Where did this kid get a bat from? Though she brought her arms down to try and block the damn attack, she yelped as the kid still managed to hit home, making her stumble back in pain and sparks crackling in the air around her. She'd been about to use her magical attack again, to fry the kid's tiny, insignificant brain, when Huntite informed her about what order she'd missed in her fury.
A retreat? It made her blood boil. Order attacked Negaspace, and in her book, she'd never seen them get a proper retaliation for their arrogance. Now they had to retreat? What had gone wrong?
"Count your lucky little stars, kid. Next time we meet, you'll be begging for lights out." Her words were neutral and soft, though her eyes blazed with light as she turned to follow the other lieutenant.
Did she want to stay and beat the kid into the ground? Yes, of course. Did she want to deal with both senshi? Not entirely. She was aware of numbers, and aware that she was not the best fighter out there. Survival instinct won out over pride at the end of the day---well, in some cases.

Cassiopeia of Wonder
With how everything exploded around them, Cassiopeia had just been grateful that they'd been able to stay away from the Generals and other high-ranking Negaverse agents. She'd yelped when she'd gotten hit--hard--by the agent, though she'd stood her ground, readying for another strike.
But by dumb luck, the agent said someone had called a retreat, and she felt her pulse flutter with hope. The two agents left, and a wary breath left her in a rush once they'd gotten out of eyesight. Quickly, she turned to scowl down at Ara, her hands on hips as she eyed the chibi senshi.
"Not a smart move, that one. You shouldn't go up against unbalanced odds like that! You're strong, Ara, definitely, but you should go after opponents that you can match or... or overpower easier." She had to force herself to not rant and scold her like she wanted, instead trying to support the child--even if that felt very wrong to her...--and instead advise more... logical odds.
But they weren't alone. More Chaos auras were around the area, and her dark eyes picked up on a Corrupt Senshi (Hydra) and a cat whose energy felt just as wrong (Tyrus) and made bile rise up in her throat at how off it all felt. Crap.
"Your team just ordered a retreat. Strongly suggest you follow that order, agent," she called towards the Chaos senshi, her voice surprisingly stable despite the panic she felt beginning to race through her veins. Cassiopeia stepped a bit between them and Ara, more on reflex than anything else. "Keep that bat of yours close," she still murmured to Ara, keeping her voice low to keep them from hearing her, just in case they hadn't noticed the younger girl's makeshift weapon.
Red and blue flashed brilliantly while cops trickled into the area. Carefully they encroached on the epicenter of conflict, the fair few blocks where many still locked in combat. The ring of police closed on the locations, isolating them, and soon the cops departed from their vehicles to take up stance behind their doors. The procedure was familiar by this time, and those caught in the frequent crackdowns on powered mayhem were by now highly acclimated to the drill. Soon, a megaphone blared with the imperative to stand down and disperse from the area.
They would wait, naturally, for compliance. The police were known for their terribly finite patience, however; prudence dictated that one leave before further consequences occurred.
((The ORP is at its soft close now! Please take your time in wrapping up battles and making exit posts. The ORP is no longer open to new characters at this time. Thanks to everyone who participated! I could not have asked for a better story!))

Corrupted Sailor Hydra
She was still torn, part of her wanted to follow the White Moon group who had burst on scene only to flee shortly after and part of her wanted to seek out the singular eternal she had pointed to earlier.
In the end, she didn't have to chose, because someone was coming her way and making a choice for her.
"I don't take orders from you," Hydra snapped, making sure that Tyrus had landed safely before flexing her finger. It didn't matter to her that she was technically outnumbered, she believed in the cat's ability to assist where he could if it came down to it.
So, she stepped forward, shoulders squared and jade eyes narrowed.
Hands lifting, the ground started to rumble beneath her. "You should have kept running." If she pretended liked she was in control, she was. Right?

Per Spreadsheet: Strikes 1 target for 30 damage. Damage occurs in following post.
Actual Magic:Hydra spreads her arms open and there is a low rumbling/vibration beneath her feet and water rises before her reaching a height of 8ft pushing forward and slamming down on her opponent. Hydra must allow time for the wave to rise before she releases it otherwise it will not be as effective. It takes approximately 20 seconds for the wave to reach full height.
If they are within 5ft of her, they will experience mild vibrations. If hit, the person feels as though they drenched in water for at least one minute. The wave does not discriminate between allies and enemies, everyone is collateral damage.
Usage: 3 Mechanics: Hydra summons the wave in one post, attacks in the next. She can be interrupted in the middle of summoning and either the wave fails completely or is released with less potency.
Ara pouted when she got lectured, her eyes going down to her feet. Why was she getting lectured, it wasn't like she lost. "I'm sorry." She mumbled. However the lecture ended shortly as another opponent showed up.
Ara shivered behind Cassiopeia when she saw the corrupted senshi, it wasn't their power that scared though. She was afraid to know that they were a fallen senshi. The corrupt had a hole where their heart and forehead should be. The thought that chaos could transform her into a monster like that was terrifying, it would probably keep her up at night.
She wasn't sure what kind of magic this girl had, let alone how chaos would affect that. So she listened to Cassiopeia's advice and gripped her bat tighter.
As the older girls talked Ara took the opportunity darting around Cassi and behind the corrupt with her amazing speed. She lept into the air and swung her bat down with all of the might her powers allowed her aiming to smash the woman over the head. However her bat caught only air. I missed!? Oh no! She had just given up any element of surprise she had.

Tyrus, Chaos Guardian Cat
The blur of black and white dropped into the corrupt senshi's arms with as much grace as he could muster (none) and managed to scramble down onto the ground. The sudden onset of Order power signatures that seemed to flood the area made the Guardian Cat visibly cringe, but he followed Hydra in the fray regardless. Because he was a Guardian and therefore he needed someone to guard. It was his job, damnit!
When the Senshi approached and threatened Hydra, the large cat went on tip-toes, a line of fur raising along his spine. His eyes narrowed and teeth bared as the ground beneath them began to rumble. Distracted, he didn't even notice the other Senshi practically throwing herself at Hydra with a baseball bat. Thankfully, the Senshi missed and Ty turned so he was facing her now instead, his back to Hydra.
He heard the familiar crackle of communicators going off and a General ordering a retreat. Soon after, sirens blared in the distance. He looked from Ara and turned to Hydra.
"Y'hear that?," he asked her quietly. He wouldn't leave her until she decided she was ready.

Sailor Skadi
She continued to run down an alley to find a way out of the area entirely--
Finally, the young Senshi stopped when she was out of breath. Her hands went to her knees as she took in a few big gulps of air, her hair falling around her face as it slipped messily out of it's loose braid.
When she stood back up, she realized that her face felt wet... Fingers went to touch the area that the cat had attacked her and pulled back to be covered in blood. Well, that would be difficult to explain later.
She closed her eyes for a few seconds to try and drown out the sound of the loud, blaring sirens and then summoned her phone back into her hands. Dragging it across her fuku (and therefore smearing blood all over herself), she dried her hand and quickly typed back to Oberon.
Quote:
Sry!!!! got caught up... negas called 2 retreat & cops r here. i'm near a pizza place r u still around?
-S
While she hated text speak, she really couldn't be bothered to type in full coherant sentences. Since she had a few moments to spare while she waited for Oberon's reply, she moved to the Little Caesars and sat on the ground against the wall. It didn't even matter to her that other people were still fighting instead of running now that the police had arrived.

Feel free to run into her, or not! I can write her exit if you guys don't wanna XD
Following the Order signatures remaining in the area, Etoile managed to finally pinpoint a certain chibi's, and made a beeline for the preteen senshi of rabbits.
"Lepus!" Etoile cried, once she had finally rendezvoused with her bonded senshi, "I'm so glad you're okay, things were really scary!"
She could have been stepped on! Or starved! Purring happily now that she had found her senshi again, Etoile launched herself into Lepus' arms, to get a better view of the current ongoings from a higher viewpoint.
"We really should get going home now," she said, stating the obvious, "I'm hungry, and those policemen don't seem like they're going to be very nice if we stay here any longer."
Ultimately, though, the real concern was Etoile's stomach. Maybe her TV shows, too- those were always important as well, but there was the matter of her not having eaten in forever to be taken care of first. They hadn't really done anything themselves, but Etoile secretly hoped that maybe Lepus would treat them all to icecream later, to celebrate.
In the meantime, however, it was really time to get going home, before anyone got arrested or anything. What a day! Her stomach growled in agreement.
Chibi Lepus of Rabbits
A familiar grey and green blur was quickly making its way towards her, and while Lepus hadn't yet found Onnie, she felt immediate relief that at least one out of two was safe, especially since Etoile had been missing for most of the entire battle that had been going on.
"Etoi!" she called out, holding out her arms as the kitten launched herself into them. She held the little cat close; there wasn't any way they were being separated again, or at least not if Lepus could help it.
But that still left the matter of Onnie, and while the commotion was dying down, the arrival of the cops indicated to Lepus that it was vital that she found her friend and that they all got the heck out of here before they were arrested. Jail time wasn't the most appealing fate for the preteen, and she had no idea how she'd explain that to her mom. She could just go ahead and leave, and shoot Onnie a text to make sure she got out okay, too, but...
"You didn't happen to see Onnie, did you?" Lepus asked, looking down at the Mauvian in her arms, "We should probably keep looking for her, to make sure she's not in any trouble."
On the other hand, it was best to get out of here while they still could, and text Onnie once they were safe.
Tomlin watched the roof, but the high-powered energy signatures were moving back the way they’d come, and with similar speed. Whatever had happened, he didn’t think he could catch up with them, even if he’d wanted to leave Oort and Oberon, which he didn’t.
Especially when the flash of red and blue lights caught his eye, signalling the arrival of his second-least favourite civilian uniforms. The police couldn’t do much to a cat, but they could cause some real grief to his friends if they got held up. Better to leave now, and find out about the Knight later. Whoever the owner of that starseed was, they clearly had powerful friends on their side. And he couldn’t say for certain, but he thought, he hoped the starseed was still shining with life when the youma disappeared with it. It had been moments at most. They’d be in time.
As for the person Oberon was looking for, he didn’t think he knew any Skadi. Maybe a senshi, though, if they were texting.
“We can find her on the way out,” he said.
((Happy to RP further, but if not, please consider this an exit.))

Lt. Idrialite
Of all the things Idrialite had expected, seeing the cat be the more dangerous of the Senshi/cat pair was not it. Or the more aggressive, at least. He took a half-step forward, to try and help, but Quartz seemed to have the flying-puffball situation well and in hand, and Idrialite was almost certain that any kind of aggression would just make things that much more difficult for both of them. That was the last thing he wanted, against someone noted to be very, very dangerous.
Idrialite did not fancy dying to a cat and a pissed-off Senshi who just intended to protect all of the little ones gathered around him. Little ones Idrialite was loathe to harm anyway. This--he wanted to say it wasn’t what he’d signed up for, but as Quartz pointed out in introducing them, he hadn’t signed up for jack of all s**t, really. Cinnabar had shoved her hand in her chest and signed him right the ******** up, his opinions be damned.
Fortunately, the time to step in never came, and he never had to test how well he and his Captain could fare against the Eternal and his vicious cat. First, there was a call for retreat, and then there were lights and sirens--and no, Idrilaite was not going to endanger his position as Tobias by getting arrested in the middle of a magical brawl. That was a one way ticket to his life becoming very, very complicated, in ways he absolutely did not want to deal with. It was well and past time to go.
