『"I don't care what they say! I'll prove them wrong, every one of 'em!"』
The Majin would have to be discreet about this, lest she tip off the Earthling to her plan. The Majin would leave bits of herself around the islands, wherever she went. All of them would act like a landmine. The second Seri was close enough, they would go off and engulf the Human. A sinister grin spread across the Majin’s visage. There was some distance between the two of them, and the Majin would start where she stood, leaving a bit of herself to burrow under the ground, just beneath the surface.
Seri wouldn’t give her enough time for more than one, however, as the Human rushed forward and delivered a powerful right hook, sending the Majin flying once more. The young fighter gave chase and continued to deliver powerful strikes to keep the Majin moving around the islands, each hit sending a shockwave around the area, causing them to begin breaking apart. Seri either didn’t notice, or didn’t care, as her gaze never left her target. She’d make sure the Majin would die today, and stay dead. There’d be no revival in 1000 years.
While rushing down the Majin, Seri could feel her power waver, but this time it was more harsh and instant than it was before. This caused her to crash into the ground in pain. Her body couldn’t handle this much longer. It wasn’t used to this power. The pain faded, but slower than she would’ve liked. The Majin was already on her way for a counter attack, and Seri had barely any time to get her arms up for a block.
Sending the Earthling girl flying backwards, it was now her turn to get in some punishment. Gone were the snide remarks and teasing. The hunger and feal nature were now taking root. She needed Seri more than anything, and the more tenderized the prey, the better they were. The shockwaves from the strikes continued to break apart the tropics as they fought. If they didn’t end this quickly, the area would be destroyed by their bout.
Rushing in, the Majin grabbed Seri’s face and slammed her head into one of the islands. She then wrapped her tail around the young fighter’s torso and used it as an elastic tether as she continued to strike Seri away, before she was pulled back in to receive another strike. Her minefield had been set, but it may have been a waste. Seri was currently powerless to stop her, and as soon as that power came back, the Majin would have her meal.
The pink assailant would toss her quarry up into the air and catch her once more with her tail, but this time around the throat. She would draw Seri in close so that she could caress the Earthling’s face one last time. “I told you, Seri-chan. We’d be together forever~” A bit of the Majin crept across Seri’s body, slowly covering the girl in preparation for absorption, but as it spread, it became more difficult for it to creep upward. This caused the Majin to look Seri in the eyes.
Those eyes weren’t full of malice, hatred, pain, or any other negative emotion like she was expecting. No, they were full of determination, and for some reason, an assurance that the Earthling wouldn’t lose. This angered the Majin to no end. “Say something, damn you!” However, no words would come from Seri as she just stared the Majin down, which caused the tail to tighten around her throat. At least, she could have sworn it tightened down.
What was going on? She felt herself getting weaker. It was becoming harder to stay standing, and Seri just continued to stay there, breathing. But no matter how hard she tried to squeeze down, the girl just continued to breathe evenly and calmly. That power hadn’t even come back to her yet, the Majin could still feel the young fighter’s Ki. How was she doing this? What was going on? Struggling to keep herself on her feet, the tail loosened and Seri landed on the ground, standing up without much effort.

“Tell me…” Seri’s voice was calm and collected, yet had an incredible weight to it. “how does it feel to be literally crushed under the gravity of your situation?” Seri’s Ki flared up its green hue, causing the gravity to increase even more. This in turn forced the Majin down to her hands and knees, straining against the force of her opponent. “How…how are you doing this?!” She was openly scared now. This was new. This wasn’t something she had seen Seri do before. And the incredible force of it was something not to be taken lightly. It literally couldn’t be taken lightly.
She couldn’t let this Earthling get the better of her. No, she refused! Recalling all of her traps, the Majin would surround Seri and create a bubble around them with no way out! She would trap the Human into two choices. She could either be absorbed willingly, or forcibly taken! The pink goo erupted from the ground of the cracked and broken islands, rushing in from all sides towards the Earthling girl. It was only a matter of time until the two of them were one.
But as the pink amorphous goo neared, it too would be slammed into the ground and be stopped completely as it entered the area of Seri’s Gravity Surge. This left the Majin speechless as she strained to look towards the young fighter for an answer. The Human wouldn’t speak, however. She would just stare down at the Majin with contempt. This made the Majin’s blood boil. How dare she look down upon her? This lower lifeform. She had eaten entire populations!
This anger would be the push that the Majin needed to finally be able to fight back. Seri was weakened. The Human wouldn’t hold her here. No, she would leave this place the victor! She wouldn’t lose here! With a strained roar, the Majin unleashed all of the power she could to destroy the island the two of them were standing on. This in turn successfully destabilized Seri’s footing, making her dissipate the increased gravity that had held the Majin down.
Without wasting any time, the Majin rocketed off of the ground, the rest of her amorphous goo reforming with her. She didn’t want to trap Seri any longer. She needed to see the futility up close and personal. It seemed the girl’s power was gone, and it was too dangerous to allow it to return. No, she’d have to absorb her as she was now. While this wasn’t optimal, the girl obviously had enough tricks up her sleeve to get the better of a Majin, even if temporarily. What else did she have? That wasn’t a risk the pink fighter was willing to take any longer.
Enraged, the Majin unleashed an assault of ki towards her prey, not caring about the area around them, causing even more damage to the tropics. The islands couldn’t take much more punishment from the two fighting, but it didn’t seem as if their battle wouldn’t take even more as destructive casualty. Before their fight would finish, this area would be naught but debris. The two of them were fully intent on destroying the other, even if that meant taking out whatever was around them as well.
The Majin would continue to fire off torrent after torrent of ki blasts and beams towards the ever increasing smoke cloud in front of her. She could still feel Seri within it, but her energy was weakening. Good, that meant she’d be able to finally absorb the petulant obstacle. If only she had accepted her offer, none of this would have had to happen. They’d be together, forever, happy. They’d never have to worry about being apart or alone again. Even if the Majin were to somehow get trapped for 1000 years again, she’d still have Seri.
But no, she had to go and refuse her offer of everlasting happiness. And for what, a few measly mortals? Because it was the right thing to do? Was their relationship not important enough? No, it wasn’t that. It was that God of Destructon! Of course! Before Seri met her, they were happy! It was all the short one’s fault! After she absorbed Seri, Maedas would be put on the menu! That hunt would be dangerous, but the most satisfying kills are the most dangerous game!
The Majin had almost gotten away from herself. She let up on the ki barrage and gave time for the smoke to clear. Seri’s energy signature was weak now. Weak enough to encounter no resistance. This was it, the moment she had been waiting for. Finally, her quarry was hers for the taking. No more waiting, no more playing games. No more trying to be friendly with people that she felt were nothing more than pawns to keep her entertained. Now she would be able to kill and eat them, once she had Seri’s power.
She couldn’t wait any longer! The Majin formed a ball of herself in her hand and tossed the amorphous goo towards the smoke that was still clearing. She would absorb Seri and become even more powerful than anyone else on this planet! Then she’d absorb them too and amass enough power to kill Maedas. Kill the very being that took her happiness from her! It was all coming together at last. She would finally be one with her obsession!

She pulled the goo back once she grabbed onto Seri and recalled it into herself, laughing maniacally as she did so. The blob reformed itself back into the Majin and her ki exploded. She was ready to test out this new power, and Seri’s friends would be the perfect target. The tall Frost Demon would make an excellent first test of the Majin’s newfound powers. He would be a delicious addition to her repertoire of powers and abilities. She was giddy just thinking about it! In fact, she was too giddy…
Too giddy to even realize that the only thing she was doing was roaring her own ki around her. Too giddy to notice that her power hadn’t increased. All she was doing was burning ki. She couldn’t feel Seri anymore, so the Majin had assumed that she was successful. But as the smoke cleared, Seri stood, her fist cloaked in a distorted field. She hadn’t dissipated the Gravity Surge. Instead, she drew in the energy and readied her Gravity Spike. She had been holding it ever since, waiting for the moment to strike.
The Majin’s laughter slowly died down as she saw the figure standing in the smoke as it slowly revealed that her target was still alive. The only thing that had changed was the fact that Seri’s shades were now missing. This angered the Majin, so much that steam expelled from the holes in her body, before she realized… “I can’t feel you…” The horror would not cross her visage, but her words would be shaky. She was terrified. Seri was still before her, and that power had returned. This wasn’t how this was supposed to go!
“How…how are you still alive? How did you manage to avoid me?!” Seri tapped her temple, indicating to her missing shades. “Easily. All I had to do was pour a minute amount of Ki into my shades. And the only reason I’m telling you, is because you’ll be dead, gone, and never coming back by the time I’m done with you. Not even Hell will have a place for you. Try nothingness. Emptiness. Eternal loneliness. That’s all that awaits your voracity.”
Seri began walking forward, silvery green Ki flowing around the Earthling Fighter. She didn’t have long with this power before it would fade, and she could already tell the aftereffects would be incredibly negative. She could only hope that one of her friends would feel this fight and come running to check out what’s going on. It was only a matter of moments now. This fight wouldn’t last another minute, and she would make sure of that.
The Majin was nearly frozen in fear. This was going to be her end. The Human girl was right. Her voracity was her problem. Her need to feed on all of these insignificant lives was what was costing her own life. It only took one that became more than insignificant to make her see that. The revelation was even more compounded by the fact she was going to be killed by the one she had opened up to. If she could somehow find a way out of this, she wouldn’t be making that mistake again. There was only one chance she had left.
The pink fighter gathered all of the strength that she could, readying tendrils to lash out and grab Seri. If she could get a hold of the young fighter, she could absorb the nuisance. This battle was soon to end, and if she wasn’t to be the victor, she’d at least make it a draw. Her tail was pulled back, ready to pierce Seri through the heart if she wasn’t able to absorb the Human girl. “What are you waiting for? Let’s end this!”
Seri rushed forward, the gravity power in her right fist ready to explode. Seconds were all she had left. She could feel the end of her rope drawing ever closer. It was time to put this fight to rest, and this Majin along with it. “You’re gonna be put down for good!” The rage and determination in Seri’s eyes blazed brightly. Without her shades, her emotion was an open book, and that book showed a brilliant flame that wasn’t about to be put to rest by a voracious animal.
Pink tendrils shot forth towards the charging Human, each aiming to grab and envelop the girl. They wouldn’t be able to find a mark as Seri rolled and dodged around the encroaching tentacles. Each one would be incinerated by a quick ki blast shot in retaliation. There was going to be no trace of the Majin left after Seri was done. She’d make sure of that. As the god ki powered fighter neared her opponent, the tendrils had been dealt with, and that just left her opponent to be dealt with.
The last strike would happen quickly, in just a flash. The Majin struck out with her tail as Seri reared her fist back and punched out. The gravity force was unleashed all on a single spot where the fist had struck, square in the middle of the Majin’s chest. The gravity effect, empowered by the erratic God Ki, caused a miniature black hole that crushed the Majin into nothingness, almost like a drain into the void. And for good measure, Seri charged up and fired the strongest Kamehameha she could muster.
With no trace of the Majin left, Seri let go. Her Ki depleted, she felt the aftereffects quickly take hold of her as she was immediately wrought with agonizing pain. Yelling out hurt even more, so her cries were silent. She had won the fight, and vanquished her foe once and for all, but would she survive herself? The island was breaking apart. She would soon be in the middle of an ocean. How ironic that after killing one of the strongest people she knew, that she’d be subjected to the mercy of the deep.
