He was getting really, really tired of this.
Of everything, really, but mostly that stupid panther monster thing. Nash kicked out a foot, gripping the banister of the pavilion, and snapped the whip downward as hard as he could, hearing the hiss of displaced wind, the clatter of Acheri's many legs together.
And down it ********> Nash yelled and then slumped to the floor, breathing heavily.

As the creature vanished, Lawrence fell to the floor with a thud, letting out a resigned sort of groan before picking himself up and dusting himself off.
He was having a truly miserable day.
"Well." he said. "It's dead."

Melvin was panting as he pushed on the rod and made the blade slid back into the handle.
"Yeah.....hopefully for good." Or at least banished to Halloween where it belonged.
He looked about. "You guys okay? Lawr? Nash?"

He was disappointed to still hear Lawrence ******** dandy," Nash muttered as he desummoned Acheri in a gust of pale green light. He felt bruised and aggravated and on edge, the twin reprimands from earlier still smarting; and combined with his utter lack of ability and his much lower status in ranking, overall, it was not a good feeling.
He seriously just wanted to get out of this damned place. Nash brushed a few splinters of wood from the leg of his pants, slumped down with his legs dangling over the side.
"I guess that's the thing that's been causing s**t here."

"No." Lawrence said irritably. "I feel awful, but I'm alive if that's what you mean, and mostly intact." Except from the usual missing extremities. He rearranged his clothing, frowning down at himself irritably.
"It came from somewhere." he said, hugging himself again as the glow of excercise faded from him. "More like a symptom than the disease."
