The Backlash Wave is what it's named after. Lazenca is well aware that there are better names for it, he just doesn't care enough to change it.

Lazenca is jaded to the fight narrative. Of course Ryugi's the one referenced in the beginning, the one that got annoyed because Lazenca refused to power up and rush through his explosions. He understands their place but wants nothing to do with that style of fighting and made sure anyone he's taught knows that if someone takes the time to shout out their move names, you're well in their right to interrupt them and make them cut their own tongue in half.

I can't remember who it was, but there was someone who either used that against him, and/or subverted his expectations. I knew what was happening, but Laz expects certain ebbs and flows from anime-looking people and is pleasantly surprised when people break the mold.

clash- what happens if the alter energy character collides with a potent dose of
"anti-energy" (reverse polarity) with the same signature as his own, but reversed? (like the equivilent of positrons for every electron, etc.)

the potency is approximately equal to the force he put into destroying the ground.

i do not know if your character is held together with alter energy, or just your arm, or if your arm is a normal construct that was formed by, but is no longer fueled by your alter energy.

im not sure if it will act like a dead zone/null field, or react explosively. Either way, it should be good stuff. 3nodding

Clash's character hit the crystal. i have no idea what happens next.

the amount of Ant-Alter energy is nearly the same as the amount of Alter energy put into your last attack. The original crystal was capable of containing more energy on contact, but the inverted crystal will react thus: either carnivorously devour your alter energy on contact, treating you as a capacitor with extremely low resistance and the crystal being like a giant motor or radio trying to draw as much power as possible to reach equilibrium.
Or, it will act like anti matter to all areas in and around your body that are pure alter energy. The two polarities would annihilate each other and create a terrible explosion. The more Alter Energy flowing through your body, the more your body may react like what would happen if your veins were transmuted into Det-Cord and then ignited.
Option 3 is the alter energy would radiate out of you like a miasma cloud and into the crystal, but the sentient force granting you Alter Energy may find this precarious and shut down your gate access to the Alter Dimension for as long as you are in the presence of its antithesis.

My guess is an electrified sticky chemical-energy explosion with acidic properties, like someone running 2-3 million volts through a Tesla Lithium car battery block. It would be s**t-tastic and good fun all around.
