Things were looking good with the set of arrows she received... they had all their feathers and everything! Letting the first one fly, her confidence was spurred on by the middle ring shot.

As the blue light flashed on the floor, Kari glared at the birds. They glared back. Kari knew she wouldn't hit any, and they knew it too. She decided she would simply bide her time...

As the light changed to red, she let loose a torrent of flames... that ended up rebounding off the floor and harmlessly into the air.

"One more shot...", she murmured, summoning her flames once more. Instead of a straight shot, she tried winding it around the floor. Maybe adding a little fluidity would aid in confusing the birds.

It actually worked quite well, as the bird couldn't follow the flames movements and raced off when the fire began to lick at their feathers.

"Are you sure it's still in here...?", The ghoul yelled as she popped out of the straw. The withering look she received from Sludge prompted her to search some more, but to no avail. It seemed like there was simply nothing to be found.

Now that the game was taking things at a more moderate speed, Kari was able to land almost every hit. Hopefully her luck would continue like this.

The reaper certainly had a penchant for hitting the middle ring of the target lately... not that she was complaining.

Trying her method of weaving her flames once again, it seemed like the birds hadn't caught on to any patterns yet and were once again forced to flee the fire.

Result: 25-50: You find some sort of blade that looks like a key. This just angers the first gnome even more. Best leave it there.

So... Kari finally managed to find something. Unfortunately, it wasn't what she wanted to find. It was something, at least?

Hammer in hand once more, Kari set to whacking the zombies. She managed to land a hit on half of the bunch, winning her the statue. One of these days, she would get a perfect score...

The reaper was fairly surprised when she not only got a good set of arrows, but she was able to land a bulls eye on her first shot! Maybe Kari was finally getting better?

Taking advantage of the orange light on the floor, Kari swept her fire around to catch the birds by surprise. This way, she was able to chase off the birds and secure a win.

Result: 75-100: You found the ring! "The one ring to rule them-" "I SWEAR TO JACK" They start to argue. Sludge gives you a golden dragon coin in exchange for the ring.

Kari began to wonder why Sludge kept coming back to this pile of hay. They kept losing their ring here, after all. Wouldn't it just be better to avoid it altogether?

In any case, the baffled reaper once more dove into the pile in search for the lost item. Luckily, it didn't take long to find what they were looking for.
