As Kazuma attempted walking toward Dysia, he found that he grew no closer, no matter the angle. He finally broke into a head long sprint, rapidly closing the distance along one axis while getting further away from another. His crater was enormous, but she remained immobile, a fixed point at its exact center, with countless meters between her and the ground below.

Kazuma had rendered a ground based melee fight impossible. That placed him in a precarious position, as Dysia had already demonstrated a limited ability to hijack the distortion fields in the space he used to fly, especially those in close proximity. If Kazuma made contact with her again, there would be no guarantee his field projection wouldnt be weaponized against him.

Only a little while longer. Her tactic was working perfectly. The disturbance was apparent, cosmically aware beings lightyears away stopped, alerted, and turned briefly, as if to observe, others shivered in horror, in dread of what was to come.

Kazuma simply ran down in-to the crater. Once be-low Dysia, he merely gazed up at her. Bending down, he did a high jump, attempting to reach the woman and grab her by the feet.

As Kazuma approached Dysia's stiletto heels, she pondered erecting a slipstream shift approximating a neutron star warp field along a linear shaft down toward the center of the planet, first drawing him upward toward her at 100 G's up, then, if his body passed the threshold of her spiked heels, likely impaling him on the orbital crystal, she reversed the field direction downward, 100 G's in the opposite direction at 1/10th of 1 second. The stress on an object exposed to this kind of gravitational anomaly and the sudden shift would be akin to being body slammed at 20,000 miles per hour.

Dysia had yet to apply scalars or energon shifts to the conflict, but didn't do that either. Instead, she appeared to remain stationary as Kazuma approached to make contact, appearing unphased, as if she were a statue.

A shadow briefly cut over the entire area, traveling so quickly it was like the sun had flickered, and then it seemed gone. Kazuma would probably not notice, but anyone who could stare into the sun could see the tiny black mote approaching. It was almost time.

Kazuma reached Dysia. Pulling his right arm back, he chambered his fist for a punch. His right gauntlet took the shape of a dragon's maw, super-charged with energy. "Fist of Pride!" Kazuma threw his ultimate punch, firing its effect as a beam of energy escaping in-to outer space to-ward the approaching mote occluding the sun, leaving a crater hundreds of meters wide on the ground.

Kazuma's bestial maw fist rose up toward Dysia's boot heels, firing its effect as a blasting beam of energy. The crater he had created earlier, grew wider, killing all the spectators. The depth of the crater she remained center fixed to, grew, so that if Kazuma fell, it would be hundreds of meters to the bottom.
As the wind pressures changed, Dysia's cape ruffled in the wind, then quieted down and returned back to a dull fluttering. Her body looked unscathed. A thin expanding ring blasted like a halo toward the atmosphere, dissipating as the vast bulk of his energy projection was consumed effortlessly by the black blade, the remainder as harmless light dissipated into the stratosphere. It was as if Kazuma was blowing smoke rings.

Then she said something. "You're too late." She wondered if Kazuma had dependents. Friends, Family, Loved ones. Cousins, uncles, nephews, brothers. A dog named spot? A favorite park with pigeons to feed? Perhaps Kazuma was soulless, dead inside, and worthless, with no one and nothing of value in his existence but his shiny toy glove and his superpowers.

It would take over eight minutes for the last light to travel from the sun to the earth. eight minutes before it became obvious something was terribly wrong. A counter appeared in her HUD visor, bright, visible, counting down from 500. Was Kazuma God? Soon the Imperial Tyrant would learn the limits of the young man's pride.

Kazuma fell nearly nine hundred feet to the bottom of the crater. His body-suit absorbed what would other-wise have been a bone-shattering impact. He used his hands and feet to catch his fall, then stood up, facing Dysia. "Too late for what?" he asked. Kazuma started gathering traces of Alter energy latent in the crater in-to his right fist.

Dysia continued to remain motionless, her cape the only thing fluttering in the wind. Kazuma clearly lacked any kind of sixth sense, either that, or his arrogance blinded him...

"Your star has been destroyed. It will take another seven minutes for the wave to reach this world. At that time, all life on this world will end. If you were to some how deflect the wave, with a sun, your plants will no longer be able to photosynthesize. Your oceans will turn to ice, and all life as you know it will slowly freeze to death in the cold darkness of space.

You have doomed this world."
The intergalactic empress refrained from calling it his world. She would now test his sense of morality, or lack thereof.

"Giant Explosion Fist!" Kazuma blitzed several hundred kilometers in-to the air, passing by Dysia in the way. Turning one hundred and eighty degrees in his ascent, he aimed his right gauntlet at her rump, attempting to punch her in the tail-bone on his way in-to outer space.

Kazuma blasted through the air in his futile attempt to do whatever it is that he deemed was necessary to secure victory in his own mind. While passing by, he attempted to sexually molest her, however, the cape became rigid and frictionless as he ascending fist skated upward.

She didn't perceive his passing a** slap attempt as a threat, rather a violation of etiquette she would neither brook nor sanction. She hoped he would go ahead and get to his highest level of charge, but it looked as if he was giving up and leaving the match.

She didn't really know what the rules were, nor cared, but she would be sure to inform everyone of Kazuma's forfeit if he didn't return in a timely fashion. She considered. Kazuma could barely approach light speeds, even that feat a product of his brother's genetic disposition and not his own worth. That meant about 3 minutes out, Kazuma would crash into the front shock wave of the exploding star.

Dysia knew she could restore the sun, even before the blast reached this world, but Kazuma seemed indifferent to the plight of the billions of people, the trillions of lifeforms that were about to meet a slow, icy death in the Darkness.

Kazuma's pride was like the sun...

but would it be enough to replace it?

She laughed maniacally... Hahahahaha..AHhahahahaa!..

"Dimensional Buffer!" Using his Proud Fist, Kazuma tore open a rift to the Alter dimension several kilometers in width, sufficient enough to suck in Dysia's self-created shock-wave like a black hole eating the sun and store it there indefinitely.

Clash Fah
"Dimensional Buffer!" Using his Proud Fist, Kazuma tore open a rift to the Alter dimension several kilometers in width, sufficient enough to suck in Dysia's self-created shock-wave like a black hole eating the sun and store it there indefinitely.

<
1. Kazuma doesn't have a dimensional buffer. It's called Dimensional BFR.
2. The definition of Dimensional BFR is as follows:
Dimensional BFR: With his humungous boost in raw power, "Proud Fist" Kazuma can distort the fabric of space with his punches and voluntarily tear open a rift to the "Alter" dimension parallel to the real world. From there, he can throw opponents inside to trap them within permamently, and only fellow "Alter" users that attain a similar "evolution" to Kazuma or Ryuhou are capable of escaping from the parallel realm (the mutated Kyoji Mujo). The tear can extend for up to several kilometers in horizontal length (left to right, vice versa).
3. The diameter of the shockwave you are attempting to absorb through your several kilometer wide rift is approximately 10,7640,000 kilometers, which is to say, more than 1.4 million times wider than your rift. Meaning you can't so much as put a dent in it, as it would take a kilometer long monitor to illustrate your rift as 1 pixel on that screen. You aren't even the pale blue dot in space. You practically don't exist, and the Area effect of your power is like a newspaper in a hurricane.
4. Your power effects space. It does not effect time. It does not send you back in time. You have no power whatsoever to absorb "the sun" or the "blackhole" that is not there. The star has been destroyed.

When was it destroyed?

--->A shadow briefly cut over the entire area, traveling so quickly it was like the sun had flickered, and then it seemed gone. Kazuma would probably not notice, but anyone who could stare into the sun could see the tiny black mote approaching. It was almost time.

To which you replied
--->Kazuma simply ran down in-to the crater.

So Boom.

Now, moving on.
5. light takes approximately 500 seconds to travel from the sun to earth. As Kazuma begins flying toward the shockwave front, the sun is already destroyed and the explosion has already traveled, and the force that destroyed is likewise, no where to be seen. The thing is, Kazuma without paranormal powers would not be able to see the sun had exploded, because the explosion is traveling at the speed of light, so the visuals of the explosion haven't arrived yet. In order to intercept the explosion before it hits earth, he would have to travel extraordinary fast.

And he does.

6. How fast is Kazuma?
Kazuma has the power to absorb other Alter powers. Dysia is not an Alter, so absorbing her powers this way is impossible, as she draws power from dimensions other than the Alter dimension. But that's irrelevant. Kazuma used his power to copy his brother's power:
Straight Cougar is the fastest alter user on the planet and isn't afraid to show it. Using the alter 'Radical Good Speed' allows him to transform anything into a fast moving object, to reach the speed of light

The speed of light is the fastest alter user. The fastest Alter user copied by Kazuma is therefore able to reach the speed of light. The speed of light is also the speed of the shockwave of the exploding star.

However, at the speed of light, it will take you 8 minutes to get to where the sun should be. By the time you get there, it will have been gone for 8 minutes. If you left immediately after it was destroyed, it would take you about 4 minutes to meet up with the shockwave, at the halfway point.

Again, your Alter Energy powers are insignificant in comparison to the explosion. You are like a tiny insect trying to turn back a tornado by flapping your wings.

Now, the most important thing to realize, is your star is already destroyed. It happened. In the past. You can race out and try to stop some of the explosion from hitting earth. But your current "hole" you created is only going to stop the surface area of your BFR times four. That sounds like a lot, but it only amounts to a city, when you really need to save a whole solar system, including an entire planet.

Favorite line from that link:
Quote:
"It’s going to shoot out some really gnarly, very powerful stuff. All that energy — about as much as you would observe if you blew up a few octillion nuclear warheads — will almost instantly kill all life on Earth."

Who doesn't need a few octillion nukes to brighten up their day and feel warm and cozy inside?

You haven't asked yet it if can be stopped. You merely assumed you were omnipotent, and therefore could do it. But you have failed. The power required is astronomical, and you are not an astronomical being. You are a powerful being. But powerful is not the same as astronomical.>>

She grins, watching his gravitational distortion signature on her sensors as he tries in futility to stop the end of his star system.

"If he can swallow his pride, perhaps I will save his dying world?" she ponders aloud. Then shakes her head. "No. I don't think anything is more valuable to him than his ego."

And she waits, the countdown on her visor already dropping below 300.

Kazuma turned a-round and zipped to-ward Dysia like a missile using Cougar's Speed. With-out regard for the saber in Dysia's hand, Kazuma aimed a Super-man punch at her head using his right fist.

Dysia remains still for the vast majority of Kazuma's incoming assault, her sensors tuned to his gravitometric displacement in the spacetime continuum. As Kazuma came in at blinding speeds, the shockfront of the dead star in rapid pursuit, Dysia pulled the blade up at the last moment, intercepting Kazuma's fist.

The faster he was going, the higher his kinetic energy would be. The higher his kinetic energy, the more the blade would vibrate. The more the blade vibrated, the more heat would be produced - the blade would transform his impact into entropy. But unlike other objects, the black blade was exotic matter. It fed on entropy, especially the entropy it created, and converted it into electricity, but like the core of a star, it had its own internal chain reaction. The blade would then consume the electricity and convert it into gluon analogs of strong nuclear force, reinforcing it's exotic crystalline matrix.

The blade had been doing this to tiny air molecules making contact with it for too long, at first stripping their electron fields, converting them into cations, then eventually plasma, then consuming their tiny nuclear cores. Sometimes alpha and beta particles, in addition to ions would have just enough momentum and angle to escape the event horizon of the blade, and impact objects or living tissue, like radiation, or impact and bond with other molecules in the air creating acidic mist and rain.

There were several good reasons to not use the sword, but entities like Kazuma were among the rare excuses to use it.

She was learning that he really had no concern for life, and contemplated moving the planet out of this solar system until the battle had concluded. She made her decision as Kazuma reached orbit. At 186,000 miles per second, it would be cutting it close, forcing her to shunt herself almost completely out of the time stream with a tiny tether of 1:1 billion, and transmitted the instructions.
in 2 of 1 billion, Kazuma had traveled 2 feet (C = 983,571,056.43 feet per second / 1000,000,000 seconds = 0.983 feet per unit), the signal had been received across her temporal entanglement band. In 3 of 1 billion, the Altair formulated the gate while the living collective intelligence parallel processed its journey, it had arrived, observing Kazuma's transition to the edge of the atmosphere. He was now almost a full meter in. In 4 of 1 billion, the Altair created a 4th dimensional sphere gate around the planet and atmosphere. In 5 of 1 billion, the sphere gate opened in the orbit of Alpha Centauri, 1.34 parsecs away. In 5 of 1 billion, a sphere gate surrounded Dysia. in 6 of 1 billion, Kazuma now almost 2 meters in travel, Dysia's sphere gate collapsed leaving her in the original position where Kazuma was charging, and she braced for impact,

with no planet beneath her...

it would take the light from the vanished earth almost a millisecond (about 1/930 seconds) to reach Kazuma as he got about 50 miles from the "surface" of the earth, except the earth was gone.

Dysia had, in this conflict, destroyed a star and stolen his world. Was he just getting warmed up? Hard to say, but it was about to get very cold and lonely in space.

Kazuma hovered fifty miles above the missing planet. Where the armor in his final form did not quite cover his jaw, mouth and eyes, a face-plate closed over it, and he continued to breathe in-side his now space-flight capable body-suit. The dragon's maw which had replaced Kazuma's right hand opened then closed. "Put a-way the sword and fight," said Kazuma. The closed dragon's maw frothed with fresh energy from the Alter dimension.

Floating in the vacuum of space, the energy of the Nova washed over her, absorbed for several meters around her by the black blade, leaving a black mote in the wave of energy. In the distance, she saw Kazuma's lips move beneath a glass face plate. She wasn't an expert on lip reading, but in the vacuum of space, no one can hear you scream, and it didn't look like screaming. It was utterly silent, but looked like he said "But away da soda ant vike"; she arched an eye brow and ran it through a facial recognition program with better lip reading abilities. "Ah" she mouthed, then sent a signal along radio and UHF frequencies traditional to 1950s and 2050s level civilizations. If he couldn't receive the signal, he would have to guess what she mouthed."I'll put the sword away when you remember this is supposed to be a hand to hand fight and stop popping off your ray beams you reckless git"
