Story:
"Once upon a time there was a tiny dragon familiar, who was much smaller than the rest of the dragons, they made fun of the runt of the litter and left him behind, tricking him often. Once day the little dragon was tricked into going out into the woods. Where he was left all alone and had no idea how to get home. The little dragon was so sad lost and alone. They thought they would be lost forever. They quickly adapted to their forest home and decided to not seek out the bigger dragons, happier on their own than living with those who were cruel."
Response: Eirian looked at the picture and thought of what she could say about it, she looked at the tiny dragon like creature, she liked that she had gotten this picture, she wondered if there was a familiar out there that was as tiny as a finger. Eirian smiled and then wrote.

Username: nasaiki Student Name: Mai Number Rolled:2 Story: Long ago there were majestic creatures that swam through the sea. They were the kings of their domain and they brought joy to those that saw gem. However those on land were greedy. They had plenty of resources to try to gain energy from but instead they found ways to get their energy through hurting others. They realized these majestic sea kings could fuel so much of their technology and keep them warm. So they descended upon the majestic sea kings with a furry. Blood ran heavily in the water from the death upon death. Some sea kings had teeth and could fight back, but others others were gentle and couldn't fight. They pleaded towards the gods to save them. They knew that one day. One day the land creatures would understand and they could live peacefully. The gods were angry. Angry their creatures had turned on each other. However they listed to the sea kings pleas and instead of wiping out the land creatures gave the sea kings the power to escape into the sky. So the sea kings did. Always waiting for the day that the land creatures would understand their plight and they could return to the sea. Response: Mai tapped her fingers on the desk. A story about a whale in the sky. Frowning she looked closer at the picture. Was that a whaling boat? Hmmm a whale in the sky and a whaling boat. Running a hand through her hair and of course messing it up she thought of a story she could tell. It would have to be fasntasy. Those where easier for her to write. The teacher wouldn't appreciate if she turned a novel so maybe do it myth style? Ugh creative writing was not her forte. She was better with plants. Then again one didn't often deal with plants at the academy.
Finally an idea came to her and she quickly wrote it on paper. There it wasn't too long and hopefully just long enough. She could always try to add more to it later if she had somehow gotten it too short. Wouldn't it be nice though, those that were hunted to be able to escape somewhere safe.

Username: nasaiki Student Name: Ren Number Rolled: Story: Sit down and let me tell you a story. A story about a tiny little friend. You see haven't you ever wondered why sometimes things move? Why you find them in a completely different spot. Unknown to the world there are tiny little creatures. the size of the end of your finger. that live in our house with us. This is the story of how they came to be. Drimkbes didn't always dwell in nightmare houses. They frolicked in meadows and forests. However they were little often got preyed upon. The largest Drimkbe worried about the little tiny ones. They had lost so many the winter before, that they knew something had to be done so they sent out on a journey. They tried many different places but each place was dangerous or uncomfortable for the little tiny drimkbe. Until they ventured into a nearby nightmare town and discovered houses. When a large storm hit the drimkbe was forced to go into one of these large dry places. It was awesome with all these strange things the drimkbe had never seen. It was paradise for the drimkbe. Only the owner got mad at the intrusion and was mean when it discovered the drimkbe, just the mean large predators. The little drimkbe got mad. Here was this wonderful warm space with all these awesome things ad the huge being was being mean and not sharing. They were tired of being driven out from place to place. Tired of watching the others get eaten. So it used all of its magic and pranked the house. Moved its fancy gadgets and socks to places it would never find them. Raided all of its sweet food. It was so angry that afterwards it flew out of the house. However a storm hit and it was forced into another nightmare dwelling. Expecting to get bullied again, it was pleasantly surprised when this huge being helped it. Left out places for it to sleep and gave it food and warmth. The drimkbe realized there where different types of these huge being and some where really nice. It went home after the storm to tell the other drimkbes there where large dry Places with nice large beings. However there were also large dry places with mean large beings and to be careful and prank them if they were getting annoying. So it's said if your stuff appears in different places that you have angered a tiny little drimkbe but if you change your ways and befriend it. Give it a warm place to stay, good thing will happen. Lost things will turn up. Response: Ren was okay when it came to writing fiction. He obviously preferred dealing with scientific facts, but some times you needed imagination to see possibilities. So he wrote every once in a while. It was a secret he hadnt told anyone. Still a tiny dragon, or what looked to be a tiny dragon. Hmm what if chimera could turn into tiny dragons like Kirin or Grimm could transform. Here he was getting off topic. Still as he looked over to where Mai was thinking about her own story. Drumming his fingers on his leg he picked up the pen and just started writing the thoughts in his head. If they ended up chaotic and jumbled up. He would just always fix it before turning the story in. It would be a good template. He wondered if there was tiny dragons out there. So many different kinds of familiars where found each year after all.

Username: Circus of Values Student Name: Arcadia Number Rolled: 4
Story: In a cold and apocalyptic future a boy set off to find the final remaining plant life to exist. He had heard tales of the small plant from his grandfather, every night he would tell the boy of the sprout, the tale being if you were the one to find the sprout you could be the one to save the world. He started his journey the day his grandfather took his last breath, with nothing left in the world he left all he knew. He traveled across the globe growing weary as he grew older, the world was a dark and depressing place... When all hope seemed lost and the boy was ready to give up on his travels he met a lone wolf who asked the boy for his final sip of water, promising if he gave it to him he would help him find the sprout, With little to lose he poured it into the wolves mouth... The wolf moved aside and showed the man the tiny sprout, he was the guardian on the plant, many before the boy had tried, but upon the final test had been too greedy. Before his eyes the ground flushed a lush green, spreading outwards and all around the man and the wolf, the story had been fulfilled and with that the old man died with a smile on his face.
Response: Arcadia read back through her story tapping the pen to her chin. She hadn't meant for it to turn so dark, but she enjoyed the overall feel of the story, she man giving up his last drink to save the wolf showed the man had a good heart, and with that her saved the world. She was feeling pretty proud of herself, She hadn't struggled with that like she had maths, that's for sure!

Username: Midnightglow18 Student Name: Marco
Haiku: Days in the sun fun Catching a wave feeling brave Standing on my own
Response: Marco wrote one poem and tore it up not liking it one bit, he sighed and tried again and again till he finally found a poem he thought was good enough to turn into the teacher. Writing poems really wasn't his thing, but he was pretty sure he had to write a poem for his last language arts class as well. He looked around the classroom wondering if any of the other students were having trouble with this assignment. He sighed and leaned back in his chair after he finished his poem he let himself daydream about surfing. He was pretty sure he didn't want to go to university when he graduated he'd rather be a surfer.

Haiku: Cake and tea yes please Charming fun for everyone Come on in let's begin
Response: Micari wasn't really sure what her poem was about maybe making food and sharing it with other people that sorta made sense, she made cakes and cookies she didn't really do poems. Oh well it was no big deal she had written the poem and she would hand it into the teacher. Micari sighed she would have to do another language arts class next year as well, oh well it would be alright, she would get it done in her own time. She smiled it was also a cute poem in her opinion really she hoped others liked it too.

Username: Midnightglow18 Student Name: Shock Number Rolled: 2
Story: Shock wrote a story about a fire whale because he thought the sunset clouds looked like flames.
Response: Shock looked at the whale in the clouds it looked really amazing but to him the clouds kinda looked like fire in the sunset so he wrote. "The coolest fire whale ever flew through the sky and then drove down on a boat destroying it, the fire whale was the most powerful creature ever, it was the biggest and the best whale ever, cause fire is kool." He wrote his story it was silly and freshlingish. He was having fun writing his story. Selkie seemed to have been right if Shock didn't put the expectations on himself that others tried to set for him he was free to actually like school a little. So he sat there writing his story about the fire whale till the class ended and he handed his story into the teacher and headed for his next class. The best part of the day was still lunch and break though.

Story: Sky whale
Response: Aelius looked at the picture of the whale in the clouds and he pondered what sort of story he should write. He wrote "Once upon a time there was a magical beast that flew through the clouds, they were a majestic sight to behold. Those who saw the creature were said to be blessed by the ocean. Ships would sail their whole lives and never caught sight of one of the sky whales. One young sailor was out on the sea on the day at sunset he caught sight of the sky whale moving slowly through the clouds. The dying sunlight playing colors on the whales' skin." Aelius Jr smiled as he wrote his story he enjoyed this class and this picture was really pretty. He wondered what others thought of for a story looking at the whale in the sky. Aelius Jr got up and handed his story into the teacher.

Haiku: Trying to figure out who I'm meant to be forever Not an easy thing too
Response: Yinzhen sighed she head her poem and she didn't like it very much but she couldn't think of anything else to write that day, oh well she handed the poem into the teacher and started writing other poems trying to come up with something better. She also wrote a note to the teacher that she would have rather written a free form poem than a haiku she felt that the haiku was a bit restrictive for being creative. Then Yin left the classroom, she had other things she needed to do that day and she wanted to go see her moms today.
