Emalthya Cheshire Kattz I wasn't clear, sorry. I meant giving out candy or tot at homes. People go out to celebrate instead. Same with kids. At least here in US AZ state. I dont know about other states. I think crime is more dangerous because of the type of weapons we use for one, and depends where you live as far as crime is concerned. For example, a child gets killed with a knife one dies... With bombing or shootings several die. I'm sure it's a matter of perspective. You're right it is about perspective- we don't have bombings or shootings here, so I was thinking more of abduction or assault, because of my perspective. We don't have a lot of knife violence, either, mostly I think we have beatings and one punch kills. Ah well at least they're having fun, whatever they do! Right and its safer that way, going out i mean. Wow, sounds fairly safe where you are compared to a few cities around the US. We even get shootings here but not often. Unless you are close to the mexican border.

Well, actually, we do have guns, but we don't use them. But if there is a shooting, even a non lethal one, even one where nobody even got hurt, it makes national news. Yeah I was just reading about the attack in NY. So sad. What a pointless waste. But yeah it's probably better to have a fun party at a party venue than have one at home- no cleanup for you!
