well, the doors...." She let that hang in the air, "So I'm going to give this one to Chiara"

"I look forward to working with you again, though - it was very fun... and hey, we got this ship home, intact."

She made a fist pumping gesture, "Isn't that Fantastic?! Really good teamwork, just in general."

All right, all right, that was enough overt praise for herself.

All systems go.

"Now lets get out of here " she said. "Hot showers await."
