Kenny Omega would look to pick up the win with the first pin of the match, Roode would kick out after the referee managed to slap the mat once.

Omega quickly would lift up Roode in a sitting position, as Omega would attempt to go for a chop to the back of Roode as hard as he could.

Kenny Omega was showing no signs of letting up as he would aggressively connect with another chop, this time to Roode's back. Bobby Roode would roll over in dramatic fashion to the closet ropes. Using them for support.

Omega would attempt to assist Roode back up to his feet, as Kenny would go for a knife edge chop to the chest of Roode.

Bobby Roode would be assisted up to his feet and Omega would continue his relentless barrage of chops, this time though he would respond with one of his own.

Omega would be hit with the chop, as Kenny would back up to the center of the ring holding his chest.

Roode had bought some time, he would try make use of the space attempting a clothesline from hell. Putting Omega in a spin cycle, before he would crash to the mat.

Omega would be turned inside-out in mid-air as Omega would go down from the huge clothesline!

Fans would let out cheers, finally seeing Roode making some ground in this match. Roode would lean on the ropes, holding on to his chest. The damage caused from Omega hadn't gone unnoticed.

Omega would slowly be crawling towards the ropes/the corner in order to try to recover from the huge clothesline from Roode.

Roode would notice Omega making strides to the ropes, he would follow after him pulling him to the center of the ring again and attempting to put him in a crossface.

Omega would be put in the crossface, but quickly tried to turn his legs towards the ropes, but was struggling a bit.

Roode would apply more pressure, ultimately trying to weaken him as he would struggle to get his foot on the ropes.

Omega was struggling to get to the ropes, Omega attempted to turn his legs to the bottom rope to force a rope break.

The referee would spot Omega's leg under the rope, and issue a rope break. Bobby Roode would toss his hands in the air in protest.
