...But We Are Not Men.

Foal Name: Tatia
Temper: (Optional)
Her story:
Tatia practices her fighting often and seeks instruction from any and all that would care to teach her. Sadly her ability to actually put those lessons into practice are forgotten any time she is actually is in a situation of confrontation. Tatia is like a small dog that is full of bravado but in the long run she'd turn tail and escape. If she were cornered Tatia's panic would override all the knowledge she'd drilled into her head and become a whirling dervish striking out at anything and everything to come into range.

Favorite GoT Character: I don't watch the show. No HBO. One day I will board the bandwagon but I haven't yet.

All Men Must Die...

Foal Name: Edda Stark (named after Eddard Stark, Arya's father)
Temper: Valiant
Personality: Edda is determined to live up to the name that her mother gave her. Long has she heard the stories about how great Eddard Stark was and long has she wished she could have met her namesake. Within her blood she carries the blood of warriors of the North and this helps fuel her ambition. More than anything, she wishes to travel alongside her parents, protect her siblings and take back what was rightfully theirs. Why shouldn't they reclaim their home they were cast away from? It's her mother's by birthright, isn't it?
Well, that doesn't matter, what does matter is that they will do it and Edda will fight fang and claw every step of the way to ensure that honor is restored to the Stark name.
Plots?: Family plots! Edda is going to feel the closest to her mother, wanting to take on all of her mother's burdens and help her to reclaim their homeland. While Edda may be a little too ambitious for her own good (since she would rather fight than go hunting for her aunt and uncles, who may or may not still be alive--why are they wasting time hunting down the probable-dead, is something she will never understand.)

She's more than happy to let Rodrick assume leadership of her siblings while she is following Arya's pawsteps. She's certain that her brother will do everything in his power to protect the twins, which will give her more time to follow after her mother and father and try time and time again to convince her parents that they ought to be planning to return to the north, rather than parade about the Kawani lands.

Depending on whether or whether not her parents listen to her will determine whether she decides to try and rally her siblings to following her back into the North or whether she stays with her parents. So, yeah, all the family plots forever!
Who do you want to end up on the Throne & why?: I would love Tyrion to end up on the Throne. Like, just totally lay to waste everyone's prejudice about how a dwarf couldn't end up as the ruler of the seven kingdoms. Can you imagine what a sarcastic king he would be? Oh man, it'd be great.

All Men Must Die...

Foal Name: Alys Stark
Temper: Refined
Personality: Although both of her parents are well-versed in fighting, Alys never had an appetite for honing her skills in weaponry or battling. Instead, Alys spent her time grooming herself, making as many friends as she could, and practicing her manners. Polite and respectable, Alys hopes to become a proper mare one day. Despite this, she has a temper and is known to give others a talking to if the situation warrants it (ex: she sees someone being taken advantage of or hurt). Being the eldest, Alys wants to make her family proud; but, she's still trying to understand how to do this.

Plots?: Besides family plotting, I have a couple of ideas for Alys. Since she wants to be considered proper and sophisticated, I could see her trying to meet with many different soquili or familiars in hopes of becoming more knowledgeable about various topics. Another plot I thought about for Alys would be for her to learn to love and respect herself as I see her wanting to please others so much that she forgets about herself.

Who do you want to end up on the Throne & why?: Although Sansa is my favourite from the books, I can't really see her ending up on the throne. Through reading the books, I always thought that somehow Gendry might be the one to end up on the throne. Despite not appearing much, I always imagined that he might have a greater purpose.

...But We Are Not Men.

Foal Name: Meera "Stoneheart" Stark
Temper: Chilling
Her story: ((I'm a bit frazzled so no dialogue, not that she's really one for words.))
An ideal day for Meera would be to snuggle up to her twin Astrid, she wishes that every day would be like this. Astrid is the light to her dark days and saves her from the shadows. Even if they are both terribly scared of this world and scared of the people in it, they have each other. Their mother always mentions things about the honour of their house and what must be done to protect it but Meera senses that Arya is trying to overwrite her doubts with blind determination. Arya will walk the earth until her form is a skeleton if she doesn't find her family, she will walk her pads raw and her muscles sore, and Meera will follow her mother until she is reunited with this wonderful family she talks about. Worry has broken Meera and sometimes she will just stop and give a chilling stare, she can't imagine what her mother must have gone through, this worries Arya a little and she tries her hardest to take that as feedback that her own emotions are showing. She does not wish to share this emotional burden with her children.

On a typical day you could most likely call her the dreamy lazybones of the family, the one who does not like to get her paws dirty, the lady to be. She is still rough around the edges by the standards of etiquette amongst lords and ladies but that's because she did not have a septa to watch over her. Oh how foolish she is to think that having a septa would be an enjoyable experience, she never did understand why her mum seemed to hate the idea. She has some naivety that brings Arya closer to home because she reminds her of her sister in some ways, as she was when tragedy struck but Meera doesn't know it.

Favorite GoT Character: Brienne of Tarth!! ((This was so hard.. I really like Bronn, Lord Varys, Ned, hodor and tyrion too haha... I like so many more too... help...drowning in all these cool characters!))

...But We Are Not Men.

Foal Name: Eyrienne Stark
Temper: (Optional)
Her story:

It was a wonderful day.

Around her was a gaggle of hens. Wild game hens that she'd worked so hard at taming. And sheltering. They made wonderful feathery companions in winter, adding extra warmth despite her own plentiful pelt.

It made for interesting circumstances and never seemed to stop providing - her at least - amusement.

Her parents thought it odd. Especially when she didn't want to eat them. Why not eat them if you were going to raise them?

Oh, but Eyrienne had a soft spot for those cluckers, and they filled her ears with such repetitive noise it was relaxing and lulling.

Then with a loud "BAWKAWWWWWW!" there was an explosion of feathers as her birds freaked out!

"Rodriiiick, stop scaring them!"

Her eyes wide, she scrambled with exaggerated slowness to try and shush them! But her clanking sword against the ground as she tried to hunker down just made things WORSE.

Never a dull moment, right?

Favorite GoT Character: Man. So many good characters...but currently imma say Sansa

All Men Must Die...

Foal Name: Qhorinth Stark
Temper: none
Personality:
Plots?: was typing on my phone and it erased itself when I went to help a customer =__=.

Qhor is incredibly smart, but because she was teased as a foal, she hides it. She plays innocent and naive, only showing her true self to her mother and father.

She has great memory, and uses it to know her surroundings.

She is very dexterous, often scaring others by making them think she is about to fall off a cliff or trip on a log.

She loves to adventure and explore, learning everything she can while still pretending to be naive.

I would love for her to get injured while trying to first learn how to be naive and have her brother or her dad yell at her for it.

Who do you want to end up on the Throne & why?: Gendry <3. Because "he makes my over is drop" as my bf would say lD. Also, I think he would be good and humble about it. And I want him to end up with Arry >3>.

All Men Must Die...

Foal Name: Lyarra Stark
Temper: Resolute
Personality:
As the eldest child, she takes her responsibility for the welfare of her family seriously and feels a strong kinship with Rodrick as a result. But while their goals may be the same, their methods differ: Lyarra (Lyra to her family) prefers the silver of her tongue to the steel of a blade, and the combination of her father’s sincerity and her mother’s tenacity leads her to be a formidable diplomat. Let her brother take the command, and she the court. She’ll play her part as the perfect daughter: demure, unthreatening, invisible. While all eyes turn to her parents and her brother, she’ll hide in plain sight, plucking intelligence like needles among the hay and relaying them to Rodrick during the quiet hours of the night. Who else, after all, would be as invested in the family’s safety as he? Together, they can ensure their family’s protection.

Those who visit under her care are not intimidated so much as charmed, and she forges alliances and treaties with ease; she has a keen eye and ear for the lives of others and she plays it to her family’s advantage. Sometimes, however, this causes her to view others not as people, but as things to be manipulated and controlled. Thankfully, her family’s love is always there to ground her and remind her that nothing is worth losing her compassion.

Plots?:
(Family)
Family will be a big part of Lyra’s life—especially those of her siblings—and I would love to look into her thoughts about, as well as her relationship with, her younger sisters after their personalities are determined!

What Once Was
Sometimes, Lyra wonders if her mother had two sets of twins and not one. She cares deeply for her brother and believes their bond is as strong as the one that exists between their younger sisters. It is precisely because of this that his actions cut deep—both for good and for bad. I was hoping we could explore the nature of the two siblings’ relationship, especially under strain. One idea I had was that they had conflicting opinions on how to deal with a potential threat, and while they've had their differences before, one in particular leads to drastic consequences. As an example, Lyra could have lied about the nature of the problem to downplay the danger, but Rodrick behaves recklessly anyway, which could result in a ruined diplomatic relationship that threatens war, another family member getting permanently injured, a skinwalker escaping their hold and attacking their guests and neighbors, etc. Of course, details are up for discussion, but it would ultimately culminate in both sides getting hurt and neither is truly free from blame. In an act that's perceived as abandonment of her duties, Lyra will take a page out of her parents’ book and travel outside of the herd.

On the Road
She is well-practiced with a sword and will not hesitate to fight when words alone are not enough. There will be no passion in the act, however—only duty. Her brother’s dedication to his work, to the point where his social skills were nearly nonexistent, was the one thing about him that she never truly understood. When she begins traveling, however, she finds that self-defense is becoming more and more necessary. After a particularly vicious fight terminating in her victory, she can see why it might be appealing: she is directly in control of her fate as well as that of others, and such an assurance is hard to find elsewhere. This is the pivotal point after which her fighting skills will begin coming to the fore.

Sellsword
Lyra grows into her independence and the difficulties that come alongside it. No longer having her family to fall back upon, she must learn to be compassionate under her own strength, and not only when she thinks her parents and siblings are there to remind her. Parallel to this, she adopts the archetype of the sellsword: mercenaries are common enough wherever she goes, after all, and it’s the easiest guise to wear that results in the least amount of questions. She has nothing to hide, but she has nothing she wants to divulge, either. And besides, herds will sometimes reward her for her services with food and a place to stay for the night. If the moon is clouded, she can pretend the sound of the sleeping bodies around her are her family. (I imagine one of these nights, after a bit of mead, she’ll go to some poor stallion and apologize, calling him by her brother’s name. She'll try to swear off drink after this.)

(Optional)
During her sellsword stint, she may possibly come across the other Starks (e.g. if she gets mercenary work related to them) or even her parent(s).

Ripple Effect
You play a part enough, and eventually it just becomes natural. She had never intended to take on a big job, but it falls on her lap and, well, what else is she going to do? (She’d told herself every morning that that was the day she would go back home, be an adult, and move on—but she’d been gone so long now that she didn’t think she could just waltz back in. The job, if anything, would at least allow her to pretend she had little choice in the matter.) She, as well as a handful of other mercenaries, are tasked with guarding the transport of a politically important individual who, for the sake of avoiding vague nondescript terms in the following plots, we will assume is a stallion named Laurent.

Heed the Call
As mere sellswords, she and her group were never meant to get close to Laurent. Luck, of course, cares little for intentions. A well-planned ambush cleaves the party in two, leaving Laurent trapped with the mercenaries. A few contemplate abandoning him once it becomes clear the enemy contains more well-trained soldiers than they’d bargained for. Lyra quickly takes control, forcing the weak-hearted to leave and keeping the rest in line. Her skill with diplomacy comes to play, and with the use of her strength as well as her cunning, she is able to overpower or outmaneuver their enemies and lead Laurent back to his herd. The rest of the transport is manageable after this, and she and Laurent grow closer during their travels.

If Wishes Were Fishes
Lyra and some of the mercenaries are offered more permanent positions after their exemplary display of skill and loyalty during the transport. She knows she should decline, but as of late, she’s found that being with Laurent causes her heart to beat in a way that’s both painful and pleasant. Before she can act on her feelings, however, she is thrown amidst another political turmoil. Laurent’s leadership is threatened (and again to avoid vague terms, we shall assume) when his mother, the Queen, is killed with the majority of the herd’s warriors in a raid gone wrong. Many believe Laurent to be too young to assume her role, and his once-banished Uncle takes advantage and appears with a small army and his eye on the throne. The herd is struggling under the loss of their fighters and loyalty is fractured between the Uncle who promises safety and protection and the heir who is young and untested but true. Laurent admits to Lyra that amidst such frazzled ties, she (who defended him so stalwartly when they were merely strangers) is the only one he can truly trust. She swallows her feelings for his sake, and stays by his side to help guide him through the turmoil.

(Optional)
With GoT having being built upon conflict between different families, I feel this plot has a lot of potential, such as by having Laurent be part of an allied herd, or even an enemy herd (e.g. the Starks had conflicts with the previous Queen). There is opportunity, too, for the Stark family as a whole to be involved (and force a reunion with Lyra and her family despite the fact that she is still, at this point, avoiding the North). An idea I was thinking about, depending on Arya and Yorick's view on the subject, was that Lyra was being considered as a marriage candidate to Laurent to either strengthen their ties (if they were an allying herd) or forge new bonds (if they were initially an opposing or neutral herd). Of course, the main problem would be numbers and interest: most of Laurent's herd will probably be NPCs, and if other Stark owners are uninterested in pursuing the plot, I would be happy to keep it individual and separate from the family.

Pave the Way Forward
Regardless of how the conflict ends, Lyra is finally able to admit her feelings for Laurent… and is summarily rejected. (This includes the marriage plans, if we were considering that plot. If Laurent's herd comes to fruition and is not simply an NPC herd, an alternative idea is that Lyra's feelings are returned and the marriage goes through, but the Uncle kills Laurent and Lyra must escape back to her herd with their unborn children. Lyra's firstborn would be considered the rightful heir of Laurent's herd, and the Starks would be involved in the ensuing political struggle.)

Lyra's heart breaks at the loss, but does not shatter: she knows there are others still who love her, who have never stopped loving her. She has learned much on her journey: her time pretending to be a common sellsword taught her how to befriend the laypeople as well as the nobles; her nights alone taught her independence and to stand on her own strength; and her adventure with Laurent taught her to treat others as individuals, rather than seeing them as only tools to use or benefit from.

Finally, she is ready to return home and face her family.

Who do you want to end up on the Throne & why?: Khal Drogo’s abs.

Ugh, I honestly don't even know what to say here. This may sound like a backwards thing, but Lyarra is everything I didn't want for this girl when I first saw her a few months back. I had in my head something completely different, and then. Lyarra happened. And I fell in love with her from the very first sentence. I think that's why I adore her -- she shocked me. And she's such a wonderful juxtaposition to what she looks like as an adult! I was drawn to the quietness that surrounded her aura when I read this, surrounded by an otherwise chaotic world. These characters are at their core very loud, crazy, and violently demanding muses.....and Lyarra stood out in my mind like the calm beneath the surface. Like Dany in season one when she stepped from the flames, Lyarra too, came out of the chaos unscathed. I felt Lyarra fully there within my story. She fits in unbelievably well with things I could see happening with the family down the line, and oh god the plots. The plots. Can they just happen now, please?

Tom Hanks you for giving her to me. She opened up a door I didn't know was there. (WILL SHE HOLD IT FOR ME TOO?) -sadface-

However, that's not all!!

Kaya Wolf Moon. Arsa Stark.
All Men Must Die...

Foal Name: Arsa Stark
Temper: Competitive
Personality: Arsa Stark is a competitive little filly. She holds herself and her abilities in high regard and will not tolerate being derided or patronized. Woe be to anyone who tries to do so! She will not hesitate to jab her paw into the offender’s face (or worse!) if she even catches rumor of it. Arsa has trained very hard to overcome any stigmas that might abound about stallions being better at everything than mares. Her self-confidence and assuredness in such matters are second to none. But, if there are still any doubts, then feel free to challenge her. She’ll take it easy on her challenger…maybe…or not…depends on how much she was offended.

This competitiveness arose in part to her brother. His protective attitude towards his sisters always rubbed Arsa the wrong way. She is the eldest, after all, and for him to protect her is simply insulting. The very idea that his positon as the only boy in the family gives him credence as a better fighter, protector, and leader is absurd in Arsa’s opinion. Due to this, she has made him her rival in every way imaginable. Whether it be sparring, learning to use weaponry, or merely seeing who finishes dinner first. Arsa must be stronger, faster, wiser, and all out better, in all that she does. Losing to him is just not an option.

Arsa has even gone so far as to make their social lives into a competition. She already considers herself having a leg up in this case since her brother doesn’t actually care to have a social life. He’ll continuously train while she takes a break to play with her other siblings and father. But, even when she’s taking a break, she’s not really taking a break. In other words, Arsa uses the moments of downtime to clear her head and to work through a problem. She sees every moment, be it playing or training or living, as a learning opportunity. After all, social skills are equally as important as combative skills. They allow for a better understanding of the finer nuances of communication. Such as the involuntary muscle twitches which accompany a lie when someone is trying to cover their own skin or the overly smooth and controlled language utilize when trying to pull a fast one.

Her competitive and self-confident nature can sometimes come off as bossy to her other siblings. She honestly doesn’t care that it does though, since someone must keep them in line. And at least she knows when to back off…unlike a certain brother of hers who shall remain nameless. Under all of that, however, Arsa merely longs to be accepted as an equal. Her gender and status are not as important in her mind as her skill and capability in defending the family. She doesn’t wish to be viewed as just another sister or child to be protected. No, her passions and dreams burn much brighter than that. Arsa dreams to take on the mantle of guardian of the family and enactor of retribution upon their enemies. To stand alongside her mother and father, with her brother admitting her his unerring equal.
Plots?
1. Game of Heirs- Arsa is but a foal yet she knows exactly what she wants. She wants to become the guardian of the family and to follow in her mother’s hoofsteps. However, her brother seems to have different ideas as to who should be the protector and leader. Arsa realizes instantly whom it is that she needs to overcome. She takes it upon herself to demonstrate her abilities, challenging him to a game of sorts. What sort of game is afoot? And what sort of consequences might arise? *Note* The game would be pretty much anything. I didn’t want to name anything specifically in order to leave it open to collaboration.

2. A Clash of Wills- There is more than one way to do anything. Whether or not it’s the correct way, however, is a different story. Arsa believes that her way is the right way and that her brother’s way is wrong. Neither of them are willing to back down on the matter, leaving their siblings caught in the middle. What will happen when each decides to approach the issue in their own manner? A clash of wills is at hand! *Note* I have her focusing more on her brother for now. Depending on the other sisters’ personalities, she may also see them as challengers whom she needs to prove herself to.

3. A Storm of Words- Arsa has had enough of her status and gender being used to pigeon-hole her into a particular station in life. She grows angered by a passing comment and, unable to restrain herself, she lets fly with a storm of words. The exchange becomes immensely heated and a fight ensues. Things are said that can never be taken back. Unforgiveable offenses take place. What sorts of things occur? Who is the offender and will Arsa chose to eventually let bygones be bygones? *Note* I felt it was best to leave this one vague. It could easily be a supposed friend or an elitist Soquili who speaks the offending words to Arsa. The resulting fight could potentially be worked into a separate plot, should her mother or father need to become involved.

4. A Feast for Death- Arsa is now a young mare attending a “hunt” with her mother for the first time as an official participant. She is thrilled with this prospect, having trained tirelessly throughout her foalhood for this very moment. Their enemies are within their grasp and Arsa will not hesitate to bring swift justice. However, killing does not come as easily as that. Once into the fray, Arsa realizes that there is far more involved in killing another. Her body is physically capable, but is her mind able to cope? The psychological ramifications are far greater than first thought. Are Arsa’s dreams dashed for all time? *Note* This plot is heavily reliant on her mother, Arya. It can be altered to match what best fits the overall plot for the family.

5. A Dance of Nightmares- After the events of the previous plot, Arsa is left to deal with the repercussions. Still in the throes of uncertainty, her resolve is challenged even further when she encounters an unlikely foe. A wolf in sheep’s clothing appears and drags not only Arsa, but another of her family members into dire circumstances. Arsa must overcome her self-doubt and fight to save the things she holds dear. Will she succeed or will she fall? Only time will tell. *Note* This plot can involve a parent or one of her siblings. I personally think it would be most interesting if it was her brother who became entangled in the web of the enemy, but it’d work with any of them.

6. A Song of Love and Hate- Years have passed with Arsa continuing her journey to obtain her dreams. Acceptance is what she longs for. But will she ever receive it? A tale of love and hate, hers is one that is far from finished. Many twists abound as she presses onward, in search of those elusive words- “We are equal.” *Note* So I felt this should be left open-ended to create room for further plots. I think she would start branching out in terms of whom she wanted to gain acceptance from. It’d not only be her brother in the end, or even her parents and other siblings, but the world in general and ultimately her one true love (should she find such a thing).

Who do you want to end up on the Throne & why?: So I may be hopping on a bandwagon here but I’d have to say Jon Snow. Dude has survived so much stuff, lost so much, and recently is starting to gain some of it back. Is it bad that I sort of want him and Daenarys to get together? >.>

Wow this was a tough call, I wish I had two girls to give away! Oh, wait....I do. WELL THEN. Nah, I kid but anyway, man, Kaya. Thank you for this. Her dynamic with Rodrick made me super giddy -- and for that reason, I want to offer you a mock permission for a future daughter (or son it doesn't matter!) so that this could potentially be something in the future!! Arsa is incredible, and I'd love for her (or him) to become a part of my story some day!

THANK YOU GUYS!!!!

As for the twin.....

Thalea
...But We Are Not Men.

Foal Name: Aloy Stark
Temper: Altruistic
Her story:

“This is the story of how I died… oh wait wrong story, not my story, but interesting nonetheless. There is magic, adventure, romance, and dashing stallion named—”

“Aloy! Get on with the right story!”

“Oh sorry, I digress, this is the story of how I became a protector of good and a nuisance to evil.”

How is one to know that a day would be different from the rest? That one event would cause a ripple effect that would forever change the course of one’s destiny? And how was that individual to know that such an action would then forever define them? Truth is, you never know. Some accept the worn path stretching out before them, while others bravely strike their own. Is this one of those tales? Only time will tell.

Fresh blood soaked the dry dusty earth; the dehydrated land thirsted for water but settled for the blood instead. The body of the stallion was still warm; rigor mortis would not set in for a few more hours. The woods were not silent at the horror before them, instead they sang with life, oblivious to the brutal scene. Closer to the body, the sounds of the woods were drowned out by yowls of grief and heartbreak.

A mare stood above the slowly cooling body of her mate, her own coat caked in blood. None of it was hers. A heart wrenching sound was emanating from the mare; her grief was almost palpable.

Aloy stood in the shadows, watching the mare and not knowing what to do. The scent of blood had drawn her to this horrid scene; the wolf mare did not know why she stayed, nevertheless she wanted to help the family in any way that she could. As she was deliberating her next move, a stallion approached her, his grief was almost as palpable as the mare’s, and his voice was barely above a whisper “His death was frivolous, he died because he had in possession something shiny. If my brother had just given the Beast the stupid trinket perhaps he would be alive right now. Family heirloom or not, it was not worth dying over.”

Aloy stood in silence, she was a stranger and yet the grieving brother welcomed her and told the sad tale he had witnessed. A dangerous idea came to mind, it would not bring back the dead and it may even get her killed, but it was worth a shot.

“Do you want it back?”

The stallion gave her a perplexed look, surprised at her presence or question Aloy did not know. So she rephrased the question, “Do you want the trinket that was stolen?”

A battle of emotions crossed the stallion’s countenance: anger, hope, despair. “I know the answer should be ‘no’, it only caused heartache, but it was something my brother prized more than his own life,” a long sigh escaped the stallion, “yes, if possible, I would want the cursed thing back.”

“And so the great Aloy learned all she could of her prey and went off in search for the trinket for she is brave, kind, compassionate, resourceful –”

“And going off on a tangent, Aloy focus!”

“Oh right, sorry, where was I?”

The beast that had taken a life for a trinket appeared to be monster inside and out. The description the stallion gave could give any one nightmares and here she was about to steal from it. Aloy was many things, including smart, but sometimes compassion and the need to help others overruled her self-preservation reflex.

For as long as she could remember, Aloy felt the need to help those less fortunate. This would manifest in all sorts of ways from sharing her meals, hunting or gathering, and even taking on the role of protector. It irked her to see people live in excess while there were so many who were suffering; however she had done nothing about it before today, this is the first time that she was actually going to steal anything. Would it become a habit? Perhaps in modulation and only stealing from those who stole in the first place. In this situation, she knew that the trinket would not bring back the dead, but she wanted to bring some happiness to the family who just lost someone. Aloy just wanted everyone to be happy (well not the ones that were evil and stealing from the less fortunate of course).

It was insanely easy to track the monster back to its lair; he was begging to be followed and discovered. “IT’S A TRAP!” screamed in Aloy’s head as she surveyed the scene but there was no use getting her tail into a twist worrying about it. She had made a promise and she would keep that promise no matter what.

The worst part about the lair was the putrid stench it exuded; it caused her eyes to burn and her nose to itch. The smell would make it harder to track the beast, but then the same could be said vice a versa; he would have trouble catching her scent.

No time like the present. With that thought, Aloy jumped out of hiding and snuck into the cave, activating the trap placed by the monster.

“The End.”

“Wait, what happened? I know you lived of course, but what happened after you activated the trap?”

“I can’t let you know all my secrets. However, I can tell you this; I snagged the trinket and a few others before getting out of that disgusting cave. Seriously that monster needs to pick up after himself.”

“….”

“And that is how I became the Great Aloy, Protector of Good and nagging fly, I mean Nuisance to Evil!”

“But…”

“Just go with it. It’s a story for another time, and let me tell you, it’s a riveting one!”

Before I say anything, can I get you to PM me? I need to talk to you about something....
Okay so oh my goodness, I cackled like a madwoman reading this story. Above all else, it kept creeping back into my head no matter what I was doing or whose entry I was reading, this story wouldn't go away. She was so wonderfully absurd, and another perfect example of wild juxtaposition with what I was anticipating. The underlying heroism to her otherwise madwoman demeanor kept me wanting more and more and moooooore. Plus, with Lyarra the way she is going to be, Rodrick the way he is, and my twin....the way I'm currently still planning on making her....this little girl is quite the wild ride. She's cocky & a little careless like her parents -- combined into a perfect ball of unique individuality. Yes, I did use Lyarra's personality to help me pick a winner for this lmfao. xD! All four of the kids have the same basic trait -- and that's goodness. They just go about it quite differently, and I love it!

And with Rodrick, I feel this girl will be interesting. xD!

BUT WAIT, THERE IS STILL MORE OMG MAKE IT STOPPP!!!

Nyx Queen of Darkness
, Torrhen Stark
...But We Are Not Men.

Foal Name: Torrhen Stark

Named for Torrhen Stark who may have been the first named Warden of the North and Lord of Winterfell after he bent the knee to Aegon the Conqueror after the events of Harrenhal. He was known as the King Who Knelt (ultimately saving his men from dragon fire).
Temper: Presaging -(of an event) be a sign or warning that (something, typically something bad) will happen.
Her story:

What is dead, stays dead, but in the dreams it was otherwise

It was the wolf dream again. Torrhen had been having them since she was a filly, but she had not spoke of them to anyone but Astrid. It was always the same dream.

There had always been a Stark in Winterfell; it was the way of things before the Great War. Now, the herd was shattered ruins, and in her dreams, Torrhen tread on grounds she had never walked on in life. The field of battle was grey ash, and the other wolves were scavenging amongst the dead. In the wolf dream, she’d snarled, for she knew the bodies for her own kin, though she did not know them.

The grey mists and ash swirled around her until she could see nothing. She was not afraid, though; she knew, as her mother had taught her, what fear could cost you. She only ever truly feared for her siblings, Astrid most of all. Almost as soon as she thought it, she heard her sister’s voice, raised in fear. She flew through the smoke and ash without fear for herself. Fear cuts deeper than swords. The mare who fears losing has already lost. She shoved away the fear as she ran toward her sister, the mirrored half of her soul. A mare is not afraid.

Torrhen ran until she felt rough stone beneath her feet. Down, down she descended into hell as she moved closer to Astrid’s voice. The smoke and ash cleared, and she could taste the bitter salt of tears she had not known she could cry. Astrid was not there - but there were hundreds of statues. As she moved between them, she saw the name Stark inscribed at each base. These were the crypts of her ancestors, a place of legend she had never seen herself.

As always, though, it was the cold that came biting, and not long after came the creak of moving stone. “Astrid?” Torrhen called out, her heart racing as she bared her wolf fangs. But it smelled like death here, as though there was rotting flesh that had been uncovered, and somehow it grew closer. “Astrid!” she screamed, but the cold bit even deeper until her wolf bones were chilled. Then she was there - Astrid, with her worried eyes and distraught look. She saw Torrhen through the wolf dream, as she always had, knew that the wolf that stood in front of her was her sister.

“It’s coming.” Astrid looked at her with fear.

Torrhen's wolf voice failed her when she tried to ask what Astrid meant. Did she mean winter? Did she mean something even worse? But Astrid was not looking at her anymore; she looked down the dark corridors where there was a great shuffling sound. “Dead is dead.” Astrid looked at her again with those big eyes.

Then she woke, as always. She did not know what it meant. Were the legends true? Was her dream a prophecy? A warning? Or just a bad reoccurring dream? As she lay beside her sister, she could feel fear racing in her veins. It should mean nothing, but somehow it felt as though something was coming for them. She wished it was only winter... but then winter was always the metaphor, wasn’t it?

Favorite GoT Character: I'm going to go ahead and assume you know Jon, so other than that my favs are Ashara Dayne (I have wild fan theories about her and why Benjen Stark wen to the Watch), Deloorous Edd Tollett because my god, comic relief, and Bedric Dondarrion, because...dude's got it.

Hgnnnn. Ughhnnngng. Torrhen is pefect, that is all.
This story was stunningly beautiful, thank you for writing it. I'd also like to offer you a mock permission, should you accept!! I don't care how, when, or why I just want Torrhen. That is all.
